They agreed to a draw because Black put White in an infinite loop check pattern. Black offered the draw first (initiated handshake) since only the black player could choose to not do the infinite repeating pattern.
beautiful tactic by Abdusattorov at 7:35 that magnus missed. Abdusattorov can take the pawn with the Rook because if Magnus takes the rook, with his own, Abdusattorov's queen delivers checkmate by taking the now unguarded rook on d1!

The same goes when magnus at the age of 13 draw againts garry kasparov This moment makes no suprise at all
that was different. magnus was winning against kasparov
@@niranjanj8601 no he wasn't, magnus said that he had the winning position, but draw is a draw
@@niranjanj8601 So was Nodirbek here after Magnus blundered
@@soloassasins9407 magnus had winning chances against Kasparov. Here the case isn't similar.
@@niranjanj8601 it's similar I think u didn't watch the live stream , white had winning position also, he is clear 2 pawn up and no possible counter attack from black , how much does he need to winn😂😂

he didnt win
@@fraykamp913 they draw? Or who win?
Fr
yes, they drew
@@fraykamp913 what draw.. abdu win
I just watched all 9 minutes and 35 seconds of this video and I have no idea who won.
They agreed to a draw because Black put White in an infinite loop check pattern. The black player can move his queen between the same 2 spots and force the white king to move between the same 2 spots infinitely. Black offered the draw first (initiated handshake) since only the black player could choose to not do the infinite repeating pattern.
@UClF4ekQNZGGLhITRtittQgw watched the official match, it was a draw if you watched the tournament you'd know.
you can move the pawn to b3 for protection
@@tipper1700 doesn't help. The king can not get out of the 1 and 2 files

@@demiurg25 exactly, mix of fear and admiration i think :)
beautiful tactic by Abdusattorov at 7:35 that magnus missed. Abdusattorov can take the pawn with the Rook because if Magnus takes the rook, with his own, Abdusattorov's queen delivers checkmate by taking the now unguarded rook on d1!
I suppose Magnus noticed that tho. There's no way he would miss it

Understandable, considering that draw against a 15 year old kid could have costed him the title
