Or they were until now because that’s the best audio recording from a bluetooth microphone of any kind that i’ve ever heard by a fair margin. I wonder how they work for tuning background noise in OR out? This phone is truly incredible best most groundbreaking android i’ve seen since the S8.
I'm a little late to the party. Just picked up my N20U yesterday and coming from a Note 9 I will say it is absolutely night and day difference in vid/pic quality and processing speed. This N20U camera review is by far the best one I've seen. Short, sweet, and straight to the point. Excellent videos like this are what makes a successful RUclips channel. Subscribed! 👍👍👍

darn that's what i was hoping they would fix is the difference in the front facing and selfie facing camera I feel like the quality actually looks better on the selfie face and camera than on the front facing camera

Joshua, I received my Note 20 Ultra yesterday and just tried using the super slow motion video. Is the quality poor for you inside and then kind of grainy outside? My last phone was the S8+ and super slow motion looked better on that, in my opinion.

Why everyone talks about Bluetooth audio recording as a new feature with Galaxy Buds and Note20? It works fine with my Galaxy S7 Edge (which is more than 4 years old) and a regular Edifier BT headset, and it is default when bluetooth connection is alive - no matter if you use the front-facing or back camera.
Things that should be standard for all flagships: 1. A great optical zoom 2. Ultra-Wide lens 3. Very good focusing 4. Ability to retain detail/focus even up-close to subjects. Unfortunately, s20 ultra failed with #4. Now I'm basically stuck with it for minimum 1 year and likely 2. 😢 Virtually nobody was talking about s20 ultra inabilities when it comes to close-up near-macro photography. My S9+ had better near-macro/macro than s20ultra which was immeasurably disappointing for a phone that was meant to be an evolution, not a regression.
@@kenbee1957 And also near-macro e.g: a closer shot of animals/insects/pets. I can appreciate having detail that isn't focus/detail limited to a tiny pin-prick-point. Anyone with pets would appreciate how close you could take photos of your pets and still have detail/focus. 😢
@@kenbee1957 used to do it all the time with animals/my pets/food. Now, s20 ultra cam is crap for these types of shots. Near macro/macro includes closer food shots. Ask just about any girl, they'll tell you they take food shots. S20 ultra CAMERA makes this a fiddly process to get a decent food shot.

Ultra would blur the cup too much, because of the shit focus distance/blur because of pin-point of focus. 😢 Countless other situations you could get a real good photo from using Macro techniques on S9+ and S10. , *Note, I do not know if regular s20/s20+ can't do these types of shots. But to get that phone you have to sacrifice your 4x-100x zoom. 108MP is just a gimmick because the kind of lighting(not overcast Daylight) required for it to be decent is so niche, and you have to keep your hand extra-steady like a rock or get a blurred shot.
How do I reduce sun glare when taking pictures towards the sun. I notice a glare streak for instance when I take forest pictures of the sun coming thru the mist. I have to shoot towards the sun. I am using a note 20 ultra.
I got a chance to see the phone at my local tmobile, its probably the most premium feeling and looking phone I've ever seen and held. But, I still like how the stainless steel on the iphone 11 pro feels over the aluminum band on the note 20 ultra.

So far you did a great review. I'm using Note 20u Korean version with Exynos it was fluid fast. S Pen is very active i dont feel any delay. Gesture using S pen for camera is damn awesome. Lastly super fast charging and last 1 day and half for heavy usage video streaming, youtube except gaming i dont have one.

Hi Joshua! I'm assuming you're using Snapdragon version of N20 Ultra? I pre-ordered Snap version in Europe thinking the battery is better but then you mentioned 5 to 6 hours screen on time. That's similar to what Exynos is getting. Thanks
