I find your videos very helpful. I am visually impaired and love making bags and your videos are the most helpful ones for me to understand. Every time I see you post a new one though I think, OMG! I have to make that bag!
I love your videos! I made my daughter a trailblazer and did it slightly bigger to fit a computer pocket in. It fits a 15” computer! I might try this one too!
Thank you for this video, Jess! Bagstock Designs is one of my favorites! The owner was kind enough to show my post for the Trailblazer backpack so I will always use and promote Bagstock Design patterns. The bags are adorable. Thanks again for this tutorial!

Hi Jess 🙂. I notice you mention it’s possible to use Chicago screws instead of rivets in your videos. I have looked online for some screws with very short posts (so it’s not sliding on the project) but am not having any luck. Do you happen to know where I can buy any? Also, what length would you recommend for a basic thickness project and for a really thick project? I love your videos! Thank you!
Be careful that your rivet doesn't go through the zipper pocket if you add it. I couldn't tell where the placement would be but it would be such a shame to make that pocket useless.
I love the Bagstock patterns, but she uses so much foam, and I'm terrified of trying it. It's purely a "me" thing, and I'm going to take the plunge one day. Your projects are always so perfectly cut out and I aspire to that because perfect cuts make much better sews.
I totally understand! Foam is actually surprisingly easy to work with. It's "tall" but soft so it doesn't add a whole lot of bulk. But for this bag I only used decovil light, no foam.
Take the plunge! When you do you will be so sorry you waited .. honest!! Foam just "squishes" right down under your foot so it's not a very thick layer to see but it takes your bags to a whole new level!!
You’re absolutely a great teacher! Thank you for sharing your skills.
Great video - I have had the pattern for awhile and now am inspired to make it up

Aww! The lil Kiki cameo is so cute 🥰
Love this! Your fabric choices are amazing! And I love the thunder sounds in the background when you're doing the gusset. I love a good thunderstorm.
Your sewing skills are top level…Kiki is adorable ❤❤❤❤

A guest appearance by your husband and the bird! 😁
I really like this pattern. The only change I would make is I wish the zipper panel was longer.
I was wondering if anyone would notice those two goof balls! And I agree, I think the zipper could be a little longer.

@@ericscave Wow, I haven’t seen any so short. Thank you so much!!! 😊 I hope you have a wonderful day!

Good tip! Luckily the zipper pocket is lower down.

You can always swap out the stabilizers, I’ve done that on some Bagstock bags.
Foam is so easy to use, don't be scared!

I made mine with no foam and it holds up fine. Been using it for over a year now daily for work.
