Hey! Sorry if this is a bit of a weird query, I’m a part time hairdresser in the UK and was curious how you’re able to have/ use so many different colour lines in your salon due to patch tests? Do you use certain brands on certain clients that have been patch tested for that colour line? I feel like hairdressing differs so much in the UK compared the the US. Ps I love your videos and you’re the reason I went back to college at the age of 26 to study hair! 😊
I get if you ask for opinions, but like you said, you didnt people are just un happy with themselves and try and roll the negative energy to anyone they can so they feel better. They expose their character and yeah its hard to read tone in txt but either say something nice or simply dont say it at all. I teach my daughter this. I think my hormones were out of whack from being on hormonal birth control for so long and then stopping cold turkey, and the symptoms of that were misdiagnosed. I’ve been off the pill for over 3 years now, and I haven’t had any symptoms of PCOS since.

Yup! I'm sure it varies by state. But here in NC, if you're just serving and not selling, there's a very simple one-time permit you get online. Not exactly the same as a liquor license.
Hi Sam! I’m curious for your opinion as you recently opened your own salon suite: Over the summer my colorist opened her own salon suite and I was so excited to support her because her work is amazing and she is a lovely person (she’s actually the only person who has ever done my hair since I started coloring it in 2018). Anyway, I went to my first appointment in her suite and I found myself leaving quite disappointed for various reasons… it seemed like the quality of her work and the experience just went downhill while I was still paying upwards of $700+ for a full highlight. The whole experience felt rushed (even though she had her assistant helping) and I noticed that she hardly took her time to let my hair lift and with my trim. As a result the highlights were uneven which I noticed there at the salon but did not say anything (blonde in the mid lengths + ends while brassy orange closer to the root). While styling my hair she didn’t even apply hair oil or a hairspray, all things that she always did at the salon. I understand those products are pricey, but I’m still paying the same amount I was while at the salon so I expected the same luxury experience. Anyway, I’m wondering if this is just a transition phase that happens for people who go from the salon to their own suite, or if I should make the change and just seek out a colorist from the previous salon… if you get to reading this, I’d appreciate your feedback, thanks Sam!

Hi Sam! I found myself, during this whole vlog, just focusing on your hair and wondering, as a stylist, why you don’t think there’s something wrong with it. It just looks like synthetic hair, stringy, dirty, the flow just doesn’t flow and I don’t know how you’re happy w it. The front pieces are still out and when they’re “blended” they’re a totally different texture than the extensions. Maybe it’s the dark color? But it’s just not doing anything for you😕
