I think that there is also one other thing: that one scene where Lila is in the art class with Sabine and Nadia is there, she says Sabine is like a mother to her in front of everyone. If Lila actually is Manon then, she just passive aggressively insulted her own mom right in front of her. Not that I truly believe this theory but I saw someone use that as evidence.

@@MatsuyoRific Time Tagger's age is hard to tell some have suggested he's 16 or 19 though so if Lila was his love interest (and not Manon) then the age gap would be 5 to 7 years and she'd be in her 20's if Manon is the same age as Chris and is that time's Hawkmoth (not Lila) then there is no issue with an age gap. But not I don't think we need a Juliet card situation in Miraculous.

They could be sisters, when the reporter (i forget her name sue me) was a teen maybe she got pregnant and gave up the baby, then later on when ready had manon. The 3 moms could be 3 of her foster moms throughout the years that she comes back to. It would make sense why she felt she had to lie to as maybe she felt she had to be perfect in order to be loved, or lie to do so.
August's Mom is seen multiple times in the same scene so much so that there is a joke to suggest they are triplets. For example she gets saved from a bus hitting her and also gets off the same bus as one of the passengers. & Glaciator hits (at least) 2 couples with August's Mom's design but different men. That said in Season 5 the same Asian Woman model is sense more than once when Marinette is running around in a dress crying too.
I suspect they fiudged the heck out of Cat Blanc as they didn't want you to notice they just killed the main character and replaced her with a duplicate (arguably not for the 1st time see "Two Ladybugs"). We actually see the Ladybug who died DIE twice even once when Hawkmoth kills her and once when the Ladybug's erase her. There is no indication either that one Marinette shares both memories no one is just "killed" outright by the Ladybugs or so it seems. If they were being merged then both would be destroyed and a 3rd one would be standing between where they were afterwards. & Cat Blanc still was the person with the same memories after the Moon was fixed. So it does seem like outright killing them is the only way out of it all. "Let the Past Die, Kill it if you have to" as Kylo Ren said.
I think it would make sense how Lila knew about the wish in re creation if she really is Manon that she had already experienced the wish happening and knew that for the wish to happen monarch would need to get the miraculous so she probably figure that he’d be fight bugnoir and as soon he’ll get the miraculous he’ll use the wish so she’d plan everything to get the butterfly miraculous (Idk how she would know that he used the wish but she’ll probably find out or ladybug confesses her deafeat against monarch and Kiki would put together)

This theory would be very messed up, if true, but very interesting. I was skeptical about the Adrien Sentimonster theory as soon as I heard about it but it turned out to be true so anything is possible lol. This Lila/Manon theory almost reminds me of the Chibiusa/Black Lady subplot from Sailor Moon (in a good way lol). But Chibiusa was brainwashed in that story so it makes sense. Perhaps they cut the line about his love out as it is a big clue. Lila and Manon can both be a Butterfly holder, or Lila can loose it to someone before she even has a chance to Transform once.
Keep in mind this is a show that lead us to believe that Lukanette and Adrigami would be a thing and we got Adrienette and Feligami not long after. & Ladynoir just flat out died.

I think this will go on the direction of the senti theory; the writers took this idea from the fandom, it didn't have much evidence before the theorising started. They may pick up on this and write it into the show.
What is really funny is that Thomas (the director) says that people who write fanfics on Miraculous will never make it film but they steal their ideas lol
18:17 I actually don't think that's a problem. Just because sometimes they don't change the past doesn't mean it can't be changed. It could be a loop that didn't exist by default but was put into motion. Maybe in Evolution when Ladybug and Chat Noir see themselves they already aren't in the original timeline. Maybe in the original timeline they didn't see themselves but later were seen by their past versions. And the way they changed the past accidentally somehow caused it to keep happening as a loop. And I think this logic could apply to any time they time travel, which would explain why they sometimes appear to use Novikov loops and sometimes do not. At least I think that makes sense, though I'm by no means an expert at time travel logic so feel free to correct me.
Some people think Manon or Lila is Marinette's Daughter too (for some reason). That would be a laugh wouldn't it if Lila was "Emma Agreste" but I don't think that is very likely as Lila actually looks Italian and if she was Adrien and Marinette's daughter she'd be a big old retrograde as yes both Adrien and Marinette have Italian ancestors so it isn't "impossible" as such just genetically VERY unlikely. Adrien is half English and an unknown amount of Italian as we have no idea who Gabriel's Mom was (if such things matter for a magically crafted being). but lets say BOTH of Gabriel's parents were Italian then Adrien would be 50% Italian and not French at all. Marinette mean while is 1/4 Italian. (there is also a slight suggestion that Marinette's deeper ancestors were not all Chinese to result in Sabine having Grey eyes). I will be interested to see if Cerise Verde calls herself Italian or something else when we see here next year.

I think the idea is Marinette becomes another Gabriel and neglects her kids and so the child goes back and sees why, now perhaps they were akumatised or otherwise effected and don't know they are Marinette's Daughter but has a lot of resentment of her... I think that is the idea. i don't think it's canon compliant I think it is just a fun idea that a few people have mentioned before as a possible what if. Having a character from the future does allow a get out of jail free cart for a possible show reset though perhaps.
Well the chap in the grey shirt (middle right) is Jean Dupac (aka the Magician of Misfortune) I also think some of the others have names but they are not spoken in Dialogue. The Blonde is called Sarah and the Redhead Margret but they didn't use the name as both those names are also used for other characters and the girl in the front row (sitting next to Mirelle) I think is called something like Roxanne or Raquel. There may be more than that though. But like I said none of those names are on screen uses and are either from script pages or staff remarks etc.. But Jean is an actual character with a name and appearance & an Akuma form even. Talking about freeky looking Generics... look at that gothic girl by the fountain in Mega leech "she haunts my nightmares! "
So these people made even you to make a Manon is lila theory. This is the most ridiculous, utterly ridiculous theory in my opinion. Sorry if it offended anyone. My opinion.
While it's interesting in theory, I find it unlikely that "Lila" is a future version of Manon. For one, Lila has too much animosity towards Ladybug/Marinette for it to be considered sane at this point. With Manon, no matter how many times she felt hurt by Marinette although it was unintentional, she's never had any reason to hate Marinette or want her dead. Even if Manon became a very hormonally temperamental teenager, I don't think she can bring herself to want Marinette dead or to suffer. Second, if Lila was a future version of Manon, she wouldn't need to trick 3+ women into thinking she's their daughter when she could just convince her real mother, Nadja. Lila could just sway Nadja, who has no idea that Lila is an older Manon, to adopt her to become her younger self's big sister which would give Lila the opportunity to groomanon into the version of herself Lila wanted. So Lila tricking three women would be pointless. Plus, the only connection to Lila tricking women to be her "mother" and her hate for Ladybug|Marinette all tracing back to Manon is if there was an akuma or someone who killed Nadja and Ladybug's Miracle Cure didn't come through thus leaving Manon completely crushed and let down by Ladybug which festers into hatred. If that happened, Lila would gone to Nadja first who she would have longed to see. However, that didn't happen as Lila's hatred for Ladybug|Marinette started simply because she was called out on a lie. Third, Lila can't be a future Manon in regards to Adrien. Adrien is 14-15 yrs old now and by the time Manon turns 14, Adrien may be in his early 20s. Throughout the time Manon has known Adrien, he was a kind of brother figure and Manon never gave a sign of liking him in a romantic way. Plus, let's be honest, Lila, who has harassed Adrien being a future Manon after he's been nothing but a brother figure to her just makes it sound weird, unsettling and wrong. So yeah, I don't see Lila being a future Manon as even if Manon's teenage years went through a character change, the characteristics Lila has show just don't line up. Although Haze, it would appear your dislike for Chris was justified if he was originally supposed to be Lila's willing henchman and Lila's earliest henchman at that.
I think Lila an Chris remained mixed up, but I also think that Chris Calls Alix "Cotton Tail" almost affectionately and Bunnyx acts like she knows him well may suggest something interesting too. I just hope they give Lila some actual Motivation though as Adrien isn't worth worrying about unless she wants to be Queen of England really really badly.
Honestly at this point idk why Lila even hates mari other than the lying calling out. Like what could mari do to Manon between now and wheneer to make her hate her that much? Exactly! @@hazeclarke I would suggest that Lila "wins" by living her best life. It is just a shame that she got a successful modeling career under the identity she had to abandon. As for the "Is Lila an adult" thing her deaf mother seems to have thought she was making a movie in Africa... which is a pretty odd thing for a 14 year old to be doing unsupervised for several months. The problem the show created for itself is showing that Lila has lots of charisma and is a skilled manipulator and as such should be able to achieve her goals without worrying about ridding on anyone else's Coat tales, It almost comes across like my consistent critique of the show trying to make everything about Marinette that really have nothing at all to do with her. I can't help but think that in a more consistent Universe, 1stly people would be a lot more sympathetic about Lila losing her contract to Gabriel and 2ndly she'd be more than able to get another one almost immediately with someone else as she is ridiculously famous -the show even shows as much when she is recognised . They also show how capricious fame is by having that person want Adrien's attention for being the face of the alliance ring and not for being Adrien Agreste.

Yeah, I to have a peeve with this theory also, in fact haze, I mentioned in a comment about this whole Lila is Manon thing and here it is. If Lila WERE Manon from the Future, don't you think that Bunnix would know about it and stop it just like she tried to during the very 1st episode of season 5? Oh how about this, if Lila were Manon from the Future, don't you think that she would gone for the Butterfly Miraculous a lot SOONER then waiting in till the end of season 5 to get it? Because something tells me that Lila isn't the type of person to 'FOLLOW' the rules when it comes to Time Travel because we knew that she would become the next Hawkmoth.
I feel like Chris probably likes Manon in the future, so whatever plan she had to go back, he did. He probably got willingly akumatized by whoever was supposed to get the butterfly miraculous if Lila didn't into timetagger, then sent Manon back, then resisted the akuma before anyone knew there was even an akuma so that she didn't get brought back. Then the timetagger ep was probably him coming to check on her after a few months of not seeing her
I hate to say but this type of theory is absurd in my opinion. Due to my respects for the character, Manon is a sweet innocent young girl who doesn't deserve to be dragged into a situation like this. I mean. If Manon was the real person, she will probably be uncomfortable by all of this assumptions, saying about her being Lila. And let's be clear, Manon and Lila doesn't resemblance to one and another. Manon has darker skin and Lila has lighter skin. No matter the eye colour, they still don't look the same.
Fr, and the last bit about the eye colour: brown is the most common eye colour, many people have the same eye colour, does that mean that they’re all time traveled versions of themselves? 😂 Also, I don’t think we even know who lila is anymore, she’s multiple people now. So who knows if Lila is even her real name? Also with her eyes changing colour from contacts, we also don’t know what her real eye colour is (don’t take this as me disagreeing with you or anything, I am very much agreeing with you, just adding on more to it)

Lila could also be Manon's older Sisir. And why do I say this? I point to Chloe's little sister being introduced in season, 3 or 4 as a way to keep a bushwa as the holder of the beam miraculous, but not having to be Chloe Bourgeois because the creator absolutely hates her.

Which are the names of all the identities she's used thus far. I didn't even notice Manon's shoes being similar to Lila's blazer.. thank you for telling me.. but anyway, I think Lila uses makeup or something and that's why her skin may look lighter, because if she can use contact lenses and wigs, I won't be surprised if she uses makeup too.. infact, in Adoration, we saw her doing some makeup when she was talking to Gabriel Agreste.. so she definitely does do makeup.. Also, Lila's eyes is actually brown.. she's been using green contact lenses as Lila this whole time, and she put on blue ones in Recreation for her Edna mode disguise. And before she put those on, she had brown eyes.. so I think her eyes are actually brown, because I doubt they would be elaborate enough to have Lila have brown contact lenses and then put green or blue contact lenses over those contact lenses.. you know.. it just wouldn't make much sense.. her eyes are brown.. Also her hair is styled short and in a similar way to Nadja's haircut but reversed.. also her hair is brown's like Manon's.. Also, you're asking why Manon could hate Marinette. Well as far as we know... in Action, Nadja said to Marinette, if she exposed Bertrand King then Manon will grow up in a world where her mother no longer had a job.. and she said that specifically to Marinette.. hear me out.. what if Nadja gets a hold of sensitive information such as Monarch's identity and she prepares to reveal it, but Marinette intervenes in the broadcast and stops her.. therefore making her lose her job and Manon sees that and then she grows up hating Marinette. For all we know Nadja may very well be a single parent.. we've never seen Lila's dad or Manon's dad.. so if that's the case and she loses her job, she wouldn't be able to support and take care of Manon as she wanted too, because she's gonna be out of work, and maybe.. social services step in and Manon goes to a social care home facility to get adopted.. she loses connection with her real mother and she grows up with her hatred for Marinette.. Lila escapes from the facility centre and goes to the Catacombs where no one is likely to find her, and there.. she grows up on her own.. until one of her fake mothers finds her and adopts her.. she feels that mother daugther connection again. She grows up and she reunites with Chris, who has a crush on her, because she looks familiar to him.. and they date and work together.. one day.. an older Lila sent a message to Timetagger telling him to go back in time to tell the previous Lila to go back in time again, to find the butterfly miraculous, because that older version of Lila is close to being defeated and this is her last resort, therefore this creates a time paradox and Manon is sent back in time by Timetagger which is the de-akumatized by the older Lila, who ends up failing in her universe.. and then we see Manon knowing that she entered the past and in fear of people recongising who she really is.. she decides to hide herself, by using disguises and uniforms, even different names in order for no one to be suspicious of who she really is.. She figures the first way to get revenge on Marinette is to take Adrien away from her.. but to her surprise.. Ladybug intervenes and then she hates Ladybug too. And whenever she got akumatized, she was always happy and always accepted, because it always benefited her and it always got her closer to getting the butterfly miraculous.. which she ends up doing, so something appears behind her, and I think it may be Timetagger or another version of Lila in some way popping in to this universe.. because our Lila went back in time creating a time paradox, but who knows.. that could just be The Supreme or something.. I hope you enjoyed my theory on how I think this could tie in and could be possible and I hope you understood it..
If Lila really is lightning her skin with makeup, then that’s not something they should be promoting in a kids show. And we don’t know for 100% sure the exact appearance of Lila, including hair and eye colour. There is no way for us to know as of rn what she actually looks like While that may happen with Nadja, it hasn’t happened yet. You can’t say a theory is true based on a theory of something else happening later on that you have no evidence for happening either. And why would that make Nadja lose her job? This logic doesn’t follow at all
@@hazeclarke because Marinette would interrupt Nadja while she's on air.. from saying the truth and therefore Nadja will fail from delivering what she said she would (Monarch's identity) resulting in her refusing to say it after Marinette convinces her.. and therefore making her lose her job or something. I don't know to be exact.. but I feel like Marinette might have something to do with Nadja losing her job, which might influence Manon's life in a negative way.. I'm not really sure about the makeup thing.. but me personally, I think how Lila actually look like is her short haired version with brown eyes.. to me that seems clear.. but who knows.. maybe she has a disguise under that and it turns out.. She's actually Mr Banana.. But based on what you said, I'm probably mostly wrong.. But Lila is actually either Felix and Kagami's Daughter (thus what she's befriending Kagami) or she's Emma Agreste. If she's Felix and Kagami's Daughter then she may have travelled back in time with the assistance of Chris as Time Tagger to save her Parents as someone wanted them dead so Adrien could be King of England. Who though Evil Marinette ? Do they have the guts to make Ladybug the ultimate Villain of the show ?

@DetectiveMisery I did wonder if she cut her, hair then I got to thinking well she wasn't around for months so that means she was living her life at the other school as Cerise with short hair, throwing the wig away showing she had no intention of using Lila again (so won't they think Lila's gone missing?) Also Lila avoids doing sports... this maybe so her wig doesn't get knocked off too.

But yeah it is possible Nathalie might not recognise her if she did see the footage and have not reason to connect Cerise to Iris or Lila either. So that means Cerise would be the "suspect" they'd have for who stole the Butterfly Miraculous. Shame is Cerise disappears though as I liked the Magenta leather Jacket a lot.

It's a well considered analysis, Haze, just as we would expect from an authoress such as your lovely self! However, there's a line from 'Star Trek' (Deep Space Nine) that might throw a spanner into the works: "if you want evidence of [something], I suggest we manufacture the evidence ourselves." The creators could easily do just that between now and the end of the series... either the fandom will shrug their shoulders, say 'OK' and lap it up, or they'll turn off the series and abandon it. For the moment, your analysis stands as reason enough to counter the theory. There's just one other thing. With regard to Manon being a minor character, the creators could be making her so in order to lull us into false security - the best place to hide something is often in plain sight, and if the creators devise some way to convince us that Manon is Lila, they'll have had her hidden in those few episodes all along.
They did mention the Future villain was someone who "had been there since the beginning" and if you count Stormy Weather as the 1st episode (not Bubbler) then She has been that where as Madam Tsuruge, Lila or even Amelie have not. So who's to say that the Girl Chris is in Love with isn't Manon & that Manon isn't Hawkmoth of the Future, and she simply has nothing to do with Lila other than perhaps Lila lost the Miraculous to Manon. But what about this idea Lila looses the Miraculous to someone else like madam Tsuruge, Kagami or Felix or Amelie they have it for a while and then they loose it and Manon gets it. Maybe she has a legit motive, maybe something horrible happens to someone she loves too. Which is perhaps preferable to Lila doing it as she has hives around Marinette's "Goody Two-shoesness".
if i'm being honest i feel like the miraculous writing team is taking fan theories and running with it because i swear every one of our theories so far has turned out to be correct
I just want to say this. When I first watched the Miraculous Movie on Netflix I was confused on why Marinette was asking where Adrien was at when he rejected her. I was confused on how Marinette knew that Adrien and Cat Noir are the same person. But now I realize that she saw him with part of his mask torn off and heard the conversation Adrien had with his father. It’s also why Marinette wanted to know where Adrien was at so tell him that she knows he is Cat Noir while also revealing she is Ladybug.
I see lots of people using the argument that “manon doesn’t have enough animosity to hate marinette!” Hunny Lila is from the far future, do you really think the only reasons she hates marinette is because she didn’t pay attention to her? There’s so many years between manon and “Lila”where stuff could’ve happened. 2nd: the fact that there’s many hints (the biggest one being manon having lilacs and irises on her shirt and the one EXACT SCENE where she was controlling alya and Lila was controlling Chloe) shows that this isn’t just for no reason. It’s foreshadowing 3rd: it’s not impossible to change the tone of your skin, she can change everything else, why not her skin? While it does sound bad she’s solely doing it to make people believe she’s truly a different person, not for racial reasons. And other shows have darker themes then this, season 6 will be more focused for teenagers obviously. 4th: pretty weird has Lila specifically has 2 scenes involving nadja chamack, one with a picture on the wall and one where she throws shade by saying “you’re like a mother to me” right next to nadja to marinettes mom. Awfully convenient since manons mom is literally nadja. Of course, the two Mikulias were completely different, but they were thought to be the same person. The tale kinda matches with Lila's activities
If they *do* make this theory true, it would purely be fan service, which some people do not like. If you use your fans' ideas to build the mythos of your story/ show, people won't like it because it isn't creative.

The theory is interesting, however, to execute it to make it make sense is going to be interesting. Add much as I don't want this theory to be true, i do believe it has a few evidences... As for her skin colour, they change frequently. As Lila, her skin is tan. But as Volpina, it's lighter. It's also lighter when she's Cerise and her identity at the end of re-creation. While she's in the catacombs, her skin colour appears intermediate. I don't think she would be in disguise while she's in there in her own, plus she changed into a disguise so I don't think she would be wearing a wig on top of a wig or contacts on top of other contacts. So her appearance then is most probably what she really looks like. If so, then it means she deliberately made her skin tanner in her disguise as Lila, and could also make it lighter. Plus her hair and eye colour in her lair is almost the same as Manon's. As for the time tagger and the rabbit miraculous argument, she has the butterfly miraculous, and the butterfly miraculous has the ability to grant whatever powers the user wants. So it's likely she doesn't need time tagger or bunnix to travel back in time. She could easily akumatize herself and grant herself the power to travel through time. Theres something that bugs me, in the episode where we found our Garbiel wasnt gonna be the future Monarch, how did Chris know Gabriel wasnt the monarch anymore? I wonder if that could lead to him knowing Lila is monarch and them teaming up or something, following this she could have akumatized him and have him send her to the past. If you look at Sabrina without her glasses she looks suspiciously like Zoe with a different hair colour.
They could be sisters, when the reporter (i forget her name sue me) was a teen maybe she got pregnant and gave up the baby, then later on when ready had manon. I suspect they fiudged the heck out of Cat Blanc as they didn't want you to notice they just killed the main character and replaced her with a duplicate (arguably not for the 1st time see "Two Ladybugs"). We actually see the Ladybug who died DIE twice even once when Hawkmoth kills her and once when the Ladybug's erase her.
There is no indication either that one Marinette shares both memories no one is just "killed" outright by the Ladybugs or so it seems. If they were being merged then both would be destroyed and a 3rd one would be standing between where they were afterwards. & Cat Blanc still was the person with the same memories after the Moon was fixed.
So it does seem like outright killing them is the only way out of it all.

(Idk how she would know that he used the wish but she’ll probably find out or ladybug confesses her deafeat against monarch and Kiki would put together)

18:17 I actually don't think that's a problem. Just because sometimes they don't change the past doesn't mean it can't be changed. It could be a loop that didn't exist by default but was put into motion. Maybe in Evolution when Ladybug and Chat Noir see themselves they already aren't in the original timeline. Maybe in the original timeline they didn't see themselves but later were seen by their past versions. And the way they changed the past accidentally somehow caused it to keep happening as a loop. And I think this logic could apply to any time they time travel, which would explain why they sometimes appear to use Novikov loops and sometimes do not. At least I think that makes sense, though I'm by no means an expert at time travel logic so feel free to correct me.

That would be a laugh wouldn't it if Lila was "Emma Agreste" but I don't think that is very likely as Lila actually looks Italian and if she was Adrien and Marinette's daughter she'd be a big old retrograde as yes both Adrien and Marinette have Italian ancestors so it isn't "impossible" as such just genetically VERY unlikely.
Adrien is half English and an unknown amount of Italian as we have no idea who Gabriel's Mom was (if such things matter for a magically crafted being). but lets say BOTH of Gabriel's parents were Italian then Adrien would be 50% Italian and not French at all.
Marinette mean while is 1/4 Italian. (there is also a slight suggestion that Marinette's deeper ancestors were not all Chinese to result in Sabine having Grey eyes).

I also think some of the others have names but they are not spoken in Dialogue.
The Blonde is called Sarah and the Redhead Margret but they didn't use the name as both those names are also used for other characters and the girl in the front row (sitting next to Mirelle) I think is called something like Roxanne or Raquel. There may be more than that though.

While it's interesting in theory, I find it unlikely that "Lila" is a future version of Manon.
For one, Lila has too much animosity towards Ladybug/Marinette for it to be considered sane at this point.
With Manon, no matter how many times she felt hurt by Marinette although it was unintentional, she's never had any reason to hate Marinette or want her dead.
Even if Manon became a very hormonally temperamental teenager, I don't think she can bring herself to want Marinette dead or to suffer.
Second, if Lila was a future version of Manon, she wouldn't need to trick 3+ women into thinking she's their daughter when she could just convince her real mother, Nadja.
Lila could just sway Nadja, who has no idea that Lila is an older Manon, to adopt her to become her younger self's big sister which would give Lila the opportunity to groomanon into the version of herself Lila wanted.
So Lila tricking three women would be pointless.
Plus, the only connection to Lila tricking women to be her "mother" and her hate for Ladybug|Marinette all tracing back to Manon is if there was an akuma or someone who killed Nadja and Ladybug's Miracle Cure didn't come through thus leaving Manon completely crushed and let down by Ladybug which festers into hatred.
If that happened, Lila would gone to Nadja first who she would have longed to see.
However, that didn't happen as Lila's hatred for Ladybug|Marinette started simply because she was called out on a lie.
Third, Lila can't be a future Manon in regards to Adrien. Adrien is 14-15 yrs old now and by the time Manon turns 14, Adrien may be in his early 20s.
Throughout the time Manon has known Adrien, he was a kind of brother figure and Manon never gave a sign of liking him in a romantic way.
Plus, let's be honest, Lila, who has harassed Adrien being a future Manon after he's been nothing but a brother figure to her just makes it sound weird, unsettling and wrong.
So yeah, I don't see Lila being a future Manon as even if Manon's teenage years went through a character change, the characteristics Lila has show just don't line up.
Although Haze, it would appear your dislike for Chris was justified if he was originally supposed to be Lila's willing henchman and Lila's earliest henchman at that.
I think Lila an Chris remained mixed up, but I also think that Chris Calls Alix "Cotton Tail" almost affectionately and Bunnyx acts like she knows him well may suggest something interesting too.
I just hope they give Lila some actual Motivation though as Adrien isn't worth worrying about unless she wants to be Queen of England really really badly.

The problem the show created for itself is showing that Lila has lots of charisma and is a skilled manipulator and as such should be able to achieve her goals without worrying about ridding on anyone else's Coat tales,
It almost comes across like my consistent critique of the show trying to make everything about Marinette that really have nothing at all to do with her.
I can't help but think that in a more consistent Universe, 1stly people would be a lot more sympathetic about Lila losing her contract to Gabriel and 2ndly she'd be more than able to get another one almost immediately with someone else as she is ridiculously famous -the show even shows as much when she is recognised .
They also show how capricious fame is by having that person want Adrien's attention for being the face of the alliance ring and not for being Adrien Agreste.

I hate to say but this type of theory is absurd in my opinion. Due to my respects for the character, Manon is a sweet innocent young girl who doesn't deserve to be dragged into a situation like this. I mean. If Manon was the real person, she will probably be uncomfortable by all of this assumptions, saying about her being Lila. And let's be clear, Manon and Lila doesn't resemblance to one and another. Manon has darker skin and Lila has lighter skin. No matter the eye colour, they still don't look the same.

I do think Lila is Manon.. Not only does Manon had Lilacs on her overalls, but she also has cerises and irises. Which are the names of all the identities she's used thus far. I didn't even notice Manon's shoes being similar to Lila's blazer.. thank you for telling me.. but anyway, I think Lila uses makeup or something and that's why her skin may look lighter, because if she can use contact lenses and wigs, I won't be surprised if she uses makeup too.. infact, in Adoration, we saw her doing some makeup when she was talking to Gabriel Agreste.. so she definitely does do makeup.. Also, Lila's eyes is actually brown.. she's been using green contact lenses as Lila this whole time, and she put on blue ones in Recreation for her Edna mode disguise. And before she put those on, she had brown eyes.. so I think her eyes are actually brown, because I doubt they would be elaborate enough to have Lila have brown contact lenses and then put green or blue contact lenses over those contact lenses.. you know.. it just wouldn't make much sense.. her eyes are brown.. Also her hair is styled short and in a similar way to Nadja's haircut but reversed.. also her hair is brown's like Manon's..
Also, you're asking why Manon could hate Marinette. Well as far as we know... in Action, Nadja said to Marinette, if she exposed Bertrand King then Manon will grow up in a world where her mother no longer had a job.. and she said that specifically to Marinette.. hear me out.. what if Nadja gets a hold of sensitive information such as Monarch's identity and she prepares to reveal it, but Marinette intervenes in the broadcast and stops her.. therefore making her lose her job and Manon sees that and then she grows up hating Marinette. For all we know Nadja may very well be a single parent.. we've never seen Lila's dad or Manon's dad.. so if that's the case and she loses her job, she wouldn't be able to support and take care of Manon as she wanted too, because she's gonna be out of work, and maybe.. social services step in and Manon goes to a social care home facility to get adopted.. she loses connection with her real mother and she grows up with her hatred for Marinette.. Lila escapes from the facility centre and goes to the Catacombs where no one is likely to find her, and there.. she grows up on her own.. until one of her fake mothers finds her and adopts her.. she feels that mother daugther connection again. She grows up and she reunites with Chris, who has a crush on her, because she looks familiar to him.. and they date and work together.. one day.. an older Lila sent a message to Timetagger telling him to go back in time to tell the previous Lila to go back in time again, to find the butterfly miraculous, because that older version of Lila is close to being defeated and this is her last resort, therefore this creates a time paradox and Manon is sent back in time by Timetagger which is the de-akumatized by the older Lila, who ends up failing in her universe.. and then we see Manon knowing that she entered the past and in fear of people recongising who she really is.. she decides to hide herself, by using disguises and uniforms, even different names in order for no one to be suspicious of who she really is..
She figures the first way to get revenge on Marinette is to take Adrien away from her.. but to her surprise.. Ladybug intervenes and then she hates Ladybug too. And whenever she got akumatized, she was always happy and always accepted, because it always benefited her and it always got her closer to getting the butterfly miraculous.. which she ends up doing, so something appears behind her, and I think it may be Timetagger or another version of Lila in some way popping in to this universe.. because our Lila went back in time creating a time paradox, but who knows.. that could just be The Supreme or something..

If Lila really is lightning her skin with makeup, then that’s not something they should be promoting in a kids show. And we don’t know for 100% sure the exact appearance of Lila, including hair and eye colour. There is no way for us to know as of rn what she actually looks like
While that may happen with Nadja, it hasn’t happened yet. You can’t say a theory is true based on a theory of something else happening later on that you have no evidence for happening either. And why would that make Nadja lose her job? This logic doesn’t follow at all

It's a well considered analysis, Haze, just as we would expect from an authoress such as your lovely self! However, there's a line from 'Star Trek' (Deep Space Nine) that might throw a spanner into the works: "if you want evidence of [something], I suggest we manufacture the evidence ourselves." The creators could easily do just that between now and the end of the series... either the fandom will shrug their shoulders, say 'OK' and lap it up, or they'll turn off the series and abandon it. For the moment, your analysis stands as reason enough to counter the theory.
There's just one other thing. With regard to Manon being a minor character, the creators could be making her so in order to lull us into false security - the best place to hide something is often in plain sight, and if the creators devise some way to convince us that Manon is Lila, they'll have had her hidden in those few episodes all along.

They did mention the Future villain was someone who "had been there since the beginning" and if you count Stormy Weather as the 1st episode (not Bubbler) then She has been that where as Madam Tsuruge, Lila or even Amelie have not.
So who's to say that the Girl Chris is in Love with isn't Manon & that Manon isn't Hawkmoth of the Future, and she simply has nothing to do with Lila other than perhaps Lila lost the Miraculous to Manon.
But what about this idea Lila looses the Miraculous to someone else like madam Tsuruge, Kagami or Felix or Amelie they have it for a while and then they loose it and Manon gets it.
Maybe she has a legit motive, maybe something horrible happens to someone she loves too. Which is perhaps preferable to Lila doing it as she has hives around Marinette's "Goody Two-shoesness".

I just want to say this. When I first watched the Miraculous Movie on Netflix I was confused on why Marinette was asking where Adrien was at when he rejected her. I was confused on how Marinette knew that Adrien and Cat Noir are the same person. But now I realize that she saw him with part of his mask torn off and heard the conversation Adrien had with his father. It’s also why Marinette wanted to know where Adrien was at so tell him that she knows he is Cat Noir while also revealing she is Ladybug.
Well, one idea floating around is that Lila is in fact Marinette's and Adrian's Kid who is jealous of them being superheroes

I see lots of people using the argument that “manon doesn’t have enough animosity to hate marinette!”
Hunny Lila is from the far future, do you really think the only reasons she hates marinette is because she didn’t pay attention to her? There’s so many years between manon and “Lila”where stuff could’ve happened.
2nd: the fact that there’s many hints (the biggest one being manon having lilacs and irises on her shirt and the one EXACT SCENE where she was controlling alya and Lila was controlling Chloe) shows that this isn’t just for no reason. It’s foreshadowing
3rd: it’s not impossible to change the tone of your skin, she can change everything else, why not her skin? While it does sound bad she’s solely doing it to make people believe she’s truly a different person, not for racial reasons. And other shows have darker themes then this, season 6 will be more focused for teenagers obviously.
4th: pretty weird has Lila specifically has 2 scenes involving nadja chamack, one with a picture on the wall and one where she throws shade by saying “you’re like a mother to me” right next to nadja to marinettes mom. Awfully convenient since manons mom is literally nadja. (We don’t even know if Lila’s mothers are real considering there’s 3)
Considering Lila gets the butterfly miraculous it’s not hard to imagine some sort of time travel thing was going on here.
So far all the reasons people in the comments are “debunking this theory” is because of ignorance. Again season 6 is gonna be for bigger age groups (considering season 5 was already stepping it up) so don’t rule out anything just because it’s a kids show

Why does she stalk Marinette? Because the last time she didn't get overly cautious about someone finding out her true nature, she got poisoned.

The fact that pretty much every Kaito in Evillious had committed identity fraud at some point except for Kaspar had got me cooking. There might also be a reason why all the flowers she names herself after are symbolic of nobility (purple lilacs, irises and cherry blossoms)
Also he had the copy of the unreleased version of the Flower of the Plateau, a tale about a florist who is very popular, but kills anyone who tries to taint her reputation by revealing her past as a prostitute. Of course, the two Mikulias were completely different, but they were thought to be the same person. The tale kinda matches with Lila's activities

As for her skin colour, they change frequently. As Lila, her skin is tan. But as Volpina, it's lighter. It's also lighter when she's Cerise and her identity at the end of re-creation.
While she's in the catacombs, her skin colour appears intermediate. I don't think she would be in disguise while she's in there in her own, plus she changed into a disguise so I don't think she would be wearing a wig on top of a wig or contacts on top of other contacts. So her appearance then is most probably what she really looks like.
If so, then it means she deliberately made her skin tanner in her disguise as Lila, and could also make it lighter.
Plus her hair and eye colour in her lair is almost the same as Manon's.
As for the time tagger and the rabbit miraculous argument, she has the butterfly miraculous, and the butterfly miraculous has the ability to grant whatever powers the user wants. So it's likely she doesn't need time tagger or bunnix to travel back in time. She could easily akumatize herself and grant herself the power to travel through time.
I hate the illogical arguments against this theory that say Lila's not manon because Lila is bad and Manon is good... Like Chloe used to be good in the start of season three and she turned into a piece of trash... Gabriel used to be evil but turned 'good' at the last moment....People can change 😭

Theres something that bugs me, in the episode where we found our Garbiel wasnt gonna be the future Monarch, how did Chris know Gabriel wasnt the monarch anymore? I wonder if that could lead to him knowing Lila is monarch and them teaming up or something, following this she could have akumatized him and have him send her to the past. Tho that raises the question why she even bothered to do all of this, is it possible that her presence in the past had changed the future and somehow influenced the fall of Gabriel? Im not sure what could be her goal out of all this but this theory would explain why she has 3 moms, maybe she couldve been taken into foster care? Since assuming she s Mannon from the future, Nadia wouldnt be here to look after her

PLEASE READ! When Manon controls the statues in Puppeteer 2 or the first puppeteer episode (i actually don't remember which one it was) it looks the same as when Lila controls Chloe in season 5. They're shown on the left of the screen in the same format. Many other characters have controlled people in the show but they were the only two shown the same way when controlling others. I don't know why they would have done it like that beside that they may actually be the same. Also I did research on Manon's name based off of the way lila makes her fake names before watching this video and there are flowers called manons but i found a bit more proof on that. I don't entirely believe in this theory and it took a while before I started to believe it even a little but I found this proof on another video and started to believe but the reason that the video gave about why lila or manon would do that was absolutely stupid. Sooo..... 1. The skin color not matching could easily be Lila wearing makeup.
2. If Manon were Lila, then it stands to reason that something traumatic will eventually have to happen to change Manon and lead her down the path of evil.
