I have exactly the same, maybe better, but I low to the NPC one or two shots like you. How much damage do you have to enemy protection? How much damage to elites do you have? Head injury? I have mood makers, everything almost the same.

The number of NPCs scale based on the number of people in the group. Far less to deal with if running solo.

curious to know, why don't you use a shotty when their up close. the stagger will stop you getting rushed as often.
