@@popovic5463 i think you are misleading the hp meaning, you are talking about 73kw, on a belt grinder? Come on! Sometimes some manufacturers write hp as a name but aren't real horsepower.
Naaah, I've touched metal before, and I clearly know his way of working better than he does. How can I not be qualified to nit pick every little detail I feel could be done differently?
I love the fact that the longer I follow this channel, the more I get to see your shop grow and evolve with tools you've either made or restored yourself in previous videos. Keep up the fantastic work.
Screwing around with the tile trying to get a good break make me chuckle, thanks for that. Really nice setup man, I'm a little jealous honestly. Can't wait to see what sort of blades you can come up with now that you've got the new grinding options available!
i really like your work. you are a true Pro, Enthusiastic about what you do, and most importantly, do not have a Consumer Brain. i really like the fact that you made the things you need. i see too many people around me that spend a large amounts of cash on bs instruments (in every occupation), and cant do the simplest tasks. wish they learn from you. wish you the best and hope you go forward and up every step of the way
Wow! Absolutely phenomenal. Your design and fabrication has gone from strength to strength. Your videos are inspiring. Thanks, as ever, for sharing your work, Sir!
My heart broke for you every time that the tile broke wrong. I hate it when all of the prep is done just right and rotten luck ruins all of the hard work. Beautiful work as usual on the platen attachment
cool modification of the grinder. and as for the ceramic tile, for the future. wet it underneath before cutting. greetings Marcin Grzegorz Świerczyński
Muy buen trabajo, habia leído algo sobre usar azulejo pero tenía mis dudas ya tengo mi lijadora y solo me faltaba esa pieza me a iluminado 😂gracias saludos desde españa aupaaa 🇺🇾 👍👍👍
The internet is pitching in and sending you a new pair of gloves. ;) You can also leave metal in vinegar and reform the rust/mill scale. It takes ~24 hours but you don't have to grind it as much and worry about getting that junk in your lungs.
Yep. Was going to recommend the same. But I know this gentleman has plenty of experience with rust removal so, it’s his choice. You can get 40% acetic acid and even 45% from Amazon. Environmentally friendly too!
Hi man i really love your vids they have always learned me something new to make in my garage . Pls keep making the awesome content that you post and stay safe my friend

@@popovic5463 are you joking? 55hp?
Next time cut the tile with a grinder and a masonry cutting disk ✌️😎

@@popovic5463 yeah, what a supersize belt grinder😉😁 i'm from Italy
Nice project
Excellent idea to use a bit of tile for the backing plate! I have some and still wouldn't have thought of that!
I'm a VERY novice knife maker, watching your videos makes everything seem so easy.
That sound of excitement when the tile broke just right, on the last try xD
Also holy shit guys, some of you are really into mechanical backseating...
Agree with the backseating. I don’t mind when Hand Tool Rescue, or My Mechanics are doing it though...

Great video and I really enjoyed the humor of the tile breaking lol
Floor Tile for the Platton, Genius I tell Ya, Love the build.
Nothing beat the tools that you build yourself (not even the biggest brands). It's design specifically for your use.

Your metal casting skills have leveled up nicely, impressive and fun to watch you grow.

Very nice! Great job in design and building this grinder!
The greatest grinder I have ever seen.

well just use a tile breaker, thats like 30 bucks and will last you a lifetime, or just borrow one from someone that has one.
cool modification of the grinder.

You are welding with a low amperage. That's why you don't blend in properly with the material.
i loved the real noise

Не, парень! Со сваркой у тебя беда!))) Учиться надо!!! Это я тебе как сварщик говорю)))
Тут даже и сварщиком не надо быть, чтобы в который раз заметить что у него со сваркой всё плохо.
Looks good...
Most complicated trailer hitch ever! 😁
I used a piece or porcelain tile as a backer to the backplate on my platen, it’s been on three years and shows no signs of wear.
Better than Glass those supply Stores for knifemakers sell? Thx
