Shelly, your video had me in tears. It's as if you narrated my life story.
1. First book on manifestation : Ask and it is given.
2. Underwent Dark Knight of the soul.
3. Had an awakening following a messy relationship in February 2016.
4. Went from feeling shame and disgust to stillness. As the realization came that I am more than this body and mind, a huge sense of peace and relief descended upon me. People, things, relationships all appeared different. Realize that what I am is infinite. I am not the small person I used to think I am.
4. Had a second awakening in 2018 where I realized that everyone is me pushed out. 😊
5. Realized that I am a powerful manifestor.

I did a decade of therapy and a ton of self-educating while in niche bookselling -- one of my current jobs involves writing up forensic psych reports -- so I can't stress enough how much I appreciate that you're coming from this background and you *know its shortcomings* from a spiritual perspective. Unpacking every last compartment of your human ego suitcase may be useful in terms of awareness but it's not what effects lasting change, and can even become a stumbling block when you identify with the baggage. We are not those old tired stories we tell about ourselves.
This week I decided (after a day or two of feeling invisible, aggrieved and misunderstood) to tell the story "everyone appreciates me and loves the work I do" and I promptly got the highest kudos from the Big Boss.

I’m in tears listening to your awakening story. It reminded me of a similar spiritual experience I had years ago when I was crying deeply over something I felt was my fault, but a ‘voice’ that sounded like me, but wasn’t me, let me know it was not my fault. Instead, it let me know that the situation no longer served me and I needed to move on from it. Thank you for sharing your story.

I’m always simultaneously intrigued yet ultimately frustrated when I hear stories like this. I love them, and am utterly fascinated. I want to know more, more, more. Then frustration sets in because I just don’t “get it.” I’m trying to understand something cerebrally and it just can’t be captured in words. It’s ineffable and has to be experienced, not cerebrally made sense of. But I hope you continue to share these experiences with us, because they add to the mystery of the human experience and give weight and authority to this path we humans are walking. Thank you!
That's beautiful. You're hitting the nail on the head, too. When you stop trying to understand cerebrally (or with the head/mind), THEN you will know. And you already do. Just resist the impulse to trying to "understand" (again, with the mind). The Body/Being knows the truth. ;) (Also, and of course, I don't use my mind anymore... haven't since the Awakening happened).

Shelly, I've been a long-time follower of you, back when you filmed your videos in NYC! They were such treasures to me, and you've been a big part of my own awakening. I'm so grateful you're here and I found you all those years ago.
I appreciate you sharing your story so openly with us. I especially appreciate that you acknowledge that LOA isn't just about "getting stuff"; that it's really about our connection and intimacy with the Divine. So important and I don't think enough people talk about this.
Since you asked us to share our thoughts, wanted to offer mine. I hold a different view about "everyone is you pushed out". While I do think (and neuroscience has supported this, too, over the decades) that what we implicitly expect from others holds major influence in our lives and can absolutely effect how others treat us, I think that believing we can control the way other people treat us is a way of trying to make ourselves less vulnerable to life. I think so much about life and spirituality is about paradox; we are both powerful creators, and we are not in total control of life and what happens to us. If we're not willing to have our hearts shattered, how much can we grow; how much empathy, connection, and intimacy can we have for others?
That said, I also believe there is power in always working to stay connected to ourselves and Truth within us, especially when dealing with difficult people or situations; miracles can really happen between people. I just don't think it's true to say we are always in control of how this plays out. Sometimes life wants to rip us open; the "fierce grace" I've heard Ram Das and Adyashanti talk about. That powerlessness is a really precious vulnerability that gives us these tender, human hearts we have, I believe, and can open us to incredible depths of love inside.
I'd be curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and realness with us. I really appreciate you and what you put out there in the world. 💗

Exactly same thing happened to me when I left my toxic relationship...nothing was missing after that and I realised I'm good enough to get much much better and more deserving than this. I'm still looking forward to a good life, working on it. For sure have a successful career, money, good health, true love and happy marriage.

thank you for sharing your story. it has given me a good perspective about being a manifestor. End of last year, I lost my job, I lost my marriage and I lost the opportunity to live in a country I love. I was devastated and I wonder if there is an end. I chanced upon Neville Goddard on RUclips and then I bought his books. He showed me a new perspective about life. im not sure if this is awakening or not but I am more aware about things and thoughts. And then I found you after Neville. I hope to be in a state where I have this confidence that I am the creator of my own reality. I look forward to see more personal videos like this.

A beautiful sharing thank you Shelly.. Ive felt so emotional tonight and this story has calmed me down. I have been on a long road of spirituality also, but only lately discovered you and Neville Goddard. Its like a new door has openend and I must go through it, I know I can do this and I realize I manifest quite instantaniously when it comes to objects or non specific things. What you are also teaching me is to stop being in my head, which for me is natural because I am a Gemini with Gemini in Mercury so very much in my head. Luckily I have venus is cancer, but I need to learn how to manifest from my heartspace instead of my head and it is still a challange but one of your meditations recently got me there and I was amazed at how different I experienced the world and my beliefs. I want to get to this state more naturally, make it my main residence. Thank you again for the inspiration!! ***

Thank you for sharing that Shelly. Everything you said makes sense. When you said you are a psychotherapist, everything made more sense. I’m a cofounder in a startup that has a mental health app, so understand psychological concepts. Moreover, I edited around 60 videos for two psychotherapists for their RUclips channel. Plus I’m a guitarist and very much into music, and music is all about a state of mind, it’s a psychological and emotional process. It makes sense that creating and playing music is all about manifesting; it is also therapy.
What I have got out of your videos is being in tune with myself, critical for life and of course music, or there will be discord, dissonance and chaos. Manifesting for me is also being my own conductor and of my orchestra, metaphorically speaking. We all create our own frequencies and rhythms, consciously and subconsciously, so manifesting is also about creating our own inner and outer harmonies, the ones we desire.
My spiritual awakening has been a gradual one over the last year. Your videos, especially this one and the “WHY I GOT SOBER” video where you opened up, have put my experiences in context. I was subconsciously manifesting many negative situations, because of the toxic people in my life. Since the pandemic and lockdown started at the end of March, I was isolated from the toxic people in my life, mainly family, and in an entirely new environment, I was able to focus on a an entirely new journey and story of me, with a fresh new positive dialog. I went back to square one to tap in to all the things that inspired me as a teen, my emotions, hopes and desires; I also started to practice self-love, even feel it, and reconnect with my inner-child, basically tapping into my purest essence. It’s from here I’ve started to move forward. Your videos and techniques are helping me write a whole new book, not just another chapter in my life...

This made me tearful. I practically went through a very similar thing with my SP. Got drunk, acted totally out of character, not someone I would like to be. Felt the immense shame. But the only difference I did not have this sudden profound awakening like you. I'm still on my journey to that realization. Let's just say I get pockets of it now and then but seem to forget my I Am Godliness. You're right. It is a knowing. The 3D reality is always what stumps me. Which brings in the fear of no control. i only discovered loa a few weeks ago after my sp left me (i knew it existed but thought it was bs) and suddenly everything fell into place. its like i woke up one day and decided im not depressed anymore. understanding i manifested all the bad shit made me look at life differently. people are now starting to tell me im a completley changed person. even when i have moments when i wanna give up, i cant let myself do it because i cant just sit by and watch my thought destroy my life

Shelly, I loved your story! It sounds like a night and day transformation and relevation from 2012 to today. Before I knew what manifesting was, last year I began to notice that when I thought something was wrong or my SP was upset, sure he enough he would be. I began to notice a pattern and tried to control my emotions. Having been introduced to manifesting this year and the past 3 months studying Neville, learning and watching it's starting to click how this all really works. Now it's all positive mental diet and happy, loving thoughts about SP and can see it reflected in our texts. Very cool stuff. Thanks, Dana

I had the same,different experience but the creator came through me and I felt infinite wisdom flow through me and knew, and saw that everyone was another part of me, I cried for days in awe of the beauty of life. I always wanted to know the truth about life and manifestation,Abraham hicks videos kept coming though my RUclips notification for ages before I realised I needed to watch these, then I found you :) so pleased and listen pretty much every day and I am manifesting beautiful things all the time. Thank you for sharing Shelly. I like the way it happened for you with the inner knowing. My awakening was also sudden (primed over the years with bits and pieces of information that suddenly all made sense in a split second). It was mainly based on idea that thoughts are things, which I proved to myself countless times and continue to do so every single day. From then on it became a matter of thinking preferred thoughts. Just knowing seems easier.

I’ve had a similar awakening. It included experiencing nature as a part of my self. And in that moment I felt, everything was happening at the same time. And there was no past and future. Everything stood still, yet fully alive !

I’m in that in between right now of knowing that this world is only a projection. My higher self has gently led me into this phase so I haven’t had a AHA! But, I have started thinking something and it coming to me in this projection quickly lately. The idea of someone only being a projection of who I believe them to be is a new depth for me. Until you pointed that out I hadn’t thought to myself “Um, if everything is a reflection, why wouldn’t they be too?” 😱

I LOVED this. I started with ask and it is given. I was never enamoured with the "man made religons".I then read the secret and it resonated even more.Then Rhonda Byrnes the Magic .I did the 28 days and continued to journal beleive and manifest. It was over several years. I had an awakening as had my heart broken by a person I fell in love with almost at frst sight. We were brilliant together for a vry short time. It was my dark shadow hour. Thn I realised that I knew Law of Attraction and the Secret as a small child. You see I was born in a normal life and had a burning dream to be a trapeze artist. I didnt just want it, I loved Circus in the UK and knew wholeheartedly that I would be a trapeze artist. It came through even though then everyone siad youd never do it. I knew I would and they would be both gobsmacked and proud. I ended up at the accolade Blackpool Tower and touring at the top big tops of Europe and the UK for Thrty years. Now retired and content from that life I discovered you and am manifesting the man I fell in love with back ,and I know again it is inevitable because I manifested my lifes work as a small child. I have got through you to that knowing and reading plus going thrugh the dark time. So your story resonated in myriad ways. Thank you for sharing so much of your personal life and journey to inspire us. I dont feel a lack I dont feel a loss in fact I know it all went wrong because it was a physical attraction and it had to go to come back on the deeper level he and I both feel felt and want. Its not going to happen just yet but it is inevitable and so exiting to know. I feel serene. If you were on this side of the "pond" I would invite you to the wedding which WILL also happen later down the road. Weve gotta grow together but thats the journey.

I had my awakening just earlier this month (May 2020), it was the most liberating feeling/happening in my life. I knew about manifesting from long time ago, I mean it's actually quite simple and scientific, but I never really put into practice to the fullest extent (even back then when I didn't practice it "correctly", I can somehow manifest my desires, thou sometimes it was hit and missed :D). The new realization about myself, my life, and that I can actually create my world according to what I want; it's just beyond words.
So, I'm getting back again to the whole manifesting thingy, with new perspectives and emotional state, and then it occurred to me that something wasn't aligned with the technique I was doing. I have no problem with detachment/letting go, I didn't feel anxious about my manifestation, but in my mind various imaginal acts or self talk keep on popping, in a good way, throughout the day. It seems like those things just "naturally" conjured in my mind :)) I was like, what did I do wrong? Because back then, my perception about manifestation was once you detached/let go, you're not supposed to think about it all day, because it'll create the feeling of "lacking" and "scarcity". Well, it was when I found your channel few days ago, I got another whole new perspectives of manifestation. So, again, thank you, Shelly. What a valuable knowledge you share with us here. I'm truly grateful :D

I've known about the "Law of Attraction" since 2009 and have been manifesting since then. But just like you mentioned, I too believed in separation to a certain extent since I believe that's something that the word "attraction" implies. Then I went through my "Dark Night of the Soul" in the winter of 2019 and somehow found Neville after that in my search to make things right and, truly, his teachings were the missing piece of the puzzle. Everything fell into place with his knowledge and I just know that that was the last of such experiences in my life - that it only gets better from here; it already has! The "old man" has definitely died and is so not coming back 😌

That was fun. 😁 All the way through your story I was getting flashes of my own spiritual journey to allowing good to actually come into my life in a free flow. I’m 67, so I’ve been playing at this lovely game for many, many years. Around 1980 I began to pay attention to a little tome on prayer called “Teach Us To Pray” by Charles and Cora Fillmore. They laid the foundation for my discovering Esther and Jerry Hicks and their Abraham teachings in 2016, which dramatic accelerated my growth in the art of manifestation.
Bit by bit we pick up the clues and fine tune our vibration. Isn’t this the most fun in life? 😁 When people speak about their desires to me, my most common response has for years been, “How would that feel?” Now I understand more fully the value of that knowing. By minute 7:45 I'm having chills and feeling movement in my spine.
