I`m trying in central Louisiana and battling extreme yearly freezes. I hope we get a break this next winter because I started over 15 new fruit trees, asparagus, strawberries and more. Armadillos are a really bad problem too.

I’ve implemented some of those tips, but they’re great. I’m two years into creating my food forest in Portland, Oregon. I’ll be doing my first tour video soon on my RUclips channel. Would love to come and visit Florida one day and see this amazing place. Thanks for sharing all my best.

I bought four Dwarf Everbearing Mulberry trees from Florida this year. They`re growing like crazy. There are a lot of things I wish I had but online prices are just too much on a fixed income. Even seeds are outrageous for tiny amounts. I`m growing Crowder Peas for seeds this year because I paid so much for so few that it isn`t worth eating the harvest and I only got half the number I ordered. It cost me nearly 100 bucks and over two years to get the real dwarf tomato variety I wanted for indoors because of scammers. Who knows what my fig trees really are because chances are they`re just whatever they had access to. I won`t know until they fruit if they`re keepers for my climate or even a variety that`s self pollinating because scammers really enjoy harming home growers.

Try getting good fresh fruit & veggies & save the seeds from everything you get.. then grow your fruits and veggies from the seeds you saved.
Dry your seeds on coffee filters.. don’t forget to write the name of the seeds that you have saved.. bell pepper, poblano pepper, strawberry, cantaloupe, ect.. happy growing!

Hi. You can ask me your questions. Happy to answer. Regular raspberr;es dont grow well in hot climates because they require a certain amount of cold chill hours that we simply do not get. Mostly areas where it doesnt snow. So I grow Mysore raspberries instead. They are darker in color but look like raspberries. Flavor is more like a blackberry and mulberry combination. Very delicious. I often sell Mysore raspberry plants on my website.
