    If you cook potatoes, rice, or oatmeal and put them in the fridge for at least 24 hours and then reheat them, they will have lots of resistant starch which will feed the good bacteria and they will make the postbiotics from this.

    Great video. But I can’t help but think there is a supplement for everything. A person could go overboard trying to guard against everything with supplements.

    Hey Dr. Gundry. Like your vids. I still make Sweet Potato Soup based in your recipe. I do have a question. When i buy organic nuts at the supermarket on the reverse of the pkg it states that the pkg may contain other items, such as soy, etc. Are we to assume that these extras are also organic. I just don't know what to think. Maybe you could address this somewhere down the road? Thanks so much.

    So if you take Bio Complete 3 and Total Gut Restore is it unnecessary to take the 24 Strain Probiotic since BC3 contains probiotics?

    • @GundryMDYT
      @GundryMDYT  11 месяцев назад

      Hello there, we're so sorry for the delay in our reply. Bio Complete 3 contains 2.5 billion CFUs of probiotics while our 24 Strain Probiotic contains 30 billion CFUs. You can certainly take both products at the same time, but if you feel that Bio Complete 3 and Total Gut Restore are working for you, then it may not be necessary. 🙏

    A lot of us followers of PP are wondering why, on the yes list, is organic heavy cream, sour cream, etc, but not butter? We could literally make butter from that organic heavy cream (doesn't say it has to be from A2 cows) and we wouldn't be able to eat it? Would LOVE some explanation please!!!

    • @celeste-236
      @celeste-236 2 года назад

      The answer is protein. There’s no protein in heavy cream or sour cream. But there’s a small amount in butter, that’s why those who are highly sensitive to that protein, use ghee. Also, the A1 milk & it’s cheese products contain a protein that in some people, latches on to their pancreas & destroys its ability to function, which is how older people, in their 60’s can develop type 1 diabetes, which requires them to inject insulin multiple times a day. Because their pancreas is no longer making any, from the damage caused by the protein in A1 milk & cheese & butter .

    Doesn't the stomach acid kill the probiotics we eat, like in yogurt and supplements?

    • @GundryMDYT
      @GundryMDYT  2 года назад +1

      Hi there, thank you for your question! The role of your stomach acid is to break down the nutrients for your body to absorb! Hope this helps, please let us know if you have any additional questions!

      Sauerkraut is a better source of probiotics than yogurt. I learned from another video the probiotics in yogurt do not make it to the large intestine. Sauerkraut however does.
