We went to this Hattie B location when we visited Nashville in 2021. I (Cindy) likes spicy food. I got the "hot" chicken. It was really good. I appreciate your hats off to me. But I could not handle the "Shut the Cluck Up". I had to try it but it was way too hot for me. David got the chicken "southern style". Would love to try a few other of the hot chicken places. Great review.
@vafunseekers, this is our favorite Nashville hot chicken place now, after all of the ones we’ve tried so far! Everything was fantastic. We don’t know how you were able to try the “hot” and the “Shut the Cluck Up” in the same meal, Cindy. You definitely, have a great tolerance for heat. The medium was perfect for our heat tolerance. Brent tried mine (mild) after he had already eaten a few bites of his medium, and he thought mine had no flavor….lol. I tried his after eating a few bites of mine, and both had noticeable heat levels, but also had different flavor profiles of the other seasonings used to make each unique flavor. I thought that was something great that sets Hattie B’s apart from the other hot chicken restaurants. We really enjoy your videos and hope y’all are having a great start to the New Year!

Sometimes I get a milder heat if the taste is better at some local places. You don't know until you try. I only ate one bite of the "Shut the Cluck Up". Love me some Hattie B's! Shut the cluck up level is not quite as hot as Prince's hottest but has great flavor. The grits and greens are both killer!
