I also love how he is always keeping his eyes open for improvements to his equipment. I thought his first build was perfect. But this is at least the third time he’s upgraded it. Good enough is never good enough!
My city used to have a Ford Motor Company foundry. My high school taught a casting class because Ford employed so many people, I took a class and I have to say, you make it look easy! Funny, I never knew casting sand was orange before watching you work. The stuff I was taught with was black from being re-used. Really great work, I look forward to seeing it put to use.
In his early days, he struggled as much as anyone else, frequently trying many different strategies before getting a good enough cast... But he's developed impressive mastery since then, and i don't remember the last time I saw him need to redo a cast.
love the comparison of both...boy then MAN. is there anything you can't do? and the videos are so well edited... i jump for joy when i see you have a new video out. gracias black beard.
hello, i work on a 50/4000 belt grinder every day, it have a 3000rpm 4hp motor and a vfd, every speed upper than 1500rpm ice the belt (reflective grain, no grind and heat growing), by usage, 36 grit 1000-1200 rpm, 60-80 grit 1200-1500, 120-180 grit 1500 rpm, ;)
Awesome job! What program did you use to make the srpm labels? It's cool how you use old school & "new" school methods to build your projects. Keep the videos coming and be safe.
great job but help me out. you made a lost mold in the lathe to then cast iron to put it back in the lathe in order to get where you need it to be. why not taking some aluminum and make it directly in the lathe in a fraction of time? for flywheel mass?
Awesome, are you worried about the sandpaper belt being able to take that much punishment or are they rated for more? Do you have to think about every little detail like that in a project or do you have to just give it a go and hope for the best sometimes?
your videos always high quality and helpful. Can you please tel me the name of the speed controllerl? am searching for speed controller but I can"t be sure the right one. Thanks
Optimal A piece of advice, you need to put the magnothermic protections, both at the inverter input and at the asynchronous motor output, moreover it is better to put a normal start and stop button, with the relative signal, the emergency button is fine, as well as to this a luminous signal that indicates an anomaly, due to any fault. For the rest, great job Congratulations.
For steel: high sfpm for ceramic and slower for oxide. Also high sfpm for low grit and vice versa. Other materials grind differently tho, you can google charts if needed.
I love how you don't just go out and buy pulleys and other spurious parts. If you need em you just make em. It's great to see
I also love how he is always keeping his eyes open for improvements to his equipment. I thought his first build was perfect. But this is at least the third time he’s upgraded it. Good enough is never good enough!
What you did there looks beautiful. 🎉🤯💫
Congratulations on this wonderful work
Your attention to detail is genius! The dial was fine as is and wonderful as a mask for painting! Just amazing! I love how you make what you need.

You make that look so easy, and it isn't. Nicely done, sir. I bet it makes a huge difference.
Very, very creative, great job.
I always love watching your videos and how your constantly improving is really inspirational
Thank you!
@@BlackBeardProjects Ciao, dove hai scoperto queste abilità?
An impressive upgrade! I absolutely love watching your skills, dude! I only dream of having a fraction of your abilities! Keep up the fantastic work!
My gosh , pretty impressed by your casting skills!

Another brilliant and satisfying video. Great work!!

Great Work. Sand Casting, a Lathe and some milling. Love it 😅

Amazing! It’s very impressive that making all what you need by casting.
Hello Black Beard good job my friend well done
It's like the time that Top Gear drove a blender with a 350 small block Chevy.
I found it to be a very useful video for my works 👍
That was awesome you always make great things five stars my friend thank you for sharing
At 8:20 is some seriously satisfying editing.
Sculpted keyway is awesome, and I keep looking for a wider angle view of the lathe.
Master! Awesome.
You make the best Bundt Cake moulds!! 🤘😜
Wow that has a right set of chestnuts on it mine is 5hp and is a beast great video mate keep um coming
Casting drive wheel! Didnt think it would be that easy. Might have to try. Lol

Now I got to build !!!!!
Belt grinder, beast mode ON
Excellent work 👍👍👍 . Thanks for sharing
I would add some LEDs inside of the contol box so the rpm scale would be highlighted.

Very impressive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Two thumbs way Up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
phenomenal work sir!
Thanks brother!
Nice upgrade!
Great job, thought for sure that was going to be a re-pour. Looked like a small blowout?
I was absolutely shocked at the quality of the cast after that. It seemed so violent... and then it was practically nothing
@@andy4an I was thinking that there will be cavity where the metal pour out of mold
Lol, this belt grinder evolved quite a lot since its creation =D
Indeed!
Excellent job.
nice upgrade
Very nice upgrade job! But this vfd drive needs air.....concider a cooling fan in the back.
Wow, very, very cool!

Well, soon🙄

Next up some sort of protection carter I hope
thank you luck i will take you as an example

Hello, what kind of soil is used for casting?
well done
Brilliant.

Why buy new parts when you can make them? Hahaha nice one!
I thought for sure your mold wasn’t going to fill when I saw it come out the side…but it was juuuuust enough.
Yep! Same here!

Thanks! This one is an "xsy-at1" but most cheap import ones are the same. Just make sure to pick the one you need for input phases and load!
@@BlackBeardProjects Thank you so much
What a monster. Maybe instead of SFPM you should have Kilograms removed per second. KgRPS :)
the fan in that motor can pull in a lot of metal dust, should box and grill filter it metal mesh over stove filter?
Не испортит ли эта стружка алюминиевый шкив?

Good
What happens if the belt breaks?
Will it fly into your face?
Yeah it can happen. I've been slapped once from the top, always wear safety gear :')

Damn how long are the belts?
🤘
Хорошая длинна ленты,.
👍👍👍👍👍
i likes it =)
what applications are better for faster or slower grinding?
For steel: high sfpm for ceramic and slower for oxide. Also high sfpm for low grit and vice versa.

Top…😎
And I thought mine was overpowered with 3HP 😂
