I'm 68 years, and I have the Radiohead CD with this song. "...I want to have control...I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul. I want you to notice when I'm not around..." my favorite lyrics as boy, aargh, that's me. After a brutal marriage (of 10yrs), I was able to ground myself, and I was fine. My heart was in love with a man 8yrs younger than myself. My head said "No! No!!". My heart won, and we've been together for over 30yrs. This song came out just about the time we finally got together, and I love the place it takes me to when I hear it 🙃

No one will ever top Brian's performance. He starts it off so vulnerable. So tender and longing and then when he takes off he shows you exactly how deep that wound is in his soul. Nobody. I mean nobody will ever do this song better. Ever. It's too bad he doesn't get more recognition and popularity from it. I have always been a big fan.
Best rendition of Creep Ive ever heard. It's stuck with me all these years - and I still play this version regularly to remind me of the talent that touched me the first time I heard this.
We all feel like creeps sometimes and anytime I hear this song by whoever, it touches me and wow did he put up a sting to the heart and brain of our souls.

Tom Balls version has an insane amount of talent also.
That is how every performance on these shows should be. Crowd allowing the voice to be heard without constant screaming, cheering and whistling. Often, too many times you don't hear enough of an actual voice, so this actually makes me appreciate the song and performance more.
I agree 💯 but, It’s up to the performer to force the audience to stfu so you can hear them sing.

God-given talent; may the Holy Father’s blessings continue to rain down on him. If he and/ or his mother are/is unsaved, I pray that they are introduced to and accept Jesus as their Savior. Bless his mom for her strength and patience to encourage and support her son especially during the tough times of his life!
I actually love when the audience is not applauding - they were sooooo far taken away by his voice - they simply forgot and just couldn’t - that’s a talent!!! Awesome
This version. The pain of his identity for all of us to see… brought me to tears and this version, is my favorite version. To me, this song is his! Amazing performance
He didn’t make this version only copied it. The actual version like this has been out over a decade and done better overall by Daniela Andrade. Though in this one his high notes are beautiful he just needs work on the soft notes. Soft notes take a lot more talent to hold while sounding good.

Best vocal performance of all time for me! I saw this when it was first broadcasted, since then I come back every year to watch this. Gives me goosebumps every single time
A solid four seconds of silence after the song before the audience applause. Everyone was so overwhelmed by his performance they gave the greatest accolade an audience can offer.
Yet at other AGT videos people complain about the way they edit these videos

Im a huge fan of Radiohead and this song and its like the 25th time i have seen this and everytime Brian gets me...I sit there, not moving, jaw dropped, cigarette burning out in my hand, just mesmerized by it... every second of it. He took that version from Daniela Andrade. He only needed to practice. The high notes are great but his soft notes could use work.

That was his night ! He as a control over his voice and the air ...he blew that place up , and he blew me away the first time i herd him . He's actually the Only singer that i come back to listen each years , its something about that interpretation that helps me exult my anger and sadness with the high part , its just incredible !

Heidi made the understatement of the century when she said one of the best singers that year. He literally gives me goosebumps he’s so good.
There's that few moments of silence when he finishes, that's the sign of a great performance, and then the audience just explodes!! And he does it all with just his voice. No costumes, no fancy dance moves, no pyrotechnics, no pretty background, just his voice and his emotion. Unbelievable.😅

I never liked that song until I heard it with Justin. Every time I watch the video I get goosebumps, what a way to interpret it and how much feeling it brings when singing it. How talented!

Searching this up in September 2023, because it touched me and still need to Listen to this beautiful version. Still gives me tears, just beautiful. You reached your goal of making people feel something, even if you were on a show like this where it's premeditated and they lock you into a crappy contract.

My nephew was bullied by the same mean kid for 7 years. The school wouldn't do anything in regards of our complaints, repeatedly!!! But today he is 23 and the kindest, most caring and loving young man I have ever known . I guess it made him who he is today! And you too!! I had the pleasure of seeing Brian at a small nightclub in San Diego, a few years ago. He was incredible, and it was truly a great evening. I met him after the show, congratulated him on his success, and we took picture together. 😊
He really has TALENT, and he reminded me of a young Sam Harris who also got his start on tv decades ago. Brian will be around for years to come! 🤗

He definitely knew his specialty when he said he wants people to feel things when he sings because he did exactly just that.
Also this reminded me of Calum Scott's first audition on Britain's Got Talent in 2015 when he performed Robyn's 'Dancing on My Own' and made it his own.

I heard the Kings of Leon version before Calum's version and I can tell you very well that those are different version. And lastly Calum's version is way more intimate, slower and it's just unique for me. He definitely owned that song. He sang it his own way and definitely not like the Kings of Leon. But this is my opinion and that's your opinion, so let's just respect each other's opinions.

@S133pyy from a technical perspective Tom ball was better but as a performance that moves the audience this is better. We as the audience don't understand all the technicalities with these performances so we choose the acts that move us the most
His mixed voice is on another level. Probably the best Creep performance out there. Bravo!
