If you see a glowing skull on the ground, break it as it holds golden runes that can be broken and used to buy more stuff. So many people that I've watched ingored the skulls for hours until they accidentally broke one and discovered what was inside.
Not sure how much this could help others, but... I'll just leave these: * If you're having trouble finding some Illusory Walls, some of them actually require more than one hit to open, sometimes maybe even more than 50. * I wish I knew that I was able to dupe Remembrances, via the Walking Mausoleums (the walking castles you see on the loading screen or on the trailer) * Spending your smithing stones can be safely done early, as you'll find more later on the open world.
The new update has added the +1 & +2 crafting materials to all merchants' inventories. The upgrade materials also drop more often from certain enemies and cost less when purchased. Bear in mind, if you were struggling to find the materials before. Also - crafted pots do much more damage than before the patch
..... I would say "Get Good Scrub", but I understand it isn't for everybody. I've only played Dark Souls: Remastered and Elden Ring. Elden Ring is easier to get in to
Hope these tips will help you explore the land between!
