I'm Dutch and have always loved the Brits, but they are very negative about the U.K. and that makes me sad. I understand that the U.K. is having its problems just like any other country, but it is far from a dump. British people have SO much to be proud of!!!! I pay good money every few years to experience British nature and culture. I daydream about the beauty of Scotland and Ireland. I wish people wouldn't give up on their culture so fast. Imagine if our grandparents had given up after WW2! Lots of love from the Netherlands. Never lose hope! Our countries have been in much, much worse situations.
I'm very proud of my country and I'm definitely not giving up on it. It's just really sad what's happening here. Thanks for your input my friend, stay safe.
Awww !! 🥰 absolutely love these stories...just like in the old days, before everyone started to get suspicious about everyone else... Great to hear there's still some warmth, sense of community and excitement about getting to know one another and sharing stuff. I love small villages, they're always full of surprises. And usually good ones🥰. Thank you for sharing the beautiful crackly leaves and amazing views! 😍👍
Lovely video. Herefordshire is a beautiful county and the people are on the whole very friendly. When you are out and about there, people actually speak to you.
What an experience my man... it's how i feel when i hang out with people at random, and meet up with my American friend Dave.. He loves that culture too, and loved your drink in Cornwall... I'm seeing him in polperro in July next year, with our baby. Staying in a lovely cottage together. Maybe if you're around, say hello
Happy you had such a wonderful experience with a family in the local pub. These are the stories I remember my Mom telling us as a kid, she was born and raised in Pontypool, Wales. Her stories always sounded like bits of a movie from a small village consisting of tight knit people who treated each other as family. I've heard you describe this setting before, something you experienced in your own hometown and actually other villages in Wales. It put a smile on my face, thanks for that! Enjoy your ongoing adventures and stay safe. Looking forward to the next! Sandy from California!
Hey Sandy! Yes it was a great experience and the kind that doesn't happen too often anymore unfortunately. It really was like going back in time for a short while 😁 I hope all is well in Cali and thanks for watching 🤗
New to your channel. There ARE good people around. Keep faith. Cheers, from Normandy, France.
There definitely are. Thanks for watching and following and your input 🤗

It's a lovely part of the UK isn't it! Thanks for sharing your thoughts 😁
A beautiful experience! Kind and welcoming folk abound, in a high trust society. Your kind spirit found good company. Cheers from Southern Canada.
Hey there! Thanks for watching from Canada! I also had great experiences over there with kind folk! Have a great day 😁👍🏼
