I always go around yelling in proximity chat that im coming to get them.
And if a bunch of people start respawning without waiting i start adding in 'anyone who sees me running at them and respawns is a f-cking coward' and the like as i run around.
      Usually fixes the issue.

While I haven't play HLL, I happen to agree. In any other games (Lookin' at you Battlefield), Medic is incredibly underrated and disrespected the most. I like helping my team (mostly because no-one is capable or willing to) and having a good time. When I see some people down as a Medic, I do try and get to them. But 9 times out of 10, they'll just respawn- even if they're behind cover or safe. They'll come back as the same class they were, with the same weapon and everything and go charging off to die again. It's... frustrating. On the flip side, when I'm down and I see a medic is near, I pray they see me so I can get help. Or if they are near, I try to signal not to bother if enemies are close by me, to keep them from becoming swiss cheese next to me.

I want to shoutout the angry Tank Commander who demanded nothing less than perfection from me as a Driver in my first game of Hell Let Loose...on FOY of all places! As scary as each engagement was, he guided me through everything I needed to know like a mad drill sergeant. He called out orders like it was real life and I felt like any wrong move would get us killed. At the end of the game, he thanked me and left me a commendation. I may never be that good of a tank commander but if we ever get in a tank again, he'll have the driver he deserves.

On remagen, around Christmas when people were getting the game, I built a little army in game cause I was reviving people, and we got pushed across bridge and I made observation that we would get flanked from above on one of the mountains overlooking the bridge, and I was promoted and told to lead men up there to hold that position, I went up there and became medic/officer, I was running back and forward in the trench reviving the dead and inspiring the alive and we held the entire time and only lost he position cause our team couldn't hold our flank, so we full sent it over the hill into our counter attack and I was Level 26 leading this, it failed, but yeah, that was my promotion to officer in this game.

The 30+ year olds who are either retired veterans or cooling off after work are some of the best. They've always been some of the best team players and squad leads, they know how to give advice and not be a dick, treat the game as an after-work venture and not a full-time job requiring screaming at people, and are often the first to offer you help when you don't know what to do.

This game sucked me in with its combat, but what made me stay indefinitely were two things: the trucks rides to the center point, and screaming ‘medic’.
Those truck rides are some of the funniest shit I’ve ever heard in a game. And after screaming ‘medic’ and having a medic go through Hell just to get to me and tell me everything was gonna be ok and I was gonna see my mom again was extremely funny to play along with. It’s the little things that make you stay.

I started playing yesterday and basically just mained the medic role. My first ever game I was just getting killed left and right but I must have healed like 50+ people. (That game lasted way too long but hey, I went from level 1 to level 10). Playing as a medic, I've definitely loved hearing people scream out for me to go heal them while getting shot at in all directions. I think the best part is just bonding with randoms for a short while. Wish I could see some I met again but oh well.
Edit: If I had one main complaint though, it would have to be people just instantly respawing. I can't count the number of times already where I ran and almost reach them, then poof, they "let go". I'm actually (without any self flattery of course, trying to be objective) the medic and squad leader (and another one not on this list, the supportive and friendly sniper who communicates and cover the ass of my friends and always remain close to my spotter). And for the medic, I will do everything in my power to revive each one of the players and I never let one down, the most insane was one time, a guy was hidding just behind an enemy tank, laying down and the tank didn't saw, and I understood it was a newbie. I crawled to him, I revived him, I asked him to follow him and I brought him back to his squad. The guy was yelling in the microphone of happiness. And of course the squad leader, for me it's just obvious that the squad leader should be the main component for players to actually have a fun time. And it's really not that hard, just follow the commander, give him some suggestions base on what you see on the field that he might not see so he can take even better decisions because have even more information on what is happening, always give clear directions to the squad but also ask questions to what the squad see and feel, and alos not only directions but actually EXPLAIN what is the final goal. If you're goal is to flank them by the East and focus on destroying their garrison, don't give "robotic instructions" like "go to point A, go to point B, please kill the enemy at this point etc...", give something more like "okay guys, we need to flank the enemy by the East, we should go by passing by point A and B on the map, and then we really have to try to destroy the enemy garrison, but if on the way you find a better way to adapt, please do it and tell me, good luck guys" and most important of all, give positive feedback and congrats each player everytime they do an action, so they feel useful. For me I'm playing maybe just 20% of the time squad leader, the rest is on Medic and Sniper, and sometimes Rifleman if I'm in a mood of just not thinking and just playing chill. But everytime I'm SL, I always have great feedback from the squad and sometimes hear things like "you're the best squad leader I had so far" or things like "it was so fun and we played all together, I never saw that before !"
    It always feels great !

@@McBluffinGamingIn a video game, a "battle buddy" refers to a teammate who willingly decides to follow closely with another player during a game. They are responsible for providing support, protection, and assistance to their teammate, often by following them around and helping them achieve their objectives even if the other player doesn't want them bothering them.
The term "battle buddy" comes from military jargon, where soldiers are often assigned a partner to watch their back and support them during combat. In a video game, this concept is translated into a cooperative gameplay style where players work together to achieve their goals and survive in a dangerous virtual world or a single player decides to pick and choose a random player to become their battle buddy for the whole match temporarily.
