I still can't stress enough how this game isn't blowing up in popularity already. Honestly, this game feels and has everything to be among the top 3 digital CCGs as of today.
The artwork within Kards astounds me. I would like to see a video for each Kard deck where the artwork came from such as posters, photo's, etc. I would like to know the history and explanation of the art, like a micro art studio.
Boy can I relate to this story. I'm around the same age, grew up playing with plastic toy soldiers, played hours and hours of Axis and Allies and was fascinated by WWII. I also got into gaming in my 20s, not card gaming but miniature war gaming and I've written two campaign books for the game system bolt action for warlord games. Kards is the first card game I've ever played and I'm obsessed with it. Great design, great art, great atmosphere.
It's so great to see someone realise such a passion project! The quality of the game really shows how much care everyone put into it and how important it is for them. This makes me glad to be part of the Kards community!
A lot of what Guðmundur is saying is resonating with me. Glad to know, that designing the surface to look like table was a conscious decision, because this is one of my first positive impressions from the game. You've done a great work, I know your game will grow in upcoming years a lot. So you better be ready ) Respect from Russia.
Thank you for making this game possible, been trying to find a WWII game to play either FPS or Card Game and you made it happen so I'm really thankful then the community also welcoming, I've been with the KARDS Community since February 2020 and I can say that it was welcoming and also a place you can express your WWII knowledge or things related to WWII like making Fanmade Cards that I also do which are fun and a way to express history or some lesser known machines and info of WWII into a card.
Thanks from Colombia!! Ame el juego desde el primer día y sin duda tienen a un gran grupo que trabaja en hacer que los jugadores nos sintamos cómodos y alegres con el juego For more years enjoying Kards
I grew up playing Axis and Allies and the art style very much reminds me of that game. Games got me into World War 2 history and I've found that time period very fascinating ever since. Your game is very much a world War 2 version of Magic with enough new elements that it stands on its own. I'm very impressed by it and I'm surprised it has such a small fan base but it seems like you've definitely maintained a loyal fan base over the years. Hope your game continues to grow and thrive
Thank you so much for having created that wonderful game, with beautiful artworks that remind me of the 1/72mm scale WW2 plastic soldiers I played with when I was a teenager. Is there any book which gather all Kards artwork collections?
This is one of the games that doesn't make me toxic but doens't bore me either. Its just a game for me to play for fun and enjoy the astonishing artworks of the cards. It feels like a passion prject that even if the players are low, they will keep going.
Hi, and thanks for very interesting video. It is nice to hear some story behind the game. I think you have done great job with artwork of Kards. Cards look awsome. I personally like you game and the feeling of it. It is very good game and it runs and looks great on IPad pro 2018.
I swear, if they ever made physical cards I would need a second job just to fulfill this habit! P.S please make this a physical thing as well. Keep up the great work.
@@ossilong that guy was a bruh moment. Due to RUclips loging what comments happen on reply chains you’re in, amma just document his comment in an edit following, he will never escape. es increible como de unos simples soldaditos de juguete salio algo tan hermoso como kards ww2 c,: ojala los rumores de que el juego salga en celulares sea verdad lo seguire esperano con ansias

*Warning Spolier* (i told you) He made the game beacuse the board card game is started and he think if it in steam what will we should do? well he did it with crew and this why it here
i’m so disappointed because I love the aesthetic of this game but it’s just so simple. I don’t see what any adult gets out of it. He should’ve made it complicated like he originally wanted.

seriously? It’s such a simple boring game. Like Hearthstone. Try magic Arena.
Your card game definitely creates a whole new storyline in the TCG world. It brings and completely new gaming experience for the gamers.

Will you ever make kards and real life card game?
I would really like to see that happen

1939 doesn't dare to sell physical cards, bcz this will let players find its algorithm manipulation on drawing.
Cool story
it all started with the promise of a mobile version within a couple of months.
dude, they just did a few test runs, so it may not be a few months, but is is here-ish.
Why there is always some asshole with demands? You feel bitter? Go find something that makes you happy.

U copy shadowverse concept
what about RNG on this game, its decide 60% of victory.
Yes that is how card games work, the decks are shuffled at random and you don't know what card you will draw next.
