Because of Arne Slot, I'm actually considering picking up an additional subscription and actually start following the Premier League more seriously and Liverpool in particular. I always thought our 2 clubs have a lot in common, and if I had to choose a British club to support it has always been Liverpool for me. You'll never walk alone!

@@Joey-ct8bm I think Romario was scouted because of the Olympics in 1988. He scored 7 goals there. PSV people flew to Brazil to sign him straight after. Years later, Aad de Mos (Dutch manager and scout at the time) saw Ronaldo at 16 years old and because of Romário’s experience at PSV, Ronaldo chose PSV over Inter Milan who also wanted him at that time. It were obviously different times with less intercontinental connections, so it took the Olympics to even being able to scout Brazilian players. It somewhat changed the Dutch league with more and more South-American and African players coming in. None of them as good as those two though.

I've had that feeling for a month now. What most people are not mentioning is that the speed and precision of our passing is surgical. Almost alaways because of that there is the option for efortless directional control and that breaks the opposition lines and wreacs havoc and panic in a blink of an eye. Our success in counter pressing is bigger while pressing us seems futile and really dangerous for teams. They are now baited into pressing.
This is what i said when the news was announced. I got a small statue of slot at home, best coach we had since ernst happel's Europa cup 1 and world cup win in 1970
Life-long Feyenoord supporter here. The most important quality of Slot is his obsession with having every detail of the game under control. The man lives, sleeps, eats and breathes football. He watches countless hours of footage to understand what his opponents are doing, what every individual player of the opponent does - and then does it again with his own squad and players. This is why his style of play is so intense and pressing: he generally knows how the opponent will build the game, so he instructs his own players to begin defending on the opponent's half, get the ball as quickly as they can and then strike immediately. He doesn't like the ball circulating too much in the back or overly complex patterns to get the ball in the opponent's area - he believes constant high pressure is how you win. That's why he demands that his players are always in the best possible physical condition. Feyenoord had some very good players, but we had no Salah, no Díaz and no Van Dijk, so in Rotterdam the system was everything. Now imagine a squad with world class players in this system. You'll not only have Slotball, but also the individual top qualities of the Liverpool players to boot. There is no doubt in my mind that Slot will prove to be just a successful as or even more successful than Klopp. Slot is someone who forges winning teams. He did so at PEC Zwolle, at AZ, at Feyenoord and will do so again at Liverpool.
As a Brit Liverpool supporter, it makes me happy to see an American brother who loves Liverpool. You’ve got my sub. As a guy born and raised in Liverpool the support for Arne is real we can see the players enjoying the game playing with energy and strength Liverpool fans understand the power of the 12th man Anfield is truly an atmosphere to be part of ….
Slot isn't only a good trainer. He's also a very good people manager. In Feyenoord we have never heard of problems in the group or players making problems because they didn't play. No guarantees of course but he will do mighty fine I think. I was never a Liverpool fan but I am a Slot fan, so I hope for the best. I loved it to see ten Hag losing bigly as Donald chump calls it.
As I Feyenoord fan I wrote similar comments haha, I was (and still am) 100% sure he'd succeed. Slot is simply exceptional. Even when 12 new players came to feyenoord, within two months Slot created a machine with them. Normally 12 new players means it will take a year to build a team. Happy for Liverpool, it's my favourite club abroad, hope to visit a game one day.
I think it's not only his genius, but more his likability. He's not arrogant, honest and handles even the most annoying journalists with class. I'm sure those qualities come in handy in the dressing room too. The squad will be fitter than ever and I even dare to say that in the future some top class players will remember Slot as the coach from who they learned the most and who they liked the most.
when Slott was announced as our Gaffer, I immediately did my research and found most of these comments. I was immediately a believer. I never understood people who were doubtful, Is it that we will never have world class managers outside the ones we already have?
I saw friendly matches of Liverpool and thought, am I watching Feyenoord? (positive). I think things can only get better. Good luck with Arne. I/we/Rotterdam/Feyenoord miss Arne. Nothing against the new coach. Arne is simply special
Loved the content ❤❤❤ such a different viewpoint from the mass which are all reactionary rather than based on detailed research that they can't be bovered with keep up the excellent work 👍👍👍
My nephews cousin lives in Feyenoord. We had my nephews 30th birthday party in Cardiff, Wales. UK and this guy told me so much about Slot and how good he is. I've been super excited since then and that qss 4th August. What I am seeing is what he said. YNWA
Paul - i started reading your comment thinking you had some juicy transfer news for me haha - anything that starts with "my nephew's cousin" always means some secret info haha
As a feijnoord fan been supporting liverpool too at a young age when John Barnes was dribbling like a magician. Arno slot will bring those liverpool glory years back. Trust me
There were a couple of Feyenoord fans in the chat the other day & they are cheering when Liverpool win was what one of them said. My response was we have a world class manager in the making. We are still yet to see what he can bring after saying 6 months in the job when everybody in the squad know exactly what is required & expected of his style & tactics. 97
Yea man it’s so exciting to think about. He’s always been able to come in and quickly integrate his style - now just think about how good this core group of players can be after they’ve trained under slot for 6-12 months. Scary!!
@@AllRedShow Scary for all opposition. One of the biggest tests Arne is going to face is when we play Real Madrid followed by Man City. Granted both games we are home for both fixtures. I'm so excited for this season & the coming years. To think how his team will be when Arne has brought in few more players that are suited to his style is mind blowing. The futures bright the futures Arne Slot.
My gut feeling from the start i.e. when I saw that mini docu about his time at Feyenoord, was that we have struck gold with Arne Slot. I have that feeling even more now. As good as we've been so far my gut feeling again is that we are going to just get better and better. All the players seem to be on board with what he wants us to become. Bigger tests to come for sure but we are in a really good place right now.
Yes it’s only game 3 but usually we don’t play well first 7 games and those 9 points are well deserved and 3 shootouts for us. Here comes the fact : We are lucky that Klopp left Arne amazing squad considering what Klopp had when he signed, he raised Liverpool out of mud to the golden generation winning everything possible and he promised that he will win premier league the rest is fairy tale for us -fans. I did lose plenty of nerves with Liverpool conceding early goals, but fottie was unreal and joy to watch as well Klopp having such an amazing connection with fans. I can see w Arnie priorities are not to lose ball in the middle especially and lower counters resulting in defense being exposed as before. He is more tactical and all around coach that gives more energy to the players otherwise we wouldn’t get into his style of managing from day one. But all said players will never have better relationship with any other coach than KLOPP. If I made mistakes I apologize English is not my first language and also if you think I made mistake about Arnie pls correct me since it’s hard for me to express myself cause of lack of English. Cheers from Bosnia and I wish you all of the best and to your families and loved ones. YNWA.
Klopp produced so many magical moments - it's what he thrived on. I think Slot will be different in that he won't need to rely on the magic as much. He's a calmer person and that shines through in his tactics. Incredible comment mate!! Thank YOU! YNWA
Feyenoord fan here. From first year as manager I told everybody Slot was the best buy we did in my 45 years with FR1908. He did it all without budget, just nailed it from the start.
LFC supporter here, and I would agree - he's doing the same thing in Liverpool - they've not spent on any players apart from 1 world class forward. I expect to see major improvements in players and tactics - City games will be the litmus tests - tactical masterclasses if we beat them.
Incredible mate - the fact he did what he did with such little funds really shows you the class he possesses. It doesn't take much to win when you can outspend your competition 5-6x (Ajax).
@@buffalosowljah ONE in the netherlands he is known for studying the game like noone else. Did it from when he stopped as a player. It has made him very very smart. TWO He is a teacher who is able to communicate his plan to players. THREE. He is cool. That leaves him space for thought during game. And represent the team without stress in an honest way to critical journalists after defeat or a lesser played game. FOUR he’s a country boy (east of holland) not there to rub shoulders with the stars, he gives sh@t about that. He’s so honest. When he decided to go to Feyenoord, he told the club AZ just like that. They couldn’t grasp his honesty and fired him. Says all about Arne that he’s a man that is who he is.
You should make a video what Slot did with Mats Wieffer. Such an sensational development and became our key player. Bought for 500.000 and sold 2 years later for + 30M. Really looking forward to see the same development at Gravenberch who probably will be worth 100M+ soon
What he did in the first game against Ipswich when he substituted Jarrel Quansah at half time scored top marks in my books, it showed he's not only a good manager tactically but likewise he's not going to tolerate underperforming or sloppiness.
I think we unintentionally duplicated roles during the Jurgen era. Yes Klopp managed, but Pep coached and took team tactical sessions. If you have a great club structure why not just trust the Head Coach to coach, and support him through the structure? The team looks refreshed with a hands on coach😊. Europe is the test though, game every 3 days in Oct\Nov.
I still remember Paisleys appointment after the shock resignation of Shankly This feels like that nobody welcomed the changed Bob led us to some of the greatest feats ever enjoyed by Liverpool football club and I have a sneaky feeling we might do some similar bits under Slott 's leadership.......
O'm lovin the game management so far under Slot. There may come a day where we want him to add insult to injury and totally destroy am opponent 6-0, but for the moment I happy to keep conserving energy and keep racking up 3 points per game l. We have much bigger tests to come and come December we'll know exactly what Slot is about. YNWA
@farrelco There's a difference between optimism and getting carried away, we could have beaten Man U by more, and we could have done likewise to both Ipswich and Brentford but we slowed the game down and picked our opportunities to attack whereas under Klopp we would have kept going a breakneck speed and by about 6 games in our 1st 11 would be knackered. Was Klopp's passion infectious? Absolutely, but Slot's more considered approach might be better for us and the players. Time will tell, but 3 games and a pre-season in, and I'm optimistic about the season, and I believe we can get results against the teams that previously might have been a banana skin.
Slot is a workaholic as the players have noticed. Training starts earlier with a mandatory breakfast and much more tactical meetings. The city's of Liverpool and Rotterdam are comparable in many ways and so are the football clubs. Slot isn't the first successful ex Feyenoord in Liverpool and probably not the last either.
SLOTBALL will get even better and better Cannot wait to discovery this evolution especially after the break. I cannot wait to see the other midfield permutations and how players like Harvey Elliotte, Federico Chiesa will bed in.
told you so !!! i can't really describe in a few words what he accomplished here in Rotterdam but trust me . you ain't see nothing yet . YNWA ps it's in written the stars that our teams will meet
5:18 ...I love that.....We are so lucky to get Arne to take over from Klopp. I admit that I was rooting for Thomas Frank.....just imaging Frank with Klopp's kids and the senior players........love his philosophy in youth development and his tactics. I am happy still with Arne. I would not be surprised if Arne achieved much success in LFC, the likes of RM, Barca or Bayern comes calling in future.😢
When Klopp did that chant for Arne Slot, he must of knew what Slot is capable of. I'm really excited for Liverpool's future and it's off to a great start!
I remember when Shankly left too, I thought it was the end of the world. Then came Paisley, then came the trophies, I loved Klopp and was saddened by his inevitable departure but I feel extremely positive about the future and I’ve been really impressed by what’s happened so far. I do wish we hadn’t taken our foot off the gas as soon as we did against United as one more goal would’ve put us top of the league (I know it’s only three games in) but it would’ve been a great psychological boost to take into the international break.
im not even surprised if liverpool will win the league. what he did at feyenoord was incredible. ofcourse the prem is a lot different. but with the players he has and if the Slotmachine starts to roll its big GG for the other prem teams.
I have a guy who ive been gaming with he became a good friend ... hes a hes a supporter of Feyenood and too said Slot very good Manager but because of Ten Hag i doubt my friend... but i can see he was right Also because Slot is at Liverpool he supports Liverpool too
I want everybody to succeed in LFC but. I don't care whatever been said about managers and players prior to their LFC era and what they've achieved. The only thing matters is that they're doing great for LFC. Between Dalglish I and Klopp I heard great things about many new signings but they never lived up to the hype
you know the movie Mean Machine, was that what it was called,? Burt Reynolds, that's how us fans should chant 'slot machine', I was not excited when he was chosen but I didn't dislike him, and so far I like him, and the football has looked great, probably better than with Klopp
When we were looking for a new manager/head coach I had a niggle in my head saying knowing Liverpool FC we are.goingbto get a manager that not a lot of people (Liverpool fans mainly) will have heard of. Look what happened. I looked into him once it was clear we were getting him & watched a lot of highlights on RUclips going back to his AZ days. I was instantly yes we got the right man. I know it's still very early but I genuinely believe Arne is the right man for the job. 97
I agree Jon. The more I learned about slot the more I got really excited. He’s so multifaceted. And the fact he turned down spurs and then said yes to us is the cherry on top.
I'm Dutch, living in Amsterdam: To pronounce the Dutch surname "Slot" correctly in English, the "o" should be a short sound, similar to the vowel in the English words "hot" or "lot" (but not as drawn out as the "o" in "boat"). Phonetically, it would look like: /slɔt/ Here's the breakdown: The "S" is pronounced the same as in the word "sit". The "l" is also the same as in "lot". The "o" is a short, open vowel sound, like in the Dutch word "gôh", similar to the "o" in the English "hot" or "not". The "t" is pronounced clearly, just like the "t" in "top". So, "Slot" should sound like "Slot", with a short "o", not "Sloat" or "Slut". peace out.....
I feel if it was a different big 6 club (Chelsea / United) there would be a lot more grumbling fans with someone like Slot and his previous experience. They want the big name managers (Conte, Poch, Tuchel, Zidane), but as a Liverpool fan with the way we do transfers I knew whoever we would go with would be a gem. The last few years especially we don't miss with transfers, so when Slot was announced and i dug more into him I found out how great of a coach and man he was. May be a bit much but you can see why fans are doing the Shankley to Paisely comparison with Klopp and Slot. Klopp built the team and Slot is going to run wild with it
Yep - 100000% mate! Klopp gave Slot this mountain of gold to play with and I love that Slot didn't feel the need to come in and blow up the whole team, even with aging stars. Incredible - and now we can make teams like UTD, who've spent 200m in the summer, look foolish.
Thanks & it's funny that some people especially Gary neville saying Slot was 3rd choice which isn't true it was the media asking g Alonso about theiverpool job it didn't come from inside Liverpool
Arne Slot reminds me a bit of Rafa Benitez. Very analytical and attention to details. Both are not the loudest on and off the pitch and not really the emotional showing style of manager/coach, although Benitez appeared colder and ruthless, Slot seems very warm towards his squad and fans. Also a bit like the late Gerrard Houllier, very wise and well spoken person this Arne Slot guy. Games so far very attacking minded and entertaining but definitely well prepared and better executed than during Roy Evans's day at LFC. For sure, Klopp is like the modern day Shankly, very charismatic individual and the people's person, loud and emotional and you know the rest. YNWA!
I don't know if Rafa just didn't have the talent like Slot does but I never really enjoyed watching Rafa's teams play. It was pretty boring and I wasn't sad to see him go (in fact I was happy when our rivals Chelsea hired him because I knew it wouldn't work). Slot's different.
@@AllRedShow Lol I have to agree with you on this. Transfer budget is one thing, and the rest would be the way we approached the match under him. Sometimes we were too pragmatic and playsafe where the game should be more open than cagey. During that time we almost 100% depended on Torres, Gerrard, Mascherano, Xavi Alonso, Carragher, Hyypia and Reina. Other than that we have do not have anymore talented players in the team. One or two out injured or suspended, we're doomed. One major mistake during his time with LFC was when he tries to bring Gareth Barry to replace Xabi Alonso, in the end we only managed to bought that injury prone Aquilani.. Really sad to see Alonso leaving in the end for Real Madrid..
I stayed in Tirana the weekend of the conference league final a few years feyenoord got to the final. There was a fan in the pool telling me that slot is the next Klopp. I was like yeah right sure he is
A good start is better than a bad start, no. Slot has shown himself to be cool, calm and collected. Of course we need to see how he reacts to adversity. But the signs are positive.
Arne Slot has a hell of a lot to prove at Liverpool lets hope his Ego doesn't get the better of him ......I see he has already pissed off Caoimhin Kelleher with his first signing [Giorgi Mamardashvili has become Arne Slot's first signing] Kellehers loyalty to Liverpool has been savage......My point been why block Kelleher from going elsewhere in search of first team football and sign a goalkeeper that won't be arriving at the club until next season.
The offers for Kelleher were criminally low and it wasn't Slot's decision anyways. That's hughes and edwards. I feel for Kelleher as well but I expect him to be able to leave next summer or maybe this winter if someone comes in with a fair deal.
I said months ago don't compare Slot whit T.H. T.H. is one arrogant manager like Van Gaal:when he went to 'big' clubs he tought let me learn you something,Arne Slot is gratefull being Liverpool trainer whit no nonsens and you Reds are having very nice times ahead.
What's interesting about Slot is I don't get the vibe that he's "super excited" to be at liverpool ... as in he's not so in awe of the massive job ahead of him. He's so calm and collected there's so much CONFIDENCE there and it's really cool to see him come in so quickly and be successful
What do you mean, nobody paid any attention about what they were saying about Arne Slot? Liverpool listened and recruited the man. The English press and media weren't listening, but then, they NEVER do listen because they think they know it all. Arne is slotting in (see what I did there?) very well at Anfield, and the Liverpool fans are loving a bit of Slotball.
The best way to look at it is this way; we know exactly what and how Slot wants to play after 3 games… ETH ain’t a clue 3 years in. YNWA ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ YNWA
Three games. Let's not get carried away. This is a tough league where the bottom team can beat the top. Let's get to 15 /20 league games. champion league and domestic cup competition to see if he's quality
here another fan who has been spamming the liverpool channels for months about Slot's greatness. I think there is not 1 Feyenoord fan who dislikes him or is relieved he is gone. He had to rebuild the squad over and over again, and within no-time there was a smooth operating machine again. I have not much to add on the comments you showed. He will be an elite trainer. The first time ever that i cheer for a team cause of a trainer.
You watch mate, instincts are now bettable...Slot is Paisley. Shanks and Jurgen were good and necessary for their time and there would have been nothing for Bob without Bill. Just the same now, it's a repeat cycle. When we look back in ten years, we'll see it: Slot will become great at LFC (he was great before he came but we didn't know him yet) because Jurgen was good and built us into something amazing and left Slot with an embarrassment of riches in talent which he has thus far perfectly exploited and yet is tweeking to perfection with his own style (better than Jurgen's, IMHO). Now, we'll see him do the business and silverware, bro, silverware like this generation has NEVER seen is coming. You watch mate...it's all coming together with Slot. I'd say to get excited but you're already bouncing off the ceiling! As well you should, bro!
I believe Slot is the biggest Dutch managerial talent since Van Gaal, who is criminally underrated by the English too, and that is better than Cruijff. What the English don't understand is how difficult it is to step up from the Dutch League to CL level, with a squad not even a 10th of the value of those of Real and Juventus. It was a remarkable performance by Ten Hag and what Van Gaal did with Ajax was out of this world. What he did later with AZ, Bayern and the national side was also more than remarkable. Man Utd seems destined to make managers fail, but EtH has made a lot of mistakes too. He also got carried away after winning that shield thing. That was probably his biggest mistake and his weaknesses have become overexposed ever since.
When Arne is finished with Liverpool, giving them lots of trophies, he is going to be coach of the national squad! And probably making the Netherlands champion of the world 😀 After that he comes back to Feyenoord 🔴⚪ 🤞
This aged badly. Losing to Nottingham Forest at Anfield for the first time in over 50 years. Milan next which could be back to back losses, then Bournemouth and Wolves in the league. He's had a very easy start to the season so far and should be 3 for 3, the next two Premier League games should both be wins also, if he suffers another loss in either of these games the pressure will begin to mount. I hope he can turn this around, but the one thing I really dislike about Slott is his openness when talking about his tactics after the match. He goes deep into his thinking, which I personally would rather he didn't as this will give an insight for the opposition.
Slot started at Feyenoord with a budget of 5 million, and lost their star Berghuis to Ajax. After that...... Sinisterra sold for 25 million to leeds. Senesi sold for 15 million to Bournemouth Malacia sold for 15 million to MU Kokcu sold for 25 million to Benfica Wieffer sold for 30 million to Brighton Geertruida sold for 25 million to Leipzig (Ruudos told me i forgot.....Aursnes for 15 million to Benfica) Still have some money on the pitch now, Gimenez, Timber, Hancko, Hartman etc. All built up from scratch, reaching the final of the conference league and one championship and the dutch cup. 2 years in a row now participating in the Champions League
@@AllRedShow People mostly talk about his managing and tactic skills, but he transformed Feyenoord from a club in debt to a flourishing club............for me as a fan i am incredible greatful for that.
If Slot had been going too United we would never hear enough of how amazing he is, But coming to us he isn't good enough for the premier league as he came from The Dutch League. Even though ETH came from the same league lol

Incredible mate - and your comment means the world!! It's comments like these that get me even more excited for the Slot era!
Thanks brother for the insight
I'm now a Feynoord fan I hope the best for their club aswell ❤️

Haha fantastic!
As a guy born and raised in Liverpool the support for Arne is real we can see the players enjoying the game playing with energy and strength Liverpool fans understand the power of the 12th man Anfield is truly an atmosphere to be part of ….
incredible mate - humbled to have you comment on here! up the reds!!!
Yep he's got so many facets to how he coaches it's really incredible.
Incredible mate. Thank you for the gift of SLOT
Yep agree with you 100% mate!
Thanks for giving us Arne slot 🙏🏼 feyenoord 💫 we all as a red fan wish you have a great season 😊👊🏼
Echo this mate!!
I've been Ajax fan my whole life and think Slot is the best coach i ever seen..
wow - incredible mate this gets me way too excited
when Slott was announced as our Gaffer, I immediately did my research and found most of these comments. I was immediately a believer. I never understood people who were doubtful, Is it that we will never have world class managers outside the ones we already have?
There will always be doubters. Slot doesn’t care about them tho.
Liverpool build stars, they don't buy them like plastic clubs
I saw friendly matches of Liverpool and thought, am I watching Feyenoord? (positive).
I think things can only get better.
Good luck with Arne.
I/we/Rotterdam/Feyenoord miss Arne.
Nothing against the new coach.
Arne is simply special
Love this mate - gets me even more excited!
Loved the content ❤❤❤ such a different viewpoint from the mass which are all reactionary rather than based on detailed research that they can't be bovered with keep up the excellent work 👍👍👍
Thanks mate
My nephews cousin lives in Feyenoord. We had my nephews 30th birthday party in Cardiff, Wales. UK and this guy told me so much about Slot and how good he is. I've been super excited since then and that qss 4th August. What I am seeing is what he said. YNWA

As a feijnoord fan been supporting liverpool too at a young age when John Barnes was dribbling like a magician. Arno slot will bring those liverpool glory years back. Trust me
Yes mate!!!! Love it!!
I am so glad someone remember John Barnes..😊😊my Pa was the only Evertonian in a family of Reds😂. Even he like John Barnes😂😂😂
music to my ears.. barnsy.. rushie and king kenny the good ol days without the pussy footing players falling on the ground as if shot by sniper etc 👌
Bigger tests for sure. It’s early. But the signs are very bright.
4:07 I also said a couple of times Slot is the new Cruyff in management! Greetings a Feyenoord fan❤🤍‼️🙏🏻💪🏻🫶🏻
Thanks mate!!!!
Feyernoord are my favourite dutch club .Love from Malaysia ❤
Thanks for being here mate!
Thank YOU! YNWA
Well said and you wrote it brilliantly easily understood. And that’s from an Englishman 👍
It doesn't take much to win when you can outspend your competition 5-6x (Ajax).
so what is special about slot and what ca he actualy bring to lppol?
@earsykneesynosy awesome stuff mate and I can see everything you explain already after two months at the club.
Ok this has endeared me more to feyenoord now. And has helped in confirming my faith in Arne slot.
Excellent mate! Liverpool 🤝 Dortmund 🤝 Feyenoord
You should make a video what Slot did with Mats Wieffer. Such an sensational development and became our key player. Bought for 500.000 and sold 2 years later for + 30M. Really looking forward to see the same development at Gravenberch who probably will be worth 100M+ soon
Oh man such a great idea and I think you could be right. could get there with
What he did in the first game against Ipswich when he substituted Jarrel Quansah at half time scored top marks in my books, it showed he's not only a good manager tactically but likewise he's not going to tolerate underperforming or sloppiness.
Yep he sees the smallest details. Who would’ve thought that switching your center back would solve the issue of not being able to score?!?!
Yea it’s gonna be crazy. Trust the process tho.
I still remember Paisleys appointment after the shock resignation of Shankly This feels like that nobody welcomed the changed Bob led us to some of the greatest feats ever enjoyed by Liverpool football club and I have a sneaky feeling we might do some similar bits under Slott 's leadership.......
Feels VERY similar!!
YNWA
😮dont get carried away. If we could win 6-0 v Man U we would have but we missed chances and got 3-0 against a Man Utd team low on confidence
Agree mate - Slot's tactics are still fresh in the squad - they're not firing on all cylinders yet, which is even more exciting.
I dont think anyone mentioned it but Liverpool fans sing You never walk alone . .. wel... thats Feyenoords song to... so we are connected😊
incredible mate!
Feyenoord and Liverpool has simalar. Harbour citys and working class, and the best atmosphere. Same as Sunderland
Absolutely mate. YNWA
Who was the first ex Feyenoord in Liverpool?
@@AllRedShow Think Dudek was an early one, dont know if he was the first though
Dirk Kuyt was second?
Probably Dudek and Kuyt(2006/2007) but I also want to mention Wijnaldum who might have joint Liverpool from PSV but with a large Feyenoord history.
@@Aviopic Wijnaldum was signed from Newcastle, but I appreciate he played for both Feyenoord and PSV
SLOTBALL will get even better and better
Cannot wait to discovery this evolution especially after the break. I cannot wait to see the other midfield permutations and how players like Harvey Elliotte, Federico Chiesa will bed in.
YES!! We've only seen a fraction of what the slot machine can do at liverpool.

Liverpool is THE destination now - we won’t be losing managers to other clubs.
What a great start Slot has had at LFC🤩 , let's hope it continues 😎

I remember when Shankly left too, I thought it was the end of the world. Then came Paisley, then came the trophies, I loved Klopp and was saddened by his inevitable departure but I feel extremely positive about the future and I’ve been really impressed by what’s happened so far. I do wish we hadn’t taken our foot off the gas as soon as we did against United as one more goal would’ve put us top of the league (I know it’s only three games in) but it would’ve been a great psychological boost to take into the international break.
Absolutely 100% agree with you mate. Seems like Liverpool are in an incredible position and on the precipice of success!

I want everybody to succeed in LFC but. I don't care whatever been said about managers and players prior to their LFC era and what they've achieved. The only thing matters is that they're doing great for LFC. Between Dalglish I and Klopp I heard great things about many new signings but they never lived up to the hype
True mate. Still … we can be excited about a manager his former club’s supporters were super sad to lose.

you know the movie Mean Machine, was that what it was called,? Burt Reynolds, that's how us fans should chant 'slot machine', I was not excited when he was chosen but I didn't dislike him, and so far I like him, and the football has looked great, probably better than with Klopp

an incredible gift from our dutch brothers!
I'm Dutch, living in Amsterdam:
To pronounce the Dutch surname "Slot" correctly in English, the "o" should be a short sound, similar to the vowel in the English words "hot" or "lot" (but not as drawn out as the "o" in "boat").
Phonetically, it would look like:
/slɔt/
Here's the breakdown:
The "S" is pronounced the same as in the word "sit".
😂😂 did I get it wrong mate??
Slot, now with hindsight, seems the only choice now doesn't he? He's been incredible so far
@@AllRedShow I agree I think Edwards & Co. had there eye on him & all the players have bought into his way of football
Peace & Love from Dublin 🇮🇪
@timmedarnaugustine2076 oh my the Aquilani days. Mate we’ve come so far in 20 years!!

I just know wthat Feyenoord’s fans are world class 😮😮😮
Yea mate I think so for sure
Feyenoord are a class act 👍
they are - a definite new brotherhood for LFC fans similar to Dortmund
I see what you did there mate and I love it so much.

here another fan who has been spamming the liverpool channels for months about Slot's greatness. I think there is not 1 Feyenoord fan who dislikes him or is relieved he is gone.

Haha man I hope you’re right!! Slot is getting me really excited. Trying to temper it of course.
FSG knew that as long as they got Edwards he'd get the right guy.

Premier League is a lot more challenging than the Dutch League, so we'll see. But he's certainly off to a good start.
Yes indeed mate
This is the type of content Liverpool fans need! All these doom and gloom RUclips channels are going to be buried 6ft under.
thanks mate!! appreciate that! just call it like I see it and right now I'm very excited
Slot completely embarrassed ETH and then told the world how he did it afterwards. Their miles apart IMO.
My picture is on the thumbnail, de guy on the left. How did you get my picture?
whoa!! mate! that's crazy! I found you on the depths of the internet. If you'd like I can take you off.
When Arne is finished with Liverpool, giving them lots of trophies, he is going to be coach of the national squad! And probably making the Netherlands champion of the world 😀 After that he comes back to Feyenoord 🔴⚪ 🤞

@@AllRedShow😂😂😂😂😂 wow
Hmmm if klopp was like shankly... then slot will be paisley??? I sure hope we win as much trophies!!!❤ #ynwa
I think we’re starting to see the similarities but it’s early mate let’s take a deep breath.
I agree with you!! I’ve wondered if he shares too much about his tactics. Keep those things secret man!!
Slot started at Feyenoord with a budget of 5 million, and lost their star Berghuis to Ajax. After that......
Sinisterra sold for 25 million to leeds.
Senesi sold for 15 million to Bournemouth
Malacia sold for 15 million to MU
Kokcu sold for 25 million to Benfica
Wieffer sold for 30 million to Brighton
Geertruida sold for 25 million to Leipzig
(Ruudos told me i forgot.....Aursnes for 15 million to Benfica)
Still have some money on the pitch now, Gimenez, Timber, Hancko, Hartman etc.
All built up from scratch, reaching the final of the conference league and one championship and the dutch cup. 2 years in a row now participating in the Champions League
Incredible. Slot’s changed Feyenoord forever.
Aursnes sold for 15 million (bought for less than 1 million the year before).
@@Ruudos Ruudos i forgot him.......
@@AllRedShow People mostly talk about his managing and tactic skills, but he transformed Feyenoord from a club in debt to a flourishing club............for me as a fan i am incredible greatful for that.
Not greedy, just want to challenge for stuff. 🏆 YNWA
yes mate!! let's go win a few trophies eh?!
Feyenoord fans have singing You never walk alone for about 50 years… so yeah, there are some similarities between Liverpool and Feyenoord ❤
incredible! definitely some brotherhood being kindled in the early stages of the Slot LFC Era!
If Slot had been going too United we would never hear enough of how amazing he is, But coming to us he isn't good enough for the premier league as he came from The Dutch League. Even though ETH came from the same league lol
Incredible isn't it? Slot just embarrassed ETH on a national stage and then told everyone how he did it
Man u got the dull one and we got the shiny one
hahaha!!
Hope that A Slot will do as told by the dutch fans and that Lfc will rise from that ashes to match the days of Paisley!
Yes mate!! Although Liverpool are far from ashes right now - Slot's been given a pitcher of liquid gold and told to make lemonade
Fan bases missing a manager means nothing. I was in Amsterdam in May 2021 and ETH had not long been appointed as new Man Utd manager. I was speaking to Ajax fans and they were gutted he left and were saying how lucky United were😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Oh snap … but there were a few that didn’t like him for sure 😂😂
