- The world heritage listed Albula Railway. With it's 55 bridges and 39 tunnels, it is one of the most spectacular narrow gauge railways in the world. The centerpiece is the 5866m long Albula tunnel, which at 1820m above sea level, is the second highest alpine tunnel in Switzerland.

Wonderful! I’ve ridden this route myself, and I stopped in Filisur to hike to a view of the Landwasser viadukt. My own photo of it is one of my screen saver pictures now. I then hiked down from trackside to the stream bed and took photos of the viadukt looking up from the water. I’ll never forget that trip and I’m in ecstasy now seeing it again in this marvelous video!

wieder mal eine wunderschöne Fahrt, vielen Dank!!! Es fällt immer wieder auf, an wievielen Stellen im Netz gebaut wird, um den Bahnverkehr sicherzustellen und zu verbessern (neue Doppelspurabschnitte, Tunnelrenovierung, Bahnhofsumbauten usw.), die RhB ist da wirklich vorn dabei 🙂

If I was the driver, I wouldn't allow any car pass me by😁Yea. But why do I always think of racing whenever trains meet cars in parallel? But I think it is normal as we see several movie scenes that when a red light stopes cars, two drivers in parallel get into racing mode. So I think it is normal 😁

The expected landslide @lorirocks777 mentions at 44:57 took place in June of 2023. Thankfully the slide missed the village of Brienz and no one was injured; only a few buildings were damaged.

@@lorirocks777 Sometimes a video can be improved by reshooting at a different time of year or even a different time of day. For example, this video had glare problems because of the sun's angle.

It's very intriguing seeing train service from another country. The scenery is beautiful, and towards the end it shows a great deal of snow, which leads me to believe that this is your winter season, while here in the USA we still now towards the end of September still run our air conditioners.

La perfección como país
I was there little more than week ago with my family and the views were absolutely amazing! We rode (rhb) in 2 parts, first from Tirano to St Moritz and the next day from there to Chur. What I loved most about the journeys besides views were panorama carriages that had fully openable windows. We had great time taking pictures and videos from those! I had the courage to stick my phone out all the time, my mom not so much :`)
I do have a short clip on my channel of the Brusio spiral railway that's very close to Tirano. In that video you can also see 2 train spotters on the left corner for a brief moment.

Der Zug fährt erst in 5 Minuten weiter. In der Zwischenzeit kaufe ich mir schnell a Brotzeit in der Bahnhofsbäckerei. ------------------------ _(8 Minuten später)_ ------------------------- Entschuldigung daß jetzt 3 Minuten länger gedauert hat als geplant. Ich hab an der Theke anstehen müssen, denn vor mir stand eine Frau, die nicht wusste was sie wollte, ob sie nun eine Leberkaassemmel mit einem Leberkäse *auf* der Semmel haben will, oder den Leberkäse *unter* der Semmel haben will. Nach einiger Debatte hatte sie sich dann doch für eine Tafel Schokolade entschlossen, bis es ihr dann einfiel, daß sie ihr Geld zu Hause vergessen hatte.
