Christ the Solid Rock - Phillips, Craig and Dean with Lyrics

"On Christ the Solid Rock" is a hymn written by Edward Mote, from London England, in 1834 when the chorus kept going thru his mind. Edward grew up in a godless home, would do cabinetmaking before becoming a Baptist preacher later in life. The verses would come as he ministered to a dying minister's wife. William Bradbury would produce the tune and the hymn was produced in 1867. God Bless You! (Episode 179)
