Hey, how do you add more crypto to the list of projects in Eliipal... For instance I want to add VOLT which is not listed in the Cold wallet
Is Volt just a token on some other chain?
When adding new account (11:11), you scanned something first. Then after a part of seed phrase appearing on the wallets screen (11:26). That one is NOT same as the first one (3:26) that you wrote on cards. Where is coming the 11.26's phrase list?
That's right. I am adding a second, totally different seed to the device, which I have used in other videos and scanned from a QR code (Rather than entering the words). This is confusing, as other wallet manufacturers let you have multiple accounts with the same seed, whereas Ellipal is referring to each different seed as an account.
Which has the Best Quality of scanner-camera: ElliPal Titan 2.0 or Keystone Pro 3? Which makes the cashout experiencie more smooth?
I didn't notice a difference between the cameras, but the key question of which is better to cash out comes down to software. Basically with Ellipal, if they are having issues with their servers, you just have to wait for them to fix it... With Keystone you can just switch to different wallet software...
Do I have to create the Hot wallet on the app before connecting the hardware device. I find that the phone app won't scan if I try to connect hardware device first. Cheers

Ok thanks mate. I just bought an andriod A05s. And it won't run the barcode scanner in the ellipal app.
Went bit cheap with phone .
It works fine with S series andriod.

Hello Steve! Do you have any information whether Ellipal titan will support older models (Ellipal Titan 1) in the future? Or how Keystone will stop supporting legacy models.

thanks for mentioning the feature to import private keys. i can't get an imported private key wallet to pair with metamask. do you know if this is possible?
I just tested and it doesn't work for lose Eth private keys with Metamask. (You will need to use them with the Ellipal app)

I have found the cards they bundle with it tend to be crap upon further testing, so perhaps try another.

I've just bought The New Titan 2.0 and it looks great I have just a quick question I have the titan mini can I link both together and just use one Ellipal app on my phone .

Great information but i'm having trouble updating a non 2.0 Titan to New Version Update 3.12.0 Gets to 99% copying files then says fail to copy files and I must quit. Can't get past this to complete my update. formatted card to fat. downloaded directly to micro card. Any suggestions as support seems utterly useless.
It's probably a dud MicroSD in this instance, have you tried another?
Thanks Steve Tried the old one that came with my last Titan which died would over heat when trying to charge and not turn on. That worked thanks for the advice reminded me to look in that old box didn't have to run to the store for another new one. Cheers, have a great New Year.

You can use a BIP39 passphrase with Ellipal if you like, but just be aware that if you do so, you need to keep a copy of it backed up somewhere, as it becomes as important as your recovery seed phrase.

You can't, that is the entire point of public key cryptography. (And anyone who tells you otherwise is a scammer)
I'm trying to transfer my XRP from the trust wallet to ellipal. 1) Select Receive on ellipal app, copy the receive address. 2) Paste Receive address in "Send" field in Trust wallet 3) Set amount, (50 XRP, e.g.), 4) When I go to confirm on Trust side (essentially to send the crypto), it fails, saying "failed to sign transaction". When I go into the cold wallet and press 'Sign' next to XRP, I put in my pw and then it is ready to "unsigned data qr code". I thought it meant I had to scan the qr code on the app (either with the amount specified or not), but it just says signature data not loaded correctly. Any ideas? I must be doing something wrong.
Sounds like the issue is simply that Trust wallet can't sign the transaction. Are you able to send XRP transactions elsewhere using Trust wallet?
@@CryptoGuide You are correct that it is an issue on the Trust Wallet side. I was able to initiate a transfer of BSV from my Rock Wallet to ELLIPAL with no issue.

What do you think about the camera-scanner of the Ngrave zero?
The ngrave seems massively overpriced and offer nothing to justify it ..
@@CryptoGuide The scaner sí garbage: it makes You undergo a Lot of pain because it strugles a lot to read the dynamic QR's
Yea I have samples of basically all hardware options on the market, but not the ngrave as the price makes no sense

Keepkey is basically like a Trezor One, so it is a nice device :)
I got my ELLIPAL Titan 2.0 a few days ago. I like it a lot but For some reason my wallet won’t charge. The indicator shows green and charging. When I take it off the charger the indicator turns red and shuts down in 15 seconds. Any Idea.
Basically if it sits on the charger for a few hours and then goes flat in under a minute, you have a faulty battery and will need a replacement.

Do you mean can the dock function as a MicroSD card reader for a PC? If that is what you are asking then the answer is no.

The update is being seen by the device. Also blue dot. It goes to 1% upload v3.11.0 starts and then stops. Any idea?
Could be a loose connection, are you standing it up on the holder so that gravity helps hold it in? Also, have you tried with another power supply?
I had the same problem. I went to Walmart and bought a 32g Sandisk mini sd card, placed the update on it, and then it worked.
Yea sometimes a new MicroSD will help, as the ones they ship with them are garbage

Titan 2 or Keystone Pro 3?
The Keystone 3 is a much better device in many ways, but if you want simplicity above all else then Titan is probably what you want.

Do you mean the balance or just the address? (The hardware device will never show a balance, this is by design)

Hardware wallet is certainly what you want for long term storage.

Basically just go into the Titan and select to receive XRP, then withdraw to this address using uphold.

It's the same workflow for all supported coins/chains.
I got my ELLIPAL titan 2.0 I was able to place my NFT on it but am unable to see on the app. I know it is there cause I can see in the transaction history that it is can anyone help?
Have you tried either connecting via wallet connect or just pairing it with metamask?

You just hit receive with the Ethereum (or whatever chain they are on) and send them to it.
Is a closed source hardware wallet risky?
Basically it requires that you trust the vendor more than with an open source option.
"It's probably fine" is the about the best that can be offered for something closed like this.
how do you send crypto from your coinbase account to your ellipal wallet?
You use the same workflow that I used when receiving Bitcoin with the Ellipal. The only difference is that you send the funds (it will be called withdrawal) from coinbase. (Where you use the recieve address that you get from the Ellipal)

So the simplest way is to start by just sending a small amount. Have you actually given this a try?

Scaling is still certainly an issue, but unfortunately BSV doesn't solve anything. There is a reason why it's being delisted from most exchanges and even existing wallets are dropping support...
@CryptoGuide 🤔 Yes, delisting the original Bitcoin made exchanges a thing. No need to have an exchange when one coin scales, has smart contracts, negligible fees and electricity efficiency increases with more use!
Even if you don't like exchanges, custodial wallets are dropping support as well, but either way, time will tell.
