What a great ride it is on our country roads. We are really pleased with the decision. Thanks for the support. Part 2 pottsy talks a bit about mods and the technical side of the bike . Coming soon
The bike definately has appeal and is pretty sexy on the road we think. Yes, Considering the lack of preparedness for Leanne with the new bike layout she did great to adjust to her new surroundings. We both talk again in Part #2 around our first 1k km impressions. One to watch coming soon . Thankyou
Thanks mate. Once we decided on the change back to a Harley tourer it seemed to happen really quickly so was meant to be. Australian roads are amazing. Even in the wet we are spoilt with incredible scenery. Thankyou for the support and your friendship. We still want to share our experience of the new bike by talking technical so keep an eye out for Part #2 coming soon
Pottsy gave the change a lot of thought which has been spot on. We will watch your trip series with new eyes. Thankyou for watching and supporting . In about a week Part #2 will explore our mods and Pottsy talks first 1k tech. Im sure you will be very interested
Congratulations! It's a beautiful bike murdered out with the bronze accents. My Electa Glide is a 114. My first and only M8. It just dawned on me that I've never ridden the 117. So it was interesting to hear your comments on the two Motors. I have the same HD soft tour pack and love it. 👌 You're smiling and happy. That's all that matters here!
It was definitely the right decision. As you know it’s a quick sign up for the purchase but Pottsy had very much done his homework which I trusted entirely. The tour pack we have had for years from our previous Harley’s. I knew I kept for a reason 😂 Your next visit to Oz you will ride our complete garage 😂 Pottsy gets a bit more technical in Part #2 and I’m sure you will love that 😊
Thanks Pesky. Once Pottsy did his thinking it became an easy decision to return to a Harley tourer. The bmws although amazing and fun to ride, just became too high for Gary with no real solution to adjust. We tried everything. The RG so far has solved that problem. You will enjoy Part #2 coming soon as Pottsy will get a bit more technical on the RG and talks about the mods . Thanks for the support and friendship.
Guys that is a beautiful bike. Love how blacked out it looks in the body along with the highlights. That's a big trip to feel out long-haul two-up work, sounds like a great handler and the fact it was at a great price is icing on the cake. The opening was terrific, made me laugh and awesome editing.
Love the puzzle pieces! Road Glides are so popular! TommyG has toyed with the idea when he is done with his Ultra Limited (115th anniv edition)...it's a buffeting and windshield issue for him. Congratulations! Enjoy and be safe out there!
Congrats, guys. That's a stunning wheelbarrow. I can see you worked out what you really needed to be practical, stable, and comfortable. Good stuff. Ride well and enjoy. Cheers
Thanks mate. Appreciate the support. Really happy with our decision on purchase. First 1k kms has been a pleasure. We go a bit more technical in part #2 and talk more changes, accessories and what’s next so should be good 👍🏼
Thank you!! It’s been a great decision so far. As we say at the end it completes the picture for us. You will enjoy Part #2 coming soon where we get a bit more technical. Thankyou
Another convert to the mighty Road Glide, music to my ears. Great choice Pottsy. By the way, the stock bars do resemble a wheelbarrow 😂 Best we get you some Factory 47s for that beast.
@@KazoMoto Both very similar. Any reason why you pick Burley other than they are excellent and very cool looking. ( as are the Factory. 47s) Just curious?
I’ll take a look at Factory 47’s, I have used Burleigh Bars on 5 previous bikes, just love their bars, considering 12 inch reverse highballs from Burleigh
Beautiful bike!!! So much bang for your buck with the ST range!!!! I’m sure you will have a lot of fun for years to come… At the end of the day I just don’t get the shit slinging about fairings it’s the same bloody bike FFS 😂😂😂😂
The sexiest wheel barrow on the road.
We think so too. Thanks mate. It’s got great road presence 👍🏼
Great bike guys.. had mine for 6months... cant get enough of it... just did a nice ride qld to sydney via country roads...

Very nice color combo. Interesting take from Leanne’s perspective. Congratulations!

Ive got the Streetglide ST, the 117ci is awesome 👌🏻I didn’t think there would be much difference between the 114 and 117 but there is. Nice choice 👏🏼
Totally agree! There is big difference. The 117 is definitely the pick. Thanks for watching. It’s been an enjoyable ride so far.
Congrats 👏🏾 👏🏾.
