I’ve tried this, but the dried flowers repel the liquid. Kinda like water on duck feathers. Maybe gel food coloring would work better? Or food coloring markers? Resin dye mixed with alcohol?
Hi Kammy, what flower have you tried it with? I've only used it so far with baby's breath and the flowers were really, really dry and I think that's what allowed it to absorb the alcohol ink. It could also be the concentration of your alcohol ink. I'm still growing a bunch of flowers for the summer and will update whether I could also color those with alcohol ink but I think the concept here is that the flowers are really dry for it to want to absorb liquid.
Hello. I have used these flowers in my resin projects and none of them have faded in color. If you look at some of the projects in my channel, you would see some that I've used recently, almost a year later and the color has not faded even when used in resin.
Hi Charlene, this video was taken 7 months ago and the flowers haven't faded, the color is still there. It should last for a long time. Here's how I make alcohol inks using sharpies or markers. ruclips.net/video/HYmfuq1sfFQ/видео.html

@@PollyArtsCo I used baby’s breath as well. It was probably the alcohol to coloring ratio then. Thanks!
Kammy, I happened upon a different flower to use with alcohol inks and have an update video. ruclips.net/video/7XtI-7iVdBc/видео.html
