- This was a big project for me, spanning several days of consistent work.
I hope it is enjoyable.
I did not include the soviet scoped SVT because I do not have it unlocked, but it is comparable to the scoped FG42 and I would place it beside it. I would say 1% or less of my games are me playing sniper.

The only redeeming feature of the grease gun is that every bullet seemingly has about a 20% chance of being headshot regardless of range.

I feel like the random headshot rate got nerfed a bit a few patches ago. They still happen, but bullets sometimes felt like they were magnetized to helmets back then. Haha
I’ve had way too many random headshots with the greasy boy, sometimes across fields
My best headshot to this day is 1 round from my mp40 at 198 yards.
On Utah beach. Having a recon duel with my buddy. I was spotter. Found the guy, guessed the bullet drop and somehow landed the headshot.

The m1 carbine being put over the MP40 genuinely hurt my soul. Also, as someone who "mains" assault, specifically raider class, the grease gun deserves an automatic fucking F tier. I mean if you're comparing it to the other raider classes that have the PPSH, STG, and Bren gun, it literally does not even compare.
I’m hoping they change the last loadout for the assault class for the American forces someday. Swapping the grease gun for the BAR would be great, but even swapping it for the Thompson would bring it a bit more in line with the other factions’ loadouts for that level.

@@Dallas_2250 If the automatic rifleman class gets the STG on german side, and so does assault lvl 9, you'd assume that the assault class for americans would get the BAR instead of the grease gun lmao
idk what you are talking about. the grease gun is my go to gun for the americans, i understand why on paper its the worst smg, but in practice the gun feels so good and in my opinion the only time you will be outclassed by the mp40 is in very close quarters (clearing a house or a trench). also its a headshot machine with non existent recoil and a very decent sight picture

Its fire rate is so slow I can unironically shoot an m1 garand faster than the grease gun, and in comparison to the other raider classes, the grease gun is dogshit. STG is a 1 shot with faster fire rate, bren gun is a 1 shot, and the ppsh has an insane fire rate.
PPSH not being S tier is a snub. The thing is a headshot magnet, and I dread hearing it when I’m on the other team.
True, I didn't think it matched with the S tiers because it really is not great for long ranges.

Bren gun is pretty good in medium to long range and if you can be on the move, the bipod provides the flexibility if you tryna shoot stable, I’d choose it over Lewis gun anytime.
It's also the only MG that allows you to use sights while not deployed.

stg is the best, its much better than the garand in closer quarters
MG34 has much more controllable hip fire than the MG42. This would have been worthwhile to mention.
I also sometimes use it to confuse the enemy as the mg34 is what is used in tanks

Yes, its rank is mostly due to its low ammo. I almost always run out of ammo when using it.
idk why that is the guns fault. I wouldnt put the fg42 over STG in the same class but a bipod, semi auto selector, and 4 more mags would be S tier.@@commandercrane2563
The Bren is better than the Lewis gun because in a defensive position, it has better FOV because your irons don’t obscure wtf you’re shooting at.
Furthermore, Automatic Rifleman can also use the Bren gun and it is essentially a better BAR. Quick kills, deployable for 2 classes, has 10 more rounds per magazine than the BAR, and faster fire rate than the STG.
NO way the shotgun is that low. Outrageous
It's a lot of fun to use but an SMG is better in most cases. If you're at the right distance from the enemy the pellets will spread out just enough that you can almost always get one shot kills even if your aim is sub par, but that doesn't happen much.

The FG42 not having a bipod pretty much ensured it goes unused. Its horrible at long ranges and its definitely worse at short ranges compared to the STG44 and the MP40. A bipod would have been its only redeeming quality.

Good Tier List! I would only switch the G43 and the M1 Garand. I prefer the sights, and it has more ammo, and no ping which shows the enemy that I‘m out of ammo
You're not considering the Bren for automatic rifleman. The bipod lets it take accurate 2 round bursts from insane ranges, 2 shot kill at like 300m.

7:52 the magazine catch on the mag also gives you a rough estimate on your ammo count/how much ammo you have left until you have to reload
Great content as always, appreciate you making these. Unrelated, but in one of your videos I noticed you rotating the angle of the precision strike, does that make any difference?
It determines the direction the plane or planes approach from. You sometimes need to do it to avoid a building.
I also try to gave it approach the back of the tank if using it on a tank, but I don’t think that matters.

Respect for putting the M1 Garand in S-tier. It's by far the most versatile weapon in the game. I usually try to join the American side just to use it.
Some of the item placements on this list are criminal. Like the garand being higher than the gewehr and the grease gun being anywhere higher than f tier

Garand has worse sights than the Gewer and SVT, I'd put it lower.
I love the carbine, but I want to reach into the screen and rip off the semi-circle front sight. It is way worse than the real carbine sight.
The DP-27 and Lewis gun both have 47 round drum magazines in the game. I don't know why you think the Lewis gun holds more? I like the FG-42 and I have heard some people call it the most versatile gun in HLL and I tend to agree with them. It has better sights for pulling off longer ranged shots than the STG-44 and it has a higher rate of fire than the STG, which comes in handy in close quarters sometimes. I also strangely find it easier to control the recoil on the FG-42 than the STG-44 when really laying into full auto fire but that might just might be a me thing. I just wish the FG-42 had a little more ammo to go with it.

Yeah… gotta love the Garand.
Biggest downside is it’s a heavy pig to carry, but not a big deal since the gaming mouse weighs the same for every firearm.

For the most time in a HLL's match, we'll be suppressing the enemy or assisting other teammates instead of hunting enemies for a kill. But still a fun game.
The BAR is a browning. Browning automatic rifle.
One last thing about the outro : "if i want to sit in a bush and harass advancing enemies, i want the shittiest, most humiliating weapon to do it with"

Flamethrower was such a grind (for me, as I’m bad) to unlock, but then so bad 😢
It’s more bragging rights and a bit of trolling than anything else, although I have racked up 30 + kills and multiple Garry takedowns with it, it’s more for a bit of fun
No way is the BAR in the same realm as the MG42.
BAR should be in E Tier Like the Bren Gun
I get the flamethrower is.mainly used for fun, but I always use it to push and destroy garrisons. Yes, it destroys garrisons just like a antitank and thats why Id put it E
It's actually the best weapon for hunting down garrisons in the backline, because you can destroy them instantly. The problem is getting there though.
The M1919 is definitely A tier. It makes up for all the things the MG42 lacks (accuracy and controllability).
The entire B and C tier should be switched but the sniper can stay in B or go up to A

As soon as the MP40 landed in C tier I knew this video was going to be whack. MP40 can dump people at ridiculous ranges. Its at least an A tier
You kinda lost me a little on this when you put the M1 Carbine in B tier and the Kar98 and SMLE in D tier.
Both are superior to the M1 Carbine, which is just weak - D or E tier at best!
I'd take the 98 over the m1 carbine any day.
Pretty much how I would rank them too. My personal preference would be the BAR getting demoted to C tier and promoting the Grease Gun/Thompson/MP40 to B tier.

You know the game is not realistic when Mosin has higher fire-rate than the SMLE.
Pretty much agree with the list but for me personally the mp40 is s tier. Im effective with it 150 to 200 meters, at that range i just aim at the enemies feet.

The m1 carbine out classing the shotgun? You take that back, i am getting single shot kills with the shotgun at 200 meters you cant do that with the carbine.
There is absolutely a reason to use the mg34 over the 42.
The 42 is great for medium range suppression and urban fights. But the 34 has a far better rounds on target and recoil.
Tbh the Bren Gun is better than you think it is, on account of being able to ADS while standing instead of being exclusive to being deployed. I'd give it a C tier because no other MG with a bipod can do that without being deployed first.
I've just been shot too many times because the magazine was blocking my vision. I'm sure it's alright at long distances and deployed on like el alamein.
give my boy kar98K S tier, why?best sight, best range, best damage, best accuracy and yes maybe it isn't best at close range but biggest part of pvp is ong range where kar98k does its best
The Mark III with the double clip and those beautiful open iron sights is an A tier as far as bolt action goes. Best bolt action in the game for me perosnally.
And disagree with the FG42 sniper role not being good for close range. Thing can squad wipe at close range and is easily an S tier at medium to close rnage in the right hands.
Its interesting to see peoples differening opinions on the gun ranks though!
I'm nearing 1000 hours on HLL, if I had to make a tier list, and put it in order, it would go like this:
S tier: Kar98k, M1 Garand, STG-44, SVT-40, Gewehr 43, Thompson SMG.
A tier: MP40, PPSH-41, Hand Grenades, Mosin Nagant M91/30, MG42.
B tier: FG42(unscoped), MG34, Lee Enfield No1 Mk3, Mosin Nagant m38, Kar98k (scoped).
C tier: FG42 (scoped), Lee Enfield No4 Mk1, BAR, M3 Grease gun, Sten.
D tier: Shotgun, M1 Carbine, Browning 1919, Bren, Lewis, Springfield 1903.
E tier: Molotov Cocktails, DP28, Mosin Nagant M91, flamethrower
F tier: Sidearms

I have to say, holeheartedly disagree. The M1 Carbine e.g. is inferior to the Thompson and Mp40 in almost any regard imo. All three have poor muzzle velocity, damage output is roughly on par, versatility is muuch higher on the SMGs, one tapping is as easy with the Mp40 as the M1. The unscoped FG42 is easily better and more versatile the M1, as well as the choices for MG placement are weird.
I think a longer format would have helped you to make your placements more understandable
If you get a handful of HLL vets together to make a tier list, it would be all over the place.
I think the ones most people agree with are the top and bottom, everything in the middle is more of, opinions.
@@commandercrane2563 I think a lot the difference in opinions comes from how the guns interact with a persons skill set. If you tend to panic when an enemy randomly shows up at close range you'd likely be better off with an SMG than a semi auto.

Well in my opinion this tier list is pointless, since (as you also mentioned in the end of the video) it all depends on a class and situation that you plan to encounter. Maybe its better to have only 3 tiers in that case: Great (M1 Garand, Gewehr/SVT, MP 40, Thompson, MG42 etc), Mediocre (M1A1, Grease Gun etc.) and Trash (almost all British weapons and so on)

@@commandercrane2563 I mean like you say the mg42 has a "Very large mag" then say the browning has "a similar belt size". like just say they have 200. "the m1 is a one hit kill to everywhere unlike other semi autos." the m1 is identical the the other semis, except that it has 8 rounds instead of 10. no mention that scopes increase the damage at range of bolt actions rifles. "on the fg42 the scope won't one shot whee the unscoped would" false. m2 C is a bad placement and bren gen is in a terrible placement
