Hey Everest, I just wanted to say thank you for all the informative videos. You are one of the main people that helped me along my first grow and my harvest came out wayyy better than i had imagined. I also retrofitted my 4ft 8 tube T5 after watching this video and its FANTASTIC. Just set it up yesterday. Never slow down, keep the videos coming, and keep spreading that positivity. Peace.
Love the LEDs. Soon as money is available I will be replacing all my T5s with these bulbs. I just wish a LED replacement for 1000 watt HPS bulbs existed that wasn't insanely priced.
I have 2 ft T5 grow light fixtures, the florescent T-5 tubes are rated at 24 watts, I bought direct replacement LED tubes 18 watts from growlights.ca. They carry red, blue and full spectrum tubes. In a 4 tube fixture I put 1 blue, 2 red and 1 full spectrum tubes. The increased plant growth has been phenomenal. The lights are in a homemade grow rack, no venting is necessary. the lights give off less heat the the original T5 fluorescent tubes. I did put up white panels to keep the light reflected into the grow rack, this was mostly because the lights were so strong that I needed to put up a shield to protect my eyes from the bright light. The grow racks are located in my bedroom. There is no UVA, B or C emitted from these lights. The cost is from $45 for a 2 pak of red or blue and the full spectrum is $55 for a 2 pak.
I guess I can't post a pic, but my pepper plants have 28 inches (71 cm) of growing space, The pots are 10 inches (25 cm) high, so the plants have only 18 inches (46 cm) of growing space. I plan on redoing the grow rack so they can have space to grow 30 -36 inches (76 - 91 cm) of grow space with larger pots, going from #5 pot to #7 pot. The #7 pot is 12 inches (30 cm) in height which will leave about 24 (60 cm) or more in height for the plant to grow in.
+Blaine Overbay Great stuff. Some LED T5 replacements are build for markedly low watts, some are built for demanding horticultural applications and offer more modest power savings but incredible performance. This is definitely the latter!
i have some Agroled T5 LED replacements 5500K. daylight spec. They do really well. But they're expensive and the 2ft ones are hard to find at a good price. I like that they don't dim over time like my T5 HO bulbs do.
+William Garcia Thanks William - I appreciate your support. Got a full day of rockwool soaking and transplanting ahead of me today! Wish me luck with that! More videos soon. :)
Great video! Have you have any experience with these bulbs and leafy greens? I'm looking at potential replacements for my 2 foot 8 tube T5 for my NFT set-up and these bulbs are a top contender. Thanks! I really appreciate all of the videos you have posted. They have really helped me with my new hobby of hydroponics.
Go to this website, growlights.ca, canadian website, they will accept paypal. They have a complete line of T5 fixtures and the LED tubes. I believe you could grow MJ under these lights.
Love all your Videos, Learn alot of new things thanks to you. Always happy to see a new video..... i run a RDWC and maybe one day enlighten us a little. Thanks in advance
would you ever consider doing a video on general information on growing citrus indoors? I love your videos and could really use a great source of information like you on the topic
Totally weird listening to you talk slowly....... But loving the fact that I don't have to replay your video four times to understand what you were saying LOL good job buddy love your videos
Quick question: Are all these bulbs universal fit? Can I go from t8 flourescent to t5 led with no problems? Its a kitchen light and the wife wants lots of light..
Do you have any suggestions for those of us who want to measure PAR but don't want to drop $300+ on a PAR meter? I want to see for myself the difference between different combinations and wattages of LEDs, grow lamps, and natural sunlight. PS: I don't get why people tell you to slow down, I like getting lots of information in as little time as possible. Keep up the pace.
+Toasty if you have a laptop or USB device Apogee do a plug in quantum meter and there's free software you can download to turn your computer into a PAR meter. I'll make a video all about it cos I just got one! The model is the SQ-520 www.apogeeinstruments.co.uk/sq-520-full-spectrum-smart-quantum-sensor-usb/
Thanks for getting back to me, but at $345 that's a little out of my price range. Is there just no inexpensive (sub $100) way to measure PAR? I guess instead of measuring PAR, is there an easy way to tell immediately if your plants are getting enough of the right light? Thanks again.
hi hun great advice once again, what do u think to other led lighting would I have to spend K££££S On them for them to be any good I was thinking of trying a sunking any advice?
+grow proteas try between six and twelve inches. I'd go for twelve and then come in closer if the plants seem happy (or let them grow towards the light). My chillies enjoyed 6 inches with no problems.
@@Just4Growers none other than smell. Smelled like melted plastic. And they really melted. Back to t5 bulbs which isn't ideal, they definitely run much hotter.
Hey Everest. Great video. It would be great to show the spectrum-graph of these tubes. Because comparison of light quality - T5 fluo-tubes vs. LED T5s. It would be interesting. ))

+Andrew Wood We're all good for data on the T5s (thanks for the links) it's the new LED tubes - I have some extrapolated performance data based on 6,000 hours which I will share in an upcoming video. :)
+nevim neresim It varies Nevim. Usually between US$ 250 and 400 (that includes some regular domestic consumption) - fortunately my grow room related electricity consumption is covered as part of my research expenses.
just place it on it directly, you should get anywhere from 20k to 50k 1/4 1/3 of thee lux of the full sun light, make a led light trellis that way you wast nno lighht
We can vouch for these bulbs! We use them and love them (we even switch them out in our warehouse lighting!) and we also sell them in our online store (
the speed of the speech is interesting but maybe too forced, hurry is not speed, I love your short and dense format but maybe it would be better slightly slower.
+Jypsy Dog Hello my motivational amigo! We're getting there! Rented a container and half filled it already. Plus three van-loads of CRAP went to the tip. I'll shoot the evidence very soon!
ROCK ON MAN!!! The first trash bags the tuffest! Neighbors down the road just cleared out "Grandmas House" OH MY GOD!! 2 roll off dumpsters! See yer progress soon!

everest is my hero
Those looks so nice! So hard to decide if it's worth the price given the low cost of T5 bulbs. Side by side comparison time!
The cost is a big factor...but if you use them more than just a year...they pay for themselves in both energy usage and lifespan.
Love the LEDs. Soon as money is available I will be replacing all my T5s with these bulbs. I just wish a LED replacement for 1000 watt HPS bulbs existed that wasn't insanely priced.
Let us know when you're ready to replace the T5's and we can hook you up ;)
These LEDs look like they would make good supplemental lighting as well, very nice.
The best type of grow lights and by far my favorite ! Led bars !
Do you know what kind of fixtures he's using with the Agro LED bulbs in this video?
I use these AGROLED in veg and love them. Glad to hear you approve.
if you remove the ballasts you can reduce the energy more, they are not needed with led

Steve Allen Why not run all full spectrum tubes?
Full spectrum the light is very intense, I bought full spectrum after I had bought the blue and red bulbs.
6 inches away is way to close i place mine derectly on my plants
6 inches too close, directly on plant okay? Hmmm. Okaaaay.

I have been looking for a 2foot high quality led bulb replacement. This is exactly what I needed to see!

Good to have you back mon amie.
Thanks Noah!
You Always update in Technology and Knowledge ,I wondering how u can leave a time for searching and reading ,incredible ,UR my Hero❤️❤️👍🏽
Thanks for your support Mohsen!
wow you actually took a breath lol ..great to 👀 you back!
Hey men!! Thx for coming back,
+William Garcia Thanks William - I appreciate your support. Got a full day of rockwool soaking and transplanting ahead of me today! Wish me luck with that! More videos soon. :)
yes,t5 replacement,I will be in contact soon😁
I had five of the four foot agroled t5 replacement tubes die before reaching six months. I wish I had kept the receipt.
It's a relief to see your video I was getting worried !

We have a few of the 2 foot bloom bulbs left. How many did you need, and did you want the veg or bloom spectrum?
Go to this website, growlights.ca, canadian website, they will accept paypal. They have a complete line of T5 fixtures and the LED tubes. I believe you could grow MJ under these lights.
Great Store, I live in Montréal and i order everything from this place, Thomas is a great guy!
great video ✌ always good to save power. I'm running a 10 led diode setup that replaced two 4 ft t5 and I'm consuming less than 50 watts 👍🤓✌
Looking forward to your next VPD video!

+charlie weldon I did flirt with Kaffir lime a few years back but it's such a long term project indoors - I prefer short cycle annuals. :)
technology like this is truly tha bee's knee's!

question, can I just use regular T5 LED that people use to light their room ? its very bright.
this is too much excitement for a goddamn light
This is only for propagation and not flower or veg, you do need to replace the fixture still.
hi hun great advice once again, what do u think to other led lighting would I have to spend K££££S On them for them to be any good I was thinking of trying a sunking any advice?
Thanks! Is there a recommended height to put the lights over the plants? Or a range?
+grow proteas try between six and twelve inches. I'd go for twelve and then come in closer if the plants seem happy (or let them grow towards the light). My chillies enjoyed 6 inches with no problems.
Awesome day when you post a new video!
Your positivity is MUCH appreciated Eric-thank you amigo.
Need a 2 FT version.
I've had two of these melt and try to catch fire. Done with them.
Sounds nasty. Any telltale signs before they did that?
@@Just4Growers none other than smell. Smelled like melted plastic. And they really melted. Back to t5 bulbs which isn't ideal, they definitely run much hotter.
How are the agroled bulbs holding up? I've heard mixed reviews about their longevity and build quality.
The T5 tubes are doing fine so far ... but I’ve not had that many hours out of them yet.
Can you post a video about nanotech nutrients as well? Thanks!
like your speed :) can you check some spectrum on led? (Optic 4)
does these compare in par/watt to modern COB lights?
Always like you videos. Good job
Very nice
Hey Everest. Great video. It would be great to show the spectrum-graph of these tubes. Because comparison of light quality - T5 fluo-tubes vs. LED T5s. It would be interesting. ))
+MrYielder Spot on. I will do some digging and let you know in a follow-up vid.

Looking forward to it!
Does anyone know where I can buy a fixture that is compatible with the AgroLED iSunlight T5 bulbs?? Preferably without the bulbs. Thanks!!
He's back!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing video🙌
Can you link the Vapor Pressure Deficit chart? I've never seen one that showed the stages of life. Thanks.
opennlabs.com/vpd/VPD_calculator.php
are they available for purchase yet? & where? thanks.
We have them on our site and ship all to anywhere in the USA.
do you have 2FT version?
led daylight spectrum or cmh ??
How can you supplement UV spectrums with these lights?
hortilux powerveg t5 bulbs
nise..👌
I got the Re Trawfit
Looks like there is almost no difference between the sun system par meter vs the Q500 under led
+Jacques Krause I will do a more in depth comparison Jacques. The MQ-500 is better tuned for accuracy under LEDs, the manufacturer informs me.
Why are t5 always talked about and not t8 or t12s
Nice video :)
Can you flower with those?
+Mike Hunt yes, I recommend getting the bloom spectrum tubes.
😀😀😀😭😭😁thanks bro
How much do you pay for electricity per month? :D
+nevim neresim It varies Nevim. Usually between US$ 250 and 400 (that includes some regular domestic consumption) - fortunately my grow room related electricity consumption is covered as part of my research expenses.
Wow, that's more than minimal net wage in my country. Can I ask what do you do for living so you can afford that?
leaving a like to see more :)

If you're in the USA and want to purchase these LED T5 tubes, we have them on our website here: goo.gl/GYl190
Have you used these bulbs with two or more fluorescent fixtures which are daisy chained? And if so, any issues? Thanks!
Josh Burns we have, and there have not been any issues.
lol so my boy banks with hsbc
