- I was at the Samsung BESPOKE AI Home event that was held in Mumbai during the first week of April 2024 where Samsung showcases a bunch of Home appliances like Smart AC, Fridges, Washing Machines and Microwave that are not only smart devices but are also AI enabled and I also had the opportunity to interact with Mr Dipesh Shah from Samsung R&D to get an better understanding of this new Bespoke Home AI Connected devices.

@@Abishek_1988 This world has been essentially free, because of the freemium model. If an ad comes, why are so bothered by it? Either buy the premium or just shut up and watch the ad.
Millions of students watch hours educational content for , because they watch few 30 seconds ads. Every useful application is also free by these models.
Only a fool will complain about ads, who is easily influenced by this ads. Otherwise they are 30 seconds clips that are similar to what we watch on social media reels.

Two practical uses I see from the video:
1) Self service maintenance status of the device
2) AC adjusts itself to the size of the room and number of people present
Other than the above, I think smart AI connectivity may be overdone
It's nothing but the Samsung ecosystem. But what's even more interesting is that setting a microoven which recipe to cook through a fridge 😮 wow.
but it can't send items to microwave so what's the point,😂

so, it's basically a phone with refrigerator? has display, camera, internet etc...
Energy saving and Water Consumption saving is very good and needed use cases.
But do we really need camera to see what you have inside the fridge and on basis of it do internet search? How much difficult it is for someone to open the fridge door and see what is there inside and how much time it take for us to search dishes on it on phone or specially when people also have devices like Alexa, Google Home etc.

Samsung is always way ahead in terms of innovation.. may be we don't need these features today but samy knows well that AI is all future that we r going to have
@@xonm247 maybe. Some people are gear enthusiats and want every aspect of their life automated.
But I wouldn't call this innovation by any stretch, its rather application of existing technology. Innovation in tech would mean they built something new. Computer vision and marrying multiple systems together using software is not new or unheard of.
@@xonm247I think it is not innovation but saturation. Innovation is something pathbreaking, here this is trying to solve a problem which doesn't bother people, and trying to promote and sell it as a useful thing or even a necessity which is just feeding the deadly cycle of consumerism and works on capitalist market forces in search for ever increasing profits and endless growth, not concerned about you or me.
It is not the users problem that Samsung is trying to solve, it is the Samsung's own problem they are trying to solve. They want to become more relevant, capture more revenue and trap people into conveniences of life and create an ecosystem like Apple and not become like Motorola and Nokia (Once great now a nostalgia)

Till day Phone is under their control, with what ever we speak generally the advertisement will be came in FB, YT etc.. Now every home going under their control..
It won't make life easier but Tuff to control AI under our control..

Unnecessary implementation of AI
I prefer a simple way of life and doing things, with limited and selective use of technology in life. I am a technical person but not a heavy gadgetry consumerist. Or consumer of other things for that matter. One doesn't need all this to be happy and healthy and such excessive integration of technology makes life unnecessary complex and troublesome. Also takes away one's independence and self reliance. Using Tesla's electric moter for taking up heavy mechanical work was a welcome. Using AI to shut off one's mind and alter one's though process is not welcome, and it is not the same thing as the former.
This path of excessive obscene materialism is not only not sustainable but also a sure way to misery, not just misery on physical plane (contrary to prosperity) but also mental and spiritual misery, including one's health which adding more science and technology cannot fix.

The refrigerator example is poor. Who keeps all the items with the labels facing forward like a supermarket shelf. In an Indian household, we keep most of the items wherever they fit and in non labelled boxes. This tech is 10 years from actually being useful and is only currently for the affluent.

I am a great admirer of your product review style. I would like to bring to your attention a potential issue with Samsung's software updates. It appears that when a new phone model is released, Samsung may intentionally introduce battery drain, heating issues, and other minor problems through software updates on older devices. This could encourage users to upgrade to the newer model, which could be seen as a deceptive practice. I would appreciate it if you could highlught this and bring it to light. Thank you for your attention to this important issue.

Everyone is just hopping on the AI bandwagon now.
There have been even instances of some companies as promoting their products as doing some magical things using AI, but at the end everything came as false, raising millions in the process.
At this point, I feel that it is just too much of the AI buzzword around me.
First give a charger with your phone. Devils giving Ai to drink ur data.
Useless features, anyone who brings grociers and cooks food knows whats inside the fridge and what is not, I always ask my mother I'm hungry what can I eat and she replies better then an AI fridge.
Put everything on AI however useless it makes it just because of the Hype
