We love staying there. It is a lot of walking and food is pricey but staying near the boardwalk is priceless. The pools are awesome plus I love to swim laps and they have two lap pools.(bonus) I made two videos on RUclips one when we stayed at the Dolphin and one at the swan. Hopefully you got to try some ice cream ( best ice cream on Disney property)and thanks for sharing with us. Felt like I was walking around with you.
I've never stayed at the Dolphin but have eaten at Shula's so I've seen the lobby area, which is nice. The Dolphin at $300 per night is probably a good value relative to other places on Disney property that easily go for more than $500. I'd definitely consider booking it after seeing this grand tour...Brian sold me on it.
Thank you so much for this great video! I have never seen such a detailed video on this place. I am with you…so many hotels go for a more minimalist look and sterile feel, in the name of modernizing a place. I HATE that! I prefer a warmer feel with more decor in general and interesting things to look at. If people think that is dated, I’ll happily take “dated” anytime! Glad you enjoyed the hotel!
Great video Brian! Very smart to hold the door open with your foot when you went out on the stairs! Getting locked out on the stairs is no Joke! I once got locked out on some stairs in Hong Kong and was stuck a few hours till I was able to get back in lol!
We just stayed at the Swan. No doubt it was very nice and you can’t beat the location. The only trouble we had-we bought a package deal through disney, and when it was time to link up our tickets and photo pass, it was very difficult. The magic band doesn’t work with swan and dolphin for purchases either. We were sent to 3 different people for our photo pass to get linked up. When I told cast members snout this, they were confused until I told them where we were staying. I guess it’s common for these linking issues with the Marriott hotels. But we couldn’t beat the price. So it was worth the hassle.
The Swan and Dolphin is SO underrated. Once we stayed there it ended up being the only place that we'll stay at now. The new bus system is a pain BUT you can easily walk to the boardwalk hotels busses and get on there. There's so many food options especially with EPCOT being so close during a food festival it's the best place to be. There's also some home away from home feels for me there since I'm from Cape May and the Cape May Cafe is right on the Boardwalk designed around our boardwalks from the Jersey Shore. It's a stunning location at night and right at sunset over the lake is the best time to walk over to Epcot for the fireworks.
It’s such a fun hotel, we always stayed there then moved to Wilderness Lodge and then the Contemporary. We may revisit the Dolphin though. The parking charges are high though. The Swan and Do.pin had the coolest Disney gift stores, are they gone now? Thanks for the tour.
Coffee pot remark, I'm so happy I'm not alone on that! Lol and true, goodies are wayyyy expensive but if the dolphin got rid of the rugs and kept the pricing... It would be perfect!
I'm with you on the coffee pot thing. No matter how upscale the hotel is, I never use hotel room coffee makers. Used by so many people and you question just how clean it is.
We stayed at Dolphin during marathon weekend for the first time. I really enjoyed it! I am sad we didn't get to really explore, but we will be back! I normally don't go for the standard hotel room, either!
We have stayed at the Dolphin a few times. With Marriott elite status the rate for the Dolphin is usually around $150 a night which can be a great bargain at Disney. The location is great if you want access to Epcot or Hollywood, as well as Boardwalk and all the restaurants, plus it is very easy to use these hotels as drop off/pick up points for Uber
My favorite hotel designed by my favorite architect.
Thanks for dropping this video on a Friday. What a great way to start the weekend; watching MSM!
Glad you enjoyed it!

According to Wikipedia, the statue on top of the Dolphin hotel is 56 feet tall. Enjoyed the vlog!
Thank you for the tour really like seeing it. I know I would never be able to go there. So again thanks for the tour.
Welcome 🙏

That is true

I've stayed there often. We go to the Food and Wine Classic in November and they even held it in the ballrooms one year during inclement weather.

We stayed there in January 2020 and enjoyed it very much.💜
I would love to stay there looks awesome I would stay one night

Thank you so much for such a detailed review of this hotel. It was super helpful.

Staying at Swan on our next trip, so this was helpful just getting a vibe for the resort complex and what’s available across a walk way. Thanks
$15 for a shot of Tito’s is on par with other WDW drink locations. The cost of alcoholic beverages on Disney property has become insane.
You might as well go buy a bottle and bring it with you, I guess! Even if you only drink 2 or 3 shots worth!
$15 for a shot is a crime. It's like they're saying we know you have money so get ready to get the shaft. The ice cream place is very good though.
Show me the top floor !
