on level 4's an MTU is a pretty good good idea for cases just like that. At least that's what I have been told. :) that was a lot of fun to watch! Very nice!
That's the nice thing about the myrmidon. It isn't bonus for any specific high slot weapon so everything is just as grand as everything else! I also run a pvp myrm that has tons of neuts.
I used to fly a similar Myrmidon in high sec, but these sites were much easier for me because I had Gallente BC 5 and some implants (highly recommend RS-603 and RP-903). I also much prefer the setup with the multispectrum energized membrane and the reactive armor hardener, because you end up being much tankier against gankers and MTU trolls.
Myrmidon is quickly becoming one of my favorite ships: versatile (changeable damage types with drones), agile (surprisingly nimble and fast, especially with a nanofiber), powerful (blasters make go boom), resilient (dat armor rep bonus tho), and vertical. I mean, what's not to love?! For the price tag, you really can't go wrong.
Only problem with BC ships doing L4'S is you need really good skills, and I know why your focusing on BC because of price compared to BS TBH, run L3's in a .5 or.6 system and you'll run L3's so much easier, basically blitzing them all the while gaining isk and skilling up for either BS or T3 ship skills.
It is a fine ship, but boring for my taste. The main problem right now is battleship prices. I'm just suggesting cheaper options until the market settles.

I am definitely going to try an Autocannon myrmidon.

Do you use mobile tractor with your ship?

I use the same station.
It's a great hub!
