Volunteer firefighters tackle pressurized container fires at hands-on training course

On Saturday, Nov. 18, local volunteer firefighters participated in an optional eight-hour training course on how to handle pressurized container fires and avoid container explosions. The course, hosted at Beaverdam Volunteer Fire Department and Oglethorpe County High School, was offered through Georgia Fire Academy.
