- In this video I show off my old school vintage Christmas decorations and neon lights. I have been collecting Blow Molds and Hong Kong made plastic figures, Artforms Die Cuts and Styrofoam store displays for years. I love the old fashion decorations from the 50's, 60's 70's and 80's. I have some very rare collectables in my collection.

love all your vintage decorations! I think it was so sweet and what a priceless treasure you have with the neon sign your dad made in '52 ...and no repairs wow that's amazing along with all the other beautiful ones...I love your blowmold items. they are all just out of this world, especially the nativity scene you bought at sears?? You just did your inside and outside perfectly. I loved the HUGE santa face. All the cute little plastics decor too was so memorable... bringing it all together was a wondrous sight. reminds me so much of my childhood. Those neon signs have held up well over the years! Vintage x-mas decorations have such character and personality to them! I collect old lights and ornaments, and good Lord, when you go down the rabbit hole of old x-mas decorations, it never ends! LOL! It also feels like you're keeping a part of the past alive for future generations to discover, and that's a good thing.

Man I had the whole santa and reindeer set when I was a kid. My grandmother would order a deer every Christmas from the Sears catalog, and we would go into town and pick it up at the Sears district drop off. They started cracking at the base after decades, and we donated them to GoodWill probably 25 years ago. No telling what they would be worth now . I hope someone is enjoying them somewhere :)

OH WOW! Love all your wonderful decor. So many memories! My first blow mold was the same as yours. It was 1968 and i was 11. Your displays are just wonderful and that neon is just over the top! I was asking because I am a big on celebrating christmas and I always loved and preferred the classic christmas lights because it's more Christmassy.
Yes, I buy mostly on eBay because that's the best place to find vintage decorations.

I been using old fashion incandescent christmas lights for so many years. I think very soon I am going to have to start ordering christmas lights online in order to have old fashion in the future. Since every store are beginning to sale more LED lights.
I love blow molds. Do you still find blow mold in stores in the United States? I have two Santa Claus blow molds, I bought them here in Brazil in 2004 and 2006, but they are very difficult to find...
I have three 1970s blow mold choir people. Two brown haired white men and black haired whites woman from the Poloron catalog.
I also have the blow mold nativity scene, minus the animals.

What way do you use to secure them? I can see thin wires. Just started collecting and was wanting to do something to lock them up.
They all have a fiberglass pole, that you can get at tractor supply, in the middle of them driven into the ground. You can cut the poles to fit the different height blow molds.
