Not often we see a video in which the vehicle is made quieter. Love that truck though. Owner loves and takes pride in it obviously.
Actually there are quite a few videos here where the customer came back to make it quieter.
I drive one of these trucks with the 460 sometimes. It has a y pipe but no chambers no cats. It is loud af.

Damn clean truck. These trucks with the 460 is pretty rare but a 460 with a 5 speed is like seeing a unicorn and bigfoot at the same time.

Probably could've added a tailpipe to the Super 10 and it'd be quiet enough. That giant stock cat keeps it mild, you could have no muffler and it still wouldn't be very loud.

It was extremely rare to see a 460 in this configuration. Usually the 250 in that setup with a regular cab & long bed Usually came with a 351 or diesel
I bought mine for 350 bucks and all it needed was a new battery and fluid change

With this exhaust setup it sounds a lot like a factory 302 fox body.

Fords usually aren’t my first pick but this is one awesome truck I would be proud to drive. That’s an awesome special order. 460 big block 4x4! Love single cab long beds I got a 6 liter 04 Chevy 2500HD
I got 2 2,5" Pipes and Cherrybombs on the 460. They sound amazing 👌🏼👌🏼
I have that same truck the only difference is mine is a heavy duty and has more rust on it but it's not too badly rusty like my dad's F-250 his is a piece with a 351 Windsor while mine has a 460 but it's a short cab and it's in white and the best part about it is it doesn't have a Cadillac converter

Ive got a 90 f250 either the 351 thats crazy loud. How is it driving around town and the highway with the super 44. From this video it doesnt seem too loud at all but still sounds cool.

My dad ownes an 88 F20 same engine but he cut the end after the cat so the exhause goes to the cat then its just open after the cat and its loud, but we love it

Some assclown tried to steal the catalytic converter on my '90 F250 but thwy only cut off the air pumo inlets to the cat and dicked up some hangers. At this point, I think I'm just going to ditch the air pump system, and the stock injection and probably add long tube headers and build it out. Sorta want to keep it a single exhaust after the cat. Otherwise, it will be dualle with an X pipe and pre axle dump with some better flowing and sounding mufflers. Then the 460efiguys injection systwm will go in which will make adding oil to the engine a cleaner proposition as the air filter box tubing is just completely in the way.

I have this same truck and my tail pipe rotted off so it's just straight from that cat it's really not that loud at all has a low rumble almost sounds like a diesel starting up

No tachometer? With a loaded f250 460 5-speed? I'm wondering if this is really a beefed up F-150.
Only the 7.3’s had tachs after 91
It wasn't nearly as common when this truck was made for them to have tachometers ''even with manual transmissions''. It was an option but not found terribly often in these older trucks.
