- Mi-Light RGBW LED Controller Box: The Mi-Light RGBW LED Controller Box is a 2.4GHz RF controllable LED accessory that enables your non-addressable LED strips to change color, dim, and select pre-loaded modes via the Mi-Light Remote Control (sold separately). Essentially, this little plastic box enables any non-WS2812 or APA102 (“NeoPixel” or “DotStar”) LED strips to act as if they were without any other external boards. Set up is simple thanks to an array of screw terminals on either side of the controller box. By just screwing an LED strip’s control wires into the right side of this box and then plugging in power via a barrel jack (or another set of screw terminals) on the left side of the box, you’ll be up and running in no time!

Works great for controlling the lights. I have installed it in my boat, but interferes with the stereo and makes a annoying constant beep-sound. Need to find another rgb-controller
I can't make the color wheel work- The light is just white

Is there a way to re-connect the Mi light remote and controller? I tried to unplug and plug power back to the controller/led strip, but it stays paired to the remote.

The box CLEARLY indicates that this is a WiFi device, which usually means that you load an APP on your Smart Phone and then pair the device with your WiFi network.
THIS IS COMPLETELY UNTRUE
If I am incorrect about this then please tell me where I get the APP FROM.

big shit, the Chinese led controller its better and cost 3$
If you buy the same items off Aliexpress you will be paying not much more than $3. That said the extra Sparkfun charges means that you would get a warranty that has a much better chance of being a success, local support, and quicker delivery. That said all the cheaper similar controllers I've bought ( that uses a credit card sized remote ) aren't neally as useful as the mi-light one. Its only downside I have found is that is goes through batteries quicker than I would like.
