@The Gacha Girl That is too much self-awareness for a 10 year old.
really appreciate that instead of just using my culture as an aesthetic by wearing bindis or mehendi like most artists today, they took the effort to properly incorporate the music and dance style into their own.
First I'd like to say that I like them a lot but they sorta butchered the lyrics part, the words are used in a weird way (should've involved an actual indian person in the process)
Apporv Kishlay i mean they're Japanese, they really can't pronounce some words the right way be cause of the wide gap between both languages
@@Eden19867 I'm not talking about the pronunciation, for eg accha isn't used in the context that they have used it in, plus a lot of it sounds more like arabic music than Indian

Indian metal - not just a culture grab, but authentic metal fusion. And the result? Simply, wonderfully, astounding! When Babymetal stated that they wanted to create a Metal Galaxy, they really meant it.
The fact that Babymetal took Bollywood music, made it Japanese, and then made it metal fascinates me
People here are appreciating Babymetal for incorporating Indian inspired music into their song, some other fandoms would've called this "cultural appropriation" and disrespectful. Im glad at least you people enjoy some good music and aren't some stuck up people.
Are people out there that really thinks this is cultural appropriation?. Lmao!
this isn't cultural appropriation because they actually used the Indian influence not as an aesthetic but as an appreciation.
It's not appropriation if you use the style properly. I'm Indian and proud of the girls
This really wouldn't happen to you of you took the two seconds it takes to find out what cultural appropriation is.

Before Anyone Wastes Time Asking, I Type Like This Cause Of OCD👌
Su-metal's pipes at 2:16 give me the chills! This girl can seriously sing! 🥰
I just discovered BABYMETAL 3 hours ago. It is not 2:44am and I’ve listed to the same two songs idk how many times and this is the third. I can’t stop.
Welcome to the rabbit hole. Enjoy!

FreddyYUL Right!
ikr , discovered babymetal last week and my top 5 bands
Welcome to the club.
I did that too, but some musics I didn't enjoy that much. I can share my playlist if ya want. I listen to it at work
Su's voice has become so impressively versatile! Love the mix on this one, now that I can finally hear the official audio.
I know right, elevator girl in English, the mixers made her voice so auto tuned
@@fazsum41 I'm more upset at the fact that they've all but removed the original Japanese version from all streaming sources, including the final mix for the album. Like, the song is good but the English lyrics really feel forced as opposed to the Japanese
@@lukesomerville6603 So glad i've downloaded the Japanese version, in time...
I like moa
@@lukesomerville6603 that's good marketing if you ask me! Most average consumers that pick up the album as new fans may prefer to hear more english if they're from the states. That gives megafans incentive to pick up the japanese release in addition to the exclusive bonus tracks. Japan still has a huge CD market, so theyre making as much money as they can, and appealing to their international fame
this band is awesome live, go see them if you can. they're not just a studio band
Yup i got shanthi after listeing to Su metal and seeing moa metal dance 😌🥰🥰🥰🥰
