The only thing I disagree on is that Whitney has an easier time going up high. I think that’s true for Celine and Whitney back in the day,but in the late 2000’s I’d say Celine really mastered upper belts. She could sustain a bb5 with ease,and in the 2010’s she began sustaining c6 belts. I do agree that Whitney was better at mixing than Celine during their youth though
please don’t jump to quick conclusions about celine by watching few compilations videos… i have been a celine fan for more than 10 years and she has definitely been more consistent, versatile, powerful throughout compared to Mariah and Whitney…
I love the vocal trinity, but the technique of Celine is superior, not in these clips, why? Because she started to have great vocal lessons after the 2000's, while Whitney and Mariah started to lose register and quality, because they refused to have vocal lessons.

All of Celine's chosen belts were sustained whereas Whitney's were just words in the middle of a phrase, just a couple sustained belts. Whitney has the best Eb5 pretty much of all time in didn't we almost have it all live, but this person deliberately chose a different performance of the SAME SONG which wasn't as good where she's winded, she's so sweaty even her eyeliner got messed up. No bias here since my fav is Mariah, but I know all about the Trinity and this video definitely has a Celine bias. I mean Celine is in the creator's username

Without mention of Whitney or Mariah, most ou f you don't even know half of what Celine can do or her entire career so when you go around talking about biases you should at least know the singer's performances. You can say Whitney's clips are not her best or they are cut short or they're bad quality but don't talk about bias when Celine's clips are no better.

Celine is a lirico Soprano, while Whitney is a Spinto Soprano. Theyre both evenly matched interms of range, but where they differ is natural ability. Whitney being a spinto means she can push for dramatic & thicker sounding projection in her voice with ease. Hence why some of her notes sound fuller than celine's notes. Theyre both medium voices sopranos, but whitney seems to have more control over all 3 registers. Celine shines on her mixed belts and heavoice. Whitney shines on all 3 lower chest, mixed, andgead voice. Both are amzong vocalist, but if we are knit picking id say whitney has a slight edge over celine.

Céline sustains her high notes a lot for a long in almost every song lol, Witney does it to but not as much and that doesn’t makes Witney less good than Celine, she was literally what pushed Celine to sing so powerfully. is just that Celine does it on every single song
I'm not hating on your opinion but just because you sustain doesn't make you better or worse. So you need a stop that. In plus for Whitney it wasn't about sustaining it was more about feeling and emotion and what she felt like doing at the moment.

@@_brunoduarte_06 Sorry no, according to pedagogies, mix and belt are different but as you go higher with you belt especially above D5/Eb5 you are using less chest but doesn't make it a mix. Mix is m2 while the belt is m1 according to the mechanisms. They're belters not mixers, singers like Sohyang and Ariana Grande above G5 are mixing. Celine uses mixed voice during 2000's.
