He's still got a bit to go in his craft yet. He left some things out there that could have made this even better. Had he sold that belt shot better after the choke slam he could have done an overcome the head shot bit as he's dropping the shoulder straps. Invests the crowd, gives the TV audience a richer array of emotion. but he's come a great deal in his time, and I'm happy for him.
@@UtopssAKAPJ according to an interview with Wardlow, Jeff complimented after the swanton on Lance Archer. The words were: great swanton,very graceful.

I love that "the understudy" Wardlow has won a belt before "the leader" MJF, when Maxwell comes back there's some fuel for the fire.
I think that’s very fitting, since the core of MJF’s character is his excessive ego.
I think this should be the case and MJf Should win the world title when he does win a title. I always wanted MJF to be the TNT champion so a feud vs Warldow in this title pictures should be amazing.

He was over with me before he even started doing the power bomb symphony. I've been waiting for them to make him a top contender for a while now. Nice to see it finally happening. I hope he gets the push for the main event belt soon. Really happy he won gold, just not the belt I think he deserves.
What development?? I'm sorry he is running the Batista story from the late 2000's. I will say we have identified the fresh face that should soon be the AEW champion. Not knocking Wardlow's work give him all the credit in the world, and I hope he goes on to be the face of the company. But the storyline is very reminiscent that's my point.

I remember when I first saw Wardlow and I laughed at his name and didn’t think anything of him. Years later I’m glad to say I was proven wrong. Good on AEW for building a wrestler up and making it feel like a big deal.

They TNT Title needs a year-long champion & Wardlow would be a great choice to make that happen. As long as the belt gets rehabilitated after the Scorpio/Sammy/Kaz disaster.
I don't know if it will be a year-long reign, but Wardlow should have it until CM Punk returns and reclaims his AEW title.
Then have Wardlow lose the TNT championship in a multi-man match where he's not the one that gets the pinned so he's still protected and looking strong.
Then he can go on to challenge CM Punk for the AEW title and show everyone that he was just being held back while in MJF's "leash".

@@ds2k15 hmm actually, would be better storywise for Wardlow to mow through everyone with the TNT title, then lose it in a multi-man match, challenge Moxley, win the title then have a Wardlow vs CM Punk to see who is the real champion when he returns.
Wardlow almost beat Punk but MJF cost him the match, so storywise Wardlow wants to prove that he "won" that match and can do it again.
Then have the CM Punk vs Okada dream match, doesn't need to involve a title for that.

Can we all just take a second to realize the kind of talent this man is. A man his size usually does not do the acrobatic things I’ve seen Wardlow do and so effortlessly and flawless like come on look how beautiful and smooth that swanton was

As much as I hate seeing Scorpio Sky lose the TNT Title again after only a couple months, I think taking the championship off of him was the right choice since he's still injured and Wardlow honestly couldn't afford to lose here even if the stipulation could've given him an out for a rematch because of interference. They cooled him off a little bit, but Wardlow is absolutely the guy to bring the title back to relevancy with how over he is now and I hope he gets a long enough reign to bring the prestige back to it that we haven't seen really since Miro was champion.

@@realmr360 In 6 months or so absolutely, but not anytime soon since Miro still just recently returned and it seems like he may be starting a feud with Malakai Black for a bit now given what happened at Forbidden Door and the promo he cut on him on Dynamite last night.

I’m glad it’s Wardlow taking the title. He’s got so much momentum and is a young and rising star. Definitely a future AEW world champ in a couple years. I hope he holds the belt for a while and brings some stability for the title.
This is what I wanted to see, Wardlow as TNT champion.
AEW has no choice but to take the TNT title more serious and give it more momentum now, especially with a celebration like that. Wardlow is undeniable and he's over af. Hopefully they do right by this reign.
You could hear the thunder of the crowd through the TV and I can't even imagine how loud it was in the arena when he got the 1 2 3. Crowning moment for a megastar that's only going to get better with time.

Wardlow, Jade, and Yuta are great recent success stories when it comes to building new stars.
So happy with Wardlow winning the title!!! I know most of us fans agree that the TNT has been derailed since Miro lost the title to Sammy almost a year ago but I think Wardlow is the perfect guy that can bring back the prestige to the title if they make him defend it regularly on Dynamite against top contenders.

Scorpio was working injured. He's probably gonna be out for months.
Scorpio Sky is really good wrestler and can cut a really great promos. The only one you should blame for the TNT title picture is Tony Khan he booked it very badly. No matter how good you are that kind of booking will make you look bad.
Also Sky is injured while wrestling Dante Marin and now this match. You have to acknowledge how hard he works. I hope TK will give him a better title reign in the future because he has a lot of untapped potential and the way they booked his TNT title run was a slapped to his face.

Also, ratings may not look great in a vacuum but are actually fine in perspective (Dynamite is always one of the most seen programmes on cable tv on the day of airing).
