You absolutely right going 1080p. Having for example a "budget" pc which can run every game at 80-90 fps on high/ultra settings is much more worth it then going out spending 3000$ to play in 4k. IMO !!! Not to mention all the shenanigans going on with some publishers... My friend for example has a Pc worth over 3000$ and he couldn't start up RDR 2 for 2 days... I rather spend 1000$ and have the same problems like him. :)
I love how this is a monitpr review but up till 5 minutes in it is all about the monitor stand

New to the monitor thing. Just found out I was still on my old tv 30hz lol doing great on gaming no issues . Till my son clowned me said dad you still on old stuff. Try higher hz never new that.

It's ok 1080p144 is still lit in this day and age..i prefer using 1080p over 1440p as my tv is already in 4k,high refresh rate is still the utmost importance
I still want 1440p 144hz eventually... maybe by 2025 😎

Hi Jerry: I want to ask you about this AOC Monitor. There is cheap right now in my country but I want to know if you think it is for me or not. I am an average level pc user(casual gaming and casual edition. Mostly i use my computer for multimedia entertainment). My setup is with ryzen 5 1600 and a gtx 1060 6 gb. I recently bought a lg 24mp59g but it hurts my eyes and the blacks are gay. So I am thinking to get a VA panel monitor or this AOC. Even if it has a TN panel does it has good colors and adjustments? What do you think. ?

Hi man, have you made any color calibration settings on it, can you help us with your settings? The straight outta box colors are kinda washed out unless i set the shadowplay on 40, but then dark shades of grey become very close to dark

It's the same thing except the PX has a better stand and USB ports in the back

Yeah there's a clamp to hold it up, it's pretty solid. You do have the option of drilling into the desk though but that's too permanent of an install for me lol

SpexZ Is cracked all depends on where you are gaming at for example with thick curtains or at night or if you have bright lights in your room natural sunlight

50 Contrast/Brightness, Gamma 3, Gamer 2 GameMode, Multimedia LowBlue Mode, Medium Overdrive. Those are my non-calibrated settings that look good IMO

If you have an Nvidia GPU (only 10 series and up IIRC), you can enable G-Sync with this monitor, yes

How monitor can be too bright? No settings for brightnes? Or u can't change it on pre-options for gaming or something like that?
It does get super bright for sure. I'm running it at 50 brightness right now

Download the latest Nvidia driver and make sure you have your graphics card connected to your monitor via display port. After that you have to go into the Nvidia control panel to enable G-Sync
@@JerryNeutron i allready done that i use display port 1,2 cable that came with the monitor, but it dosent apper the option with the g-synk in the controp panel nvidia, do you know if is an option to enebel it from the monitor menu?
No, there is no option that I am aware of
You need a 1060 or better in order to enable gsync
