He does that a lot. It's kinda refreshing; the fake nature of a lot of wrestling moves is overlooked so often, so it's kinda refreshing when someone does something this simple to counter a move. (It also doesn't hurt that it doesn't actually damage the move, since it's still going to hurt when the move connects!)

that is still one of my favorite things Joe does, looks stunned, opponent goes for big move off the turnbuckle only for Joe to casually walk out of the way

Rampage needs their own set of wrestlers and story lines and 2-hours slot.

Like a brand split? NO! AEW doesn't have the amount of wrestlers in their roster like NJPW or AAA have.

Warjoe The Team We Didn't Require But Now We Need 🔥🔥🔥
Joe simply walking away from a springboard/diving move in matches has always been one of his best quirks and one that's unmistakably his as I don't think I've ever really seen anyone else do it. He's one of the only guys who can look like the badass he is by doing that while also not burying the person doing the move because it's something you should realistically be able to just move out of the way of in a real fight

I feel like they don’t know how to book wardlow. They got him in everyone else’s fued. The most memorable moment was his fued with mjf. It felt more important than when he won the belt

There is not much you can do with Wardlow if all he ever does is squash people. He needs to be capable of losing.

@@krim7 I somewhat agree. Moxley lost like 3 times in 3 years and he is the champ and a great one at that.
Wardlow needs somebody to lose to without looking like a geek. Also he needs to figure out how to structure his matches so that they are more exciting. I think the best David vs Goliath match I've ever seen was Brock Lesnar vs Bryan Danielson at Survivor Series. If Wardlow learns that level of selling, at the right time against the right opponent ofc, the sky is the limit for him.
He might be lacking some in ring experience. The Rock and Steve Austin were basically brawlers but also the most over guys ever. Wardlow can do backflips and other more modern moves too. If he figures out how to get the crowd behind him by just standing there menacingly he will be unstoppable.
