I see someone who is still trying to console her 13 year old self. Someone who has grown up far too soon to fill up her father's shoe and indeed she did so well. She helped settle around 5 siblings at least, and been there for her mother too. People in the comments section are judging her for the segments of choices she made, be it bold scenes in Bollywood movies, as she mentions, but people are ignoring the fact about why she did it. Sometimes we make choices that are not ours but those which would bring comfort and happiness to our loved ones and she did the same by achieving financial freedom FOR THEM. Now that she is done doing so much for them and seen them all settled down, she is now finding time, love and effort for herself. May I say she is just simply discovering herself all over again.
Oh by the way, this comment is coming from someone who hasn't watched even a single piece of her work. I just simply watch Samina ji's interviews to simply learn something new from the guests she invites over.

Also want to add, if talking about bold scenes, just check the dressing our actresses wearing in award shows, they are in Pakistan n doing same. So we shouldn't have right to criticise one person because of dressing or bold scenes in India, everyone is doing it even their personal pics on instagram are the proofs.

P S you are right so many son left parents and siblings in bad time but a daughter never left so many examples out there but someone give me one example any man sacrifice his life for parents.
She is a true artist with many layers to her personality because of her life experiences, that’s why most people will not understand her and she has created a shell because of all the criticism she has to face.
What I loved about her was the emphasis she paid on change. We love to romanticize the past and dwell in its essence. Seeing her its so evident that she has changed and she is advocating that with full flourish. Kudos to her for doing this. Even Faisal Qureshi was praising himself but ppl are quite alarmed by a woman, who is well aware of her credibitiles and wears it on her sleeve. Proud of u masha Allah. May Allah bless you.
Don't judge her or say negative about her. We don't know from what she has gone through. I found her pure & innocent from inside. A little reflection of Meera's, I saw in her.

I learnt a few things from her in this interview. It doesn't matter what someone does or where they come from if you have a mindset to learn you can learn from anyone or anything.
She is actually showing that she is a legend.. An evergreen legend.. Whereas she not at all a brilliant actress.. She is she a good actress

She’s talking about dupatta now, which is very good, I really appreciate that...I remember, in our class picnic, she & her cousin came in bikinis, when she was in her twenties...at french beach, and our Fournier Teacher, was shocked, because (teacher) she was in her full kurti & jeans and she (Pakistani) was in bikini.....She looks gorgeous in the Pakistani movie called Anjuman....People are bashing on her but you never know the pain and struggle she has gone through...I didn’t like her as a person before, cause she was rude to me for no reason, but I really appreciate the way she looks after her family, like usually fathers do....
