Singing in English is more of a technique. Just memorizing the words and inflections. It's a lot different when you have to translate your thoughts from your native language to a foreign language and speak at the same time.

“Going to hell, yeah” is such a clever little use of the original “Hell yeah!” and incorporating it into the lyrics while also having it still be the exclamation the way the original intended
It's like if bubblegum pop and heavy metal had a baby... The guitar, drums, bass are shockingly really fucknig good. And then the cutesy voices and choreography kick in. I actually really like it.

The video is clips from a live concert from the latest tour, maybe several, with effects added to make it more than just a montage while the audio is the studio version of the English version of the song. They do not lip sync anymore, that stopped nearly three years ago and was only Moa-Metal and Yui at that point. Su-Metal has been completely live except for her harmony track for years.

Sure, they've got a heavy accent and still have problems with L sounds since their native tongue doesn't really have them, but she DOES speak English.
I think this really proves how much Su loves her international fans...she was never under any obligation to ever learn any English and yet she did so she could interact with her non Japanese fans and this song kind of is the pinnacle of that, I hope she does more English songs in the future. Also just saying listening to her singing this and then hearing when she sang painkiller and breaking the law a few years backs Su has gotten so good at speaking English and Moa is getting better to
I agree, but to be fair a lot of the song was already in English. I think that we probably just got used to the original too much. I think the bigger thing for me is that the new chorus doesn't quite fit in the mix, like as if it was mixed by someone else, with different processing, or even if it was mixed separately and just slotted in as a separate part at the mastering stage. Someone dropped the ball on that one.

Just like with THE ONE, both versions are great. I'm used to the Japanese version since I've spent over a year listening to it and I think its lyrics has a better rhythm-n-flow, but I know the English version will grow on me.

I just watched Gimme Chocolate yesterday, and I unexpectedly found myself tearing up and laughing. I forgot how much I love that song and video. Cool to see more new music though. I'm digging it.
I love their songs no matter what language it's in. The whole band is amazing. They did asome. I could not stop getting hyped and pumped up, they were amazing. I am a big fan now after watching and listening to the first music video I've seen by BABYMETAL on youtube, I love all of their songs already and they're now definitely are one of my top favorite bands, they are incredible.
Imagine this - Yamaide Aiko doing a guest piano performance for "No Rain, No Rainbow". Maybe they could give her a cool, one of a kind Kami Mask (or a headdress, so we can see her face).
These girls (and band) are nothing short of AMAZING! Absolutely love them & can’t wait to see them live. They make me smile every time I listen to them. Su is our Queen & Moa is our Princess. We have watched, as you’ve grown into gorgeous young ladies. I personally prefer the Japanese version, but thank you for giving us an English version. That being said PLEASE don’t stray from your Japanese roots. We love you singing in Japanese, and that’s half the appeal. To me anyway. I’m seeing Babymetal Sept. 4th and I’m SO excited! It’ll be my first time seeing the girls! Love this song - it’s absolutely fantastic in English or in Japanese.
I have been torn ever since they announced coming to get a ticket given it was a workweek and I am over in Melbourne...now I guess I am okay with me deciding not to get the ticket given it will no doubt be cancelled, and even if not, I gotta be here dealing with pets and family with the hurricane. Awesome band, its strange to think that although they appear to be young japanese girls they are actually made from an extraordinarily high grade and indestructible metal in service to the Fox God. Just like with THE ONE, both versions are great. I'm used to the Japanese version since I've spent over a year listening to it and I think its lyrics has a better rhythm-n-flow, but I know the English version will grow on me.

At first as I was skeptical. It’s five in the morning here and I’m still watching their videos. IM HOOKED!!
I love their songs no matter what language it's in. The whole band is amazing. They did asome. I could not stop getting hyped and pumped up, they were amazing. I am a big fan now after watching and listening to the first music video I've seen by BABYMETAL on youtube, I love all of their songs already and they're now definitely are one of my top favorite bands, they are incredible.

These girls (and band) are nothing short of AMAZING! Absolutely love them & can’t wait to see them live. They make me smile every time I listen to them. Su is our Queen & Moa is our Princess. We have watched, as you’ve grown into gorgeous young ladies. I personally prefer the Japanese version, but thank you for giving us an English version. That being said PLEASE don’t stray from your Japanese roots. We love you singing in Japanese, and that’s half the appeal. To me anyway.
On a side note, I wish they’d take the masks of the kami band too!

残念ながらバンドを脱退したyuimetal、moametalは10～11歳から、su-metalでさえ12～13歳から、そして、今ではもうちょっとしたらバンド結成9周年となる。
なかなかいないですよ、周りに小学生と中一からメタル・ロックがあったというのは。
しかも、仕事をしていたのでその道の一流どころと交流を持てたり、お勉強できる
（今後も含めて考えるとキャリア形成の点で）恵まれた環境にあるのは、
世界中探しても、まーないでしょうね。

Awesome band, its strange to think that although they appear to be young japanese girls they are actually made from an extraordinarily high grade and indestructible metal in service to the Fox God. I once saw MoaMetal walk through a brick wall by accident because she was distracted buy Su-Metal's hair. Honest mistake really anyone could of made it
