im 20, and last december, i got diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both my hands, before i got diagnosed with it i would always notice my hands falling asleep, than later on at night i couldn’t sleep because of the pain my hands were in, it felt like they were asleep but getting poked my nails, i had to quit my job because i couldn’t get any sleep, than i went to the hospital and the doctor were even shocked because of how young i was to have it, idk how i got it, possibly from playing football, i was in a real bad situation, i couldn’t get surgery cause of no insurance, so i had to get cast for my wrist, i only use them when i sleep. i wouldn’t wish this on anyone, god bless

This is really helpful, thanks! I injured my wrist two years ago and it's never fully healed, and after a variety of different scans over the years, it's been suggested that I might have CTS (is hard to tell though because it's not showing up on the scans (which it should), but I did some other tests that indicate that it could be this).

its 4am now and im awaked cause of the pain,,,im doing paint job 2 days straight,,and now all i feel is pain,,,the pain woke me up
I just started to learn how to play golf for three month to get back in shape as well as to manage my diabetes and now i think i got CTS in both my hand probably because for three month I've been hitting like 600-800 golf balls everyday at the driving range.. I also think for 12+ years working using the keyboard also making me more prone to CTS thus it got worse when i started golf as a sport.. I wish i could recover from this condition without any surgery though..

Can you feel numbness in the pinky? I went in for tingling pain and numbness in the pinky and ring finger on the right hand when I was diagnosed
My carpal tunnel was caused by inflammation of the body. Clue: it effected both wrists. Went to surgery seminar but luckily changed my diet, inflammation of the body went away and surprisingly my carpal tunnel disappeared.
I did an elimination diet.

I used an all meat diet. Carnivore diet. You can easily research that. And I heard FODMAP(?) diet works too.

I started with fasting, then found keto, and then carnivore.
Best thing I have ever done for my health. My doctor was killing my health with medications. Three diabetes, BP, and statin. I had had enough, dump meds in trash and started fasting every weekend. 9th week found keto. Inflammation was way down after two or three months in.
After about a year went carnivore. Much easier and simpler.

Wow this was very descriptive for me and now I question if I have CT. The last two weeks I been using a computer mouse heavily let alone texting on my cell phone so I wonderful if I over worked the area and maybe should rest my hand.

Can you see CTS on an MRI scan? I had one 2 months ago and the doctor saw an inflamed tendon and a cyst on the carpal bones on both of my hands, but in the left one(im left handed) i feel the 1st 3 fingers tingling quite often throughout the day.

8:40 - that’s how they recently figured out that I had carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand. I’ve experienced the painful hand / wrist jerks and freezes for about 7 years now roughly and usually I thought it was due to hydration. But I work all day on a keyboard in the IT field , I jammed my wrist in my early teens as a kid , tore ligaments in my lower portion of my thumb as a child and jammed my ring finger all on the same hand through out my life so it all makes sense in my situation

Im concerned atm ive been carrying shopping home walking to a shop and back home i dont have a car but now since ive done this last thursdday i was in pain at night i could not sleep
I'm suffering from this, from past 2 months it was gone but now from 2-3 days it's again started. Tomorrow have appointment with neurologist.
I seriously pray to god may nobody go through pain, like its been a half hour i was crying like hell... Put my hand in hot water with 1-2 pinch of salt, then after drying my hand, i put an ayurvedic oil for pain relief. Took 1 ultracet tablet. Now pain is okay, guys seriously the pain at night in under the thumb over the palm area and the swelling... All things are enough to feel like a hell on earth. 😥😥😪😭😭😭sometimes feel like just smashed this fucking hand. But u can't..
I got this after working as a housekeeper my husband stayed in a c or O shape for weeks. Now I can’t shake my arm without feeling a numb or tingling feeling

@@Leo_949 I suggest getting a brace and getting a Doctors note so you will be allowed to wear and have it documented just Incase. I suggest where a when you are working and put a glove like u see in the restaurant or dish gloves to keep water out.

As the swelling gets worse in the night...swelling >>>compression of nerve
Does epilepsy trigger this in people? Cuz for me i think my seizures might have caused me to have this. Im not sure but i think its a possibility.

I felt pain on my left wrist as i woke up at the 3rd semester of pregnancy, i used to think it's due to sleep position. but, a month later i felt the same.
i have read some articles, pregnancy has something to do with it.

Apparently someone experiencing this during pregnancy is the most likely to have it resolve on it own.
I seems to have got this during my third trimester as well, post delivery 3 months still have it. Its like funny numb sensation in the fingers. I am hoping it will go gradually ...
probably related to hormonal changes which can do all kinds of crazy things to the body! get checked out, tho!

I would cut down the days you go weightlifting to give your body a break. You may be over doing it.
If so, unless your training session lasts over an hour, which causes fatigue thus reduces your overall recovery quality, then it just means that you've poor practices and habits that chronically stress yourself out, not the weightlifting.
Do you get pain in your elbows??? If so it's tendonitis.

Obesity! So many problems from this. I gained a bunch of weight and the symptoms got so much worse. Lost all that weight and it was basically gone. Got sick, gained it back. And suffering non stop with nerve pain again. It's the fat.
