Here's the new solution for the greyed out modifier
download Suck Less Audio > Restart Davinci > Redo all the thing you have to do > right click Size > Modify With > Modifiers > Audio (WAV)

Keyframe > Insert? What? Nevermind, I needed to restart Davinci Resolve after installing reactor now the modify with audio option is there.
Ok Guys! Like everybody here that Grey MODIFIER piss me off Here me out THE SOLUTION :
First Right Click on Size (in transform category) , Then Click on Modify With , Then Select Modifiers (at the end of list) , Then select Audio WAV !

Does this work with a horizontal line visualizer that reacts to music too or is it just an assigned image that reacts to the music?

I followed everything exactly as is in the video, but at 3:10 there a cut and the "Modifiers" button suddenly becomes clickable. That's never explained?
When following everything as done in the video the button never becomes available to click. What did you do during that cut to make the button clickable?

When I right click the word "size" I'm given no options for keyframes.
Doesn't work. Pinned comment is to an old video for version 16 that has different options. There is no way to click onto Modifiers and the pinned video says right click on Size and Modify with Wave File. Again this option doesn't exist.
also for me. wav option doesn't exist

Try to explain little bit slow. You are going so fast that you skipping few things like how to open toolbox or how to open modifier.

After I drag and drop the plugin it will install it although the pop window wont show up so i cant tick and select the reactor and later i dont have the audio wave option in modify section, any ideas ?
I've never come across this before. Im sure if you look up online there will be an answer. BlackmagicDesigns has a pretty solid community that helps out with forums 🤞
late comment, but if anyone else has this issue or need to acsess the menu again u go to the top rows, Workspace-scripts-reactor-open reactor.

The Audio (WAV) option didn't even show up for me until I restarted my entire Resolve, might help someone
I got pretty far, at least to where you upload the wav , and I can see then image jumping to the beat, but I can't hear any audio, and I'm not muted....any help?
you can only hear the audio in the "Edit" section. You cannot hear any audio in the "Fusion" section. This is how it was designed to be.

right click size modify with >modifiers > audio wav
