@@jamestulk5111 In 1991-93, the AFL would allow one final to be played out of Victoria, but only for the first week. This was not applicable to 1993, hence we got the first night final in Week 1. By 1994, with the expansion to the Final 8, finals could be played outside Victoria for the first three weeks, although the MCG rule of one final per week still remained for another decade.
