- Falcon Performance Shocks is pleased to announce the addition of our new electronically adjustable piggyback shocks for the JL Wrangler. These shocks are available in two flavors: the programable 3.5 aDAPT e-Adjust Piggyback Shocks and the switch-adjustable 3.5 e-Adjust Piggyback Shocks.
Our innovative shocks bring more convenience and control to our popular line of adjustable piggyback shocks, which is sure to win over even the most hardcore Jeeper. These shocks also feature our SP2 Mode Adjust technology for even more handling and ride settings. Авто/Мото
Looking forward to seeing an Ecodiesel option and running them on my JL.
Very nice and versatile. I just got my Falcon 2.1 this week. I could not believe the ride difference in my JKU.
Wow! Impressive. Reminds me of modern adaptive suspension on some modern performance cars.
I just ordered them!
Awesome, congratulations!!
@@FalconPerformanceShocks Now they are installed and they exceeded my expectations
Can you guys do a video on off road/trail riding and rock crawling with this? I remember Teraflex's videos on the prerunner suspension a few years ago and that was awesome.
We will for sure be posting more videos down the road. Keep an eye out for their release.
Will you all be release a 3.5in shock for the JL?
I have the RSI Smart cap on my Gladiator. The weight causes a lot of body roll in the back. Will these or the 3.3 help or do I need heavier springs as well?
Right now with the Mopar lift it is like someone designed the front suspension and a different person designed the rear suspension and they never talked.
I had to take the shell off to go to the dealer and it was a pleasure to drive.
Either shock will help as you will be able to firm up the rear to help with compression and rebound be more stiff.
Please make these for the JK I have the 3 3s but want the 3.5s
I really like that set up, but I’m old fashion and I’m low-tech when it comes to electronics, do you have a separate system besides using a cell phone something that I can put in my jeep that controls it from there instead of my cell phone, I really hate using my cell phone, but I would like to get that set up, thanks for the good video
You can do the 3.5 aDapt shocks, they are electronic and you do not need your phone to make custom adjustments. We do also have the 3.3's which are adjustable with a knob on the front of the shock!
Version 3.6 will include Dennis to adjust them for you. Saving for that version right now.
😂
I'm about 75% convinced on this setup. Curious to know, is there any consideration in working with FCA in allowing the Falcon App to be installed on the OEM head unit so you do not have to use your phone? (I'll take 0.5% commission for the suggestion ;)
Haha, great idea. I don't think we are there yet who knows what the future may bring.
@@FalconPerformanceShocks Apple Car Play or Android Auto could be a nice addition!
Jk owner, what will be the estimated price point for this entire kit? Currently on the fence between these and a coil over set up.
They will be priced the same or very close to the JL setup that is currently on the website.
Im only seeing the aDAPT for the JL not the JT, but you mentioned its out for the JT. Are they the same?
They are currently out for the JT as well. teraflex.com/shop_items/5f503fdc78c14bf688afdc66
@@FalconPerformanceShocks fantastic!
Thank you. Will you be making a 3-4" version?
I'm really excited for this!!
3 questions...
1. I have the Carolina Metal Master mirror mounts where the switch would go on the upper part of the grab handle, can the switch be put on the lower part of the handle?
2. I have JL Audio amps under the driver and passenger seat, is there another location to mount the aDAPT control box?
3. Where can I buy the kit for my 2019 JLUR?! (11-04-35-400-200 )
- Thank you!
Unfortunately from us we are only going to offer the grab handle switch mount. We have not been able to test with those mirror mounts, but will not be able to be used in the top position.
The aDAPT control module can be mounted in any position, as long as it is mounted first and then the baseline is performed.
You can purchase the kit directly from us on our website, or directly from any dealer who is authorized to sell TeraFlex and Falcon shocks.
Please make these for the Tundra!
Just buy an American vehicle
Are the 3.5 shocks available for JKUs yet?
Not yet, hopefully soon!
Where can we find the other preset recommendations?
Give our team a call - 801-713-3314.
Do have this for 2018 jeep wrangler jk 4door coz ive dindnt saw it on ur website im interested of buying it for my jku thanks
They will be released for the JK and JKU early Q2 of next year.
@@FalconPerformanceShocks any news on when this will happen because I'm currently looking to upgrade my system with this setup if possible.
Any plans to offer these for the Ram 2500?
Engineers are working on more options for the future!
When can I try aDAPT on my JK Falcon 3.3s?
We are hoping for a Cartridge upgrade to follow later in Q4. It will be able to be used in any 3 series piggyback except the TJ.
@@FalconPerformanceShocks following for an update. Looking to get these for my 2015 JKU
When will these be available for the Jeep TJs?
There is no ETA at this time, maybe in the future!
Are these still coming to the jku?
They will be coming to the JKU in the future!
Besides the e-feature, are the shocks the same like the 3.3 SP2 series, or are they softer?
They are valved pretty much exactly like the 3.3 SP2 for the JL. At max firmness, they will be almost exactly the same as the 3 setting on the 3.3. Alternatively when in soft mode, they will be exactly like the 1 setting. Softness and firmness is subjective to the rider but we hope to have something for everyone.
@@FalconPerformanceShocks Thanks for the feedback. I am asking because I got the 3.3 SP2 shocks and find even the softest setting way too stiff.
That said, I am considering a 2dr re-valve for my 4dr JLUR. - I hope it will be softer and make a difference..
P.s. Are the 3.3 shocks upgradable to the 3.5 e-version? If yes, how much?
@@JensEser We will most likely follow the other cartridge pricing, which is compared to the 3.1 in the same version. I would expect to pay approx $700 for the 3.5 e-version upgrade cartridge once released. But final pricing has yet to be determined.
As for firmness, it will all be felt in the seat of the beholder, if that makes sense. Firm for you may feel soft to another. Running at 25 PSI, 17" rims, and 37" D rated tires will be wildly different than someone running 25 PSI, 20" rims, and 37" E rated tires.
If looking for an even softer ride you will start sacrificing performance a bit but it can be done. Give us a call anytime during the week and we can go into details and get you taken care of anytime. 801-713-3314 And thanks again for the support.
Do these work on the ecodiesel JL?
Not these specifically, we will be releasing a specific 3.5 for the diesel very soon.
@@FalconPerformanceShocks Awesome! Is there an email list I can get on to be notified when those are ready? Thanks.
Just keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram for the early release 🤘
Jk owners, (king Julian voice, HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE).👀
Don't worry JK 3.5's are in the works!
