Is this a good one to buy for mobile detailing when your mobile detail vehicle is a Honda Accord. I don’t have a truck or a van set up. Would this fit in my trunk? It’s $200 on Amazon and I’d get 25% off if I buy it now, the 1375 (smaller version) is out of stock.
If you use tap water, the heating element will built up mineral deposits. You can get rid of them by just adding some CLR and the letting it sit for 24 hours. Then add some distilled water to dilute a little bit and then run for a few minutes and then let sit some more. Vinegar should also work although I haven't done it personally.
05tech 50/50 solution of distilled white vinegar and distilled water. Let it heat up for about 30 minutes. Then let it spray for about 5 minutes. Then I shake it real hard and dump it out. There’s always a ton of crud that pours out. Hope this helps!

Attention!!! People! I just got mine delivered today , went and tried to detail my engine/ bay and it was a waste of time, my engine was dirty/ normal dirt oil , however my steamer could not do the job, Im sure it will work on interior but don't try this at home on your engine it's pointless,(unless it's immaculate) just stick to pressure washing ur engine but remember that the engine should be cooled off for at least thirty minutes before pressure washing, I turn on engine on when pressure washing"why?!" Because water has gotten into spark plugs before and it took about 20-30 to get it to start again that was 10 years ago and since then I always leave engine running when pressure washing and haven't had any issues doing it this way since. U could spend 2+hours with this steamer on an engine or 10 min with pressure washing, and same results , ur call!
I have this exact one. Mine broke under a year. I think it’s because I didn’t use distilled water. I tried the cleaning technique... didn’t work. RIP. Great steamer
im currently using the one from harbor freight which is 100 bucks is does the job only last 45 min of continuous steam , if anyone is on a budget is another alternative and u can buy it locally.
I was thinking about this steamer but I didn't want to pull the trigger on a 200 dollar machine when I dont know if I would like using it. So I bought a autoright for 80 bucks. Thanks for the info!!!
I use the McCulloch 1375 ✔✔✔ I use it to clean the dashboard, door panels, headliner & even leather. With pleather need to becareful and also to steam clean the carpet then I extract
What is the Brand Name of the EXTRACTOR that you use please? Would love to see a video review on the extractor and how to use it. Thank you, great video!!
I had the McCulloch and it broke. So, I bought a BISSEL STEAMPRO for $30 ... and the thing works great. Very portable, light, usually only have to fill it up 1-2 times per detail. I love it. Save your money, my advice.
Hi, I have a question. On that same blue truck with the hard plastic on the doors, how do you get rid of the scratches on that type of plastic? Thank you bro, all this content is awesome! I am fully taking notes!
For the generator having to turn thing off and on I recommend using a Bluetooth smart power bar to make life easier, or use a battery powered wetdry vac
2022 just recently purchased the 1385. I have a couple of issues with it as I'm experiencing the tool. #1 takes about 15m to heat. #2 When steaming water squirts out #3, the wand gun and steam line stay hot. #4 Why doesn't it have a drain line for the old water #5 where to you hang or place your wand gun line or wrap it to. These are all the issues I'm going through as a beginner with this steamer. Any thoughts you can share how is it lasting you in 2022.
What's your opinion on the mc1375 verses mc1385? I'm looking for one not just detailing my personal vehicle (truck and sedan) plus use around the house .
How do you dry the fabric seats and carpet after you steam. Can you show a video specifically on how to do seats and carpets of a car using the steamer and any cleaning products and tools (like your dry brush, link please for that 😊). Thank you!!!
for anyone reading this, if i wanted to start a small business working on car interior cleaning/detailing, would buying this steam cleaner be a good place to start? And how much should i charge for cleaning someones car interior with a steam cleaner
I find it funny that you said it will take you a couple jobs for a couple of months actually actually make your money back you make your money back as a detailer the first job you do because you guys charge about $200 That’s how much the unit cost and it pays for itself I appreciate the video down because I like to see people using it and see what they think in comparison to the other stuff we all want the best don’t we And we all wanna pay the least but the truth is is you get what you pay for and if that can last you a year and a half to two years it wouldn’t make any sense for you to go with something heavy duty until you’ve worked a year and a half or two years and put some money aside to buy one of those bad boys so that you can level up but that’s not what people do they get confused when they see a ton of money they start living large and they haven’t reinvested in themselves or their business and that’s their first mistake and almost a sure fire guaranteed to fail because they’re self-defeating and they don’t really have any moves To stay in the game because they’re too busy feeding those addictions and that keeps them bankrupt
I was trying to buy the 1375, but bought this 1385 instead, but got it for less than $130 because of Amazon promos. I’m hoping it fits in my Honda Accord for mobile detailing with the Bissell Pro, a shop vac, sunjoe pressure washer, and products. If I return this and buy the smaller one, I’d be paying a lot more for the smaller one. I’m hoping when it comes, it’ll fit in my trunk with everything else until I build up a clientele and can afford a truck or a van 😬
How many of you have used it for more than a year? After reading so many reviews, I have a feeling this is not gonna hold up long.... Most of the good reviews are either new users or paid endorsements.
I've had 2 over the last 3.5 years and done hundreds of interiors. Its not a premium, professional and commercial grade unit. It gets the job done at an affordable price
Hi Oscar. I would have been interested in this steam cleaner, but it has English electrical outlets. And I'm in France. So I should turn to a model with plugs for France.
I heard you mention it may not work so great for the engine bay because of the low psi. Have you used the Chief 125 with 135 psi and do you think it would be good for the engine? Thanks.
When detailing vehicles with this steamer as far cleaning the upholstery and carpet does this machine also extract the the dirty water after it gets.steamed.?
no it's just a steamer and therefore only sprays steam - steamers shouldn't be spraying any water. This steamer is not high quality nor does it get hot enough to sanatize surfaces, this is a cheap entry level steamer. A carpert extractor or wet vac is what extracts the liquid.
Just got mine a day ago but the first and second time using it, it seems to not have a continuous stream, it sputters constantly, spraying out little bits of water and pretty low steam output.
Brain J -You can use regular water but it will cause calcium build up and will make the machine break down faster. It will cause a lot of problems. Go to local grocery store and buy gallons/litres of distilled water.
What is your reason for buying a second unit? I am trying to compare this with Dupray because their products are out of stock right now, but I am not too convinces this is at par with Dupray's.

Yo Oscar thanks for the guide I already printed, what do you think about the dupray one?
How many watts is your generator?
In Europe, we usually use similar product to this one as known as "Karcher SC2" (made in Germany)... very good steamer... - low cost product for sure.

@@chellmcwags6229 no, just tap water. The vinegar removes all the mineral deposits from the tap water.

Yes, I'd never recommend it for an engine cleaning or wheel cleaning. For interiors, its great
Hit it with mean green or purple power then steam it works better.just avoid the alternator and fuse box.
