Idk how many times I’ve rewatched this. Honestly, the most haunting, gritty, and emotional rendition of this song.
This was one of my son's favorite songs. He died four years ago. It is true. He did not belong here. he was beautiful. He was an angel. Now he floats like a feather.. was not a creep or a weirdo. He was just a young boy who was a sensitive spiritual soul and too good for this cruel world

IMO, Dalton has a strong and beautiful voice with a lot of control. Vincint's emoting, along with his voice and delivery, made it a 'next level' performance. One of my favorite songs.

I agree. I think he should have reversed them and done Heaven first. I think it had something to do with the choreography for the second song. I think (at the time) he probably felt that would make more of an impact so he saved it for the sign off portion.

I think the judges' comments did not match [too mundane] his performance. Diddy was the only one who truly reacted and said something that was reflective of how unique his talent was in this performance🤔

This was the best performance on the show. However, Zhavia should have won, which is being realized in time as she is the only one who has made it beyond the show. It wasn't about the singer with the best or most powerful vocals. It was about the singer with the most marketable and likable voice. That was Zhavia. She didn't have the power nor range of any of the remaining singers, but had a voice that was unique and marketable.

Sadly, I agree with you. And, I believe that's why art -- I mean *real art* -- is in decline. Rather than appreciating a thing for what it is in itself, the dominant culture rewards what it can market. Art is antithetical to profiteering. I'm not against making a buck, but the reason real artists struggle year after year is because the culture wants something 'new' and 'fresh' to stimulate it's largely attention-deficit demeanor. It's a tragedy that, for the most part, is lost upon the masses. But the artists -- again, the *real artists* -- get what I'm saying here. As McKenna was fond of saying, *"Culture is not your friend."*

It was a one man show. Every single note, move, face expression was timely, meaningful and perfectly executed. It was subtle, not overdone and not grotesque. He was talking to the audience, emoting. That is why I keep coming back to it over and over. I cannot help myself. I just enjoying his brilliant show.

I disagree. Kelly Clarkson performing I surrender. During her season. When you could tell it hurt her to even talk. That was one of the best performances ever on a live show. If you have not seen it. I suggest you look into it. She was in pain the entire time she was singing. Her vocal chords were stressed. no idea still how she pulled off that performance. Not perfect. but I knew she was going to win after that. I havent seen anyone else that has ever put themselves in pain to perform. Risk their vocal chords. Come out triumphant.
