It’s pretty cool to watch him separate the stuff with that machine. I’m sure that’s not easy. It looks like he does a good job at it. I’m guessing that job was easily in the six figures to do?
I love demo videos and watching heavy equipment pick up giant things, making those things appear so tiny 😅 My house flooded in Ian, so I got to see the stuff from my house being picked up by the FEMA truck claws and loaded into their giant dumpster trucks 🎉 Keep up the great work, guys!
Amazing to watch your guys work those big machines like a choreographed dance. Love the fun ideas you have to take down these houses. Bottom line love what you do. Thanks for sharing. ❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂🤣
Here in Las Vegas they re in the process of demolishing the Tropicana resort. First job is knocking down the 1950's era low rise hotel rooms, the casino and ancillary structures. The two towers, they are also in the process of clearing everything out of the inside using bobcat type machines to plow through each floor and then pushing the debris onto the ground. Seems that a good bit of furniture was just left in the rooms and on the low rise, even the patio furniture remains during the demolition. Hard to say where all that debris will go. Everything is being stripped to the bare bones until the two towers are imploded this fall. All this to clear the lot so that the Oakland A's can start construction of the stadium next spring. Demo work is quite interesting.
what would the cost to the customer be for a tear down for this project. Sounds like you underbid the job because you made mention that it was a bigger job then you had expected. With that in mind, what would the industry, (maybe not what you charged) average charge for this job?
We did not know it was build this good...we will make money just not what we had hoped. The size of the rebar and the hardness of the footers, burned time we normally don't have to burn. Can't hit them out of the park every time sometimes you get a single......lol
Up here we call it recycling crush concrete and machine has magnets to retrieve rebar have a couple dumpster to put rebar in to take to salvage yard them pieces of concrete we could run through are machine and the footings up here they use groat for strength don't know about down there but use groat in bridge pillars pour in wet and it dryers do you know how long clean up will take depends on how everything goes i guess be safe guys thanks Dave 18:18
Hey what's the chance of seeing your Transfer Stations or landfill operations. Concrete strength comes in two ways 1) silica content, amt. Per mix, spec mix and air entrained during pour. That's all college talking there.
If you want some insight into what happens to the C&D, Mr. Digg operates a huge landfill up in Georgia. They recycle a lot of it, too. ruclips.net/video/iIimjDrtvyo/видео.htmlsi=K2ILLOGUA0hCcRGa
I remember going to this buildng many times when Doc Kagan was here. Fun trivia: there are two other buildings in Fort Myers of this design. 8191 College Pkwy is the same structure with a flat roof and enclosed hallway.
I hear excavator operator pay in Florida is a lot lower than most other states. I'm referencing new water, sewer, and drainage pipe installation, not demo. How much is average pay for demo an hour?
So....................what spirit activity have you encountered in these buildings during a walk- through. I have had 100's. It's a shame, we didn't have the Cell Phones we have now. Back then it was the chirping Nextel or a personal Flip phone.
Is it not more profitable to take CLEAN rebar to the dump, surely mixed in with the concrete the tonnage price per $ is going to be less, I've done lots of " munching" as we call it here in the UK, ( pulverising the concrete) and it's mind numbing and S L O W , but perhaps you have time constraints, ie, get onto the next job where you can recoup losses on this 1 ? When's the next weigh in , I'm salivating 😅😅😅😅
Hey brother would you be open to a FaceTime video call? I have a demo / junk removal company in college station Texas and I’m wanting to get more into commercial demo vs residential.
Thats better my man, still not as good as 0 subtitles, but its your channel so you can tell me to " go forth and multiply" if you wish 🤭 i must admit i researched the top 10 youtubers and not 1 of them used subtitles, i think your RUclips coach was trying to justify your fee by suggesting subtitles, but hey ho, everyone has to make a profit somewhere along the line, i really cant fault your channel, it's even in the best format of 4k, my advice, cancel that subscription, hes charging you for lessons you dont need, excellent channel, great bunch of employees, and the boss listens, what a rare delightful company, got any vacancies ?
Demo is the worst for plugging radiators and filters! A friend sold his excavator to a demo guy, and warned him about blowing out the rads frequently. He ignored the advice and burned up a perfectly good engine! 💲💲💲💲
I love how proud your guys are to work for you. That’s a great sign of a good employer.
We have a great group of guys and a productive work culture......
@@removeitprosdemolitionthat just show you are a decent guy Dave treat people right 1:48
Great operator. Thanks for the video.
Taught very young and is conscious of the things that help us to be able to be competitive and make a profit like separating things.....

Just shy of $200K
That's a crazy project
High reach machine still technically 20 feet to short.
I enjoyed this video. Greetings and love from California.
Our Editor is from California, he is awesome!!
Love your videos! Keep up the good work!😊😊

watched a few of your vids now absolutley love em great commentry thanks for sharing your challenges with us 👍👍
Thank you for the comment....
Have to start selling the debris for re-use - instead of paying to dispose! Those slabs would make a good retaining wall.
🙂

That sounds fascinating.
Cement Companies are the same up here in Michigan. No re-bar or any garbage. Up here they grind it down for number one Black top.
Yep!! Thanks for watching.

Nice you started at the back of the building. Limiting dust and disturbance for the adjoining businesses. It's a big building, lots of debris.
Thanks for watching.....
Was this a condo or office building
Office building...

Would you ever add the business side of it? Numbers and or P & L??
Working on that building a staff right now I got a lot to say not enough editors......or time.
@@removeitprosdemolition maybe there’s someone local. Put the ad out on a video. See what sticks. Never hurts
I bet they added ash with the cement makes it harder
After this we took out a pool on the beach and it was unreal too!!

Its was on office building?
@@removeitprosdemolition It was called the Florida medical one building.
@@robertmoore15 Is that right?
Where do you guys take your concrete?
Different places a place in Cape Coral, currently usually the closest place.

We pay more than most companies, we have a standard and high expectations.....$25 to $30
Your crew needed to demo Sepio’s toy dinosaur. Sorry, Sepio! 😂
Love that you impersonate Miley...like a wrecking ball. Such a sport..love all your videos❤
My wifes idea......there is more of that coming....lol
Didn't want that building to float or fly away.
We underestimated that one, gonna make a little but not near what we should have......can't win them all.

Like the snappy music…
Me to!
That's actually a standard excavator. Nothing high reach about its configuration.
It reached 10 feet higher than ours....
@removeitprosdemolition that's because it's bigger not because it's a "high" reach SMH. You own the company???
Noted.....I'm old sometimes when I talk on my feet I mean one thing say another.......I'm just learning as I go.
Hey, you can buy a four foot compressed air nozzle, get away from that dust, bro!! blowing out the radiators,,,
Not sure what you mean???
@@removeitprosdemolition. Likely a long metal pipe with an air chuck on one end and a nozzle on the other.
