Wow! What a delightful way to reengage with your channel, thank you - it keeps being said but you have a knack of posting historically relevant pieces - it was a joy to see the Waldenburgerbahn going over the hump through the bridge south of Liestal one last time - my first K&F map of central Switzerland was printed just before the Eriswil line closed and this is the first time I've seen it mentioned on anyone's clips of the former VHB area - your arrival in Luzern is in a less visited area - trust all your colleagues valued the journey as much as your viewers do - thanks again \m/

Seeing it in it's current state, it's hard to imagine the mess of manual switches, with a signal departure signal for multiple tracks that it once was.

Apart the really scenic route (it's been true to your words!) what I really like is how many activities are located nearby the railway, or connected to it. Most of the seem still usable, if not really used. It's a good thing, IMHO. Thanks lorirocks777 for another great video!
Yes, many large companies in Switzerland, like supermarket chains etc, still use the train for their logistics. And as you noticed, may companies that are located next to a railway line still have a connection. Not all are used anymore (on this video there were several where the switch was removed already), but a lot of them are.
From Brisbane Australia. Fantastic trip through gorgeous scenery. I am impressed the surveyors managed only 30mm deviance over 2495m from both ends of the Hauenstein Tunnel. No GPS in those days!
