Feel like a repeat? In my first guide, I rotated the hips too high so I've corrected the video and made more of a point of where the hips should be. Support this channel by shopping at HobbyLink Japan using my URL: www.hlj.com/?
OOOOOOOH!!! Thank you for clearing up that hip joint! Yeah, even when I read the instructions, I made the assumption that it was supposed to rotate all the way back. That half-way point feels a bit awkward, but it makes sense. That spot allows for the most mobility. 😄
I understand this position provides greater articulation for the legs however, this 'half-way' point doesn't really lock and moves around too much when repositioning the legs - although admittedly stiff enough to not slip or collapse once you find your pose.
I’m curious, what’s holding the arms in place in battroid form? Like, there’s no peg or tab at the base of where the shoulder articulates, so does that mean the arms\shoulders flop around?
Man, they couldn't even throw in the fold booster but they give you the parts to attach it?! So lame. Well, this one is staying in Battroid mode and the Yamato is staying in fighter mode with one of the extra fold boosters I got from the Yamato Fast Pack set.
Close enough. Actually I’m kind of glad it has those flaws so I don’t feel compelled to buy another YF-21. I’ll stick with Yamato’s until Bandai does a revision.
For how long they took to design it. It could have been so much better. The Battroid mode with how far the backpack sticks out is such a disappointment. Im leaving mine in Fighter mode for the time being. The fighter mode is where this design really shines IMO.

Thank you for this. Saved my sanity so much

Whew! It's beautiful, but I'll be keeping mine in fighter mode!
thanks for the guide
Don't feel bad...the head popped off of mine too! Nice video!
Great tutorials and very informative. You're the best
Best instructor 💯💯
Thanks so much for the guide, will be using this later 😊 Oh, interested in your review as well, the link up soon?
Any day now...
I think they would be releasing the VF22 toys since the high grade versions (model kits) of vf22s are coming out
If that's true, looking forward to get the black VF-22
Lol i thought there was a glitch in the Matrix.
TIME FOR WAPNER!

The swing bar gets locked into position @3:29 in the video. There's no locking point at the intake.
Seems the feet, legs and some transformations are the only advantage it has over the Yomato's version...
after watching this, mine is never coming out of fighter mode..

Too bad the transformation requires an external brace.....Major unacceptable fail... Older versions had in integrated one...
Yup, and they couldn't throw in a fold booster but they give you the parts to use the one that came with the first release of the Y-19.
I like how it looks... But... The desing is a lil... Weird.
