I know :-( I happened to be in Japan at the time the YF-30 was released. I didn't even know about it beforehand cause i wasn't keeping up with Macross releases in general. Just saw t lying in Yodobashi and was like "yeah that's cool i`ll buy it" - i ended up selling it 2 years later cause i was moving from Europe to Tokyo. And i wanted to downsize my belongings as much as i could. I figured "you know what when i`m settled in Tokyo after a year or two i`ll re-purchase it. Should be no problem" - well i actually lived in Nakano (i.e 4 mins walk from Nakano broadway) and NOPE i never saw a YF-30 for the 3 years i lived there. I was sad. Still don't have one. Kinda salty about it. But it is what it is.
Mine has spent almost it's entire life in the box in a cool evironment. Yellowing is inevitable but heat and UV are the two things that cause it the most.
@@ScorchedEarthToys Having your valk in a box is too boring!! hehe Yes, yellowing is inevitable, but not all my valks are affected the same. I avoid direct sun light and my room normally is not very hot.
The VF-31A Kairos and YF-30 Chronos are the two VF's I want to see a re release so I can buy them. Also the Chronos just needs an updated transformation for the toy.
It boggles the mind that Bandai has never done a re-issue for this Valk or made the other color variants.

how did u keep it without make it white paint turn to yellow?
Mine also started to get yellow. This is a very special valk and won't probably have re-releases so it's kind of sad.
Okay, whatever you do DO NOT attempt to clean it with rubbing alcohol, it WILL damage the paint!
@@RandomHandleName449Of course not. I use Oxydant creme and sun (not yet in that valk) and it works great so far. No paint work was affected.

I wonder which cartoon series this model appeared in. Been catching up with their anime lately but dont remember seen this
It's not in any anime, it appeared only in the Macross30 video game.
I really hope Bandai could reissue this toy but with the updated engineering of VF31
The kind of toys I would buy in threes or two, so I wouldn't wear them out by constant transforming.
