Hi. I’m a Christian man. This video popped up today as I sit here upset because the supplier of my new business changed the recipe without telling me, I am at a loss of what to do. When I heard him say we are to believe in ourselves as we believe in HaShem I suddenly realized I can not play the victim and somehow I must find a way for the show to go on. Thank you.
Tell us what what the supplier messed up, maybe a viewer can help you.
Rooting for you, Jeremy!
Every word is חכמה! I like that he says things that people need to hear ! Thumbs up!
Find a new supplier? What, that would breach your contract? Well, they did first.
💪
Girl from one of the goyishe communities here. Wondeful interview. Learned so much. Biggest takeway for me that I want to incorporate into my life is to stop kvetching and just get on with it. And to believe in myself more. I wish I was Jewish! But G-d has given me my own mission in life. But I can learn from and be a friend and ally of the Jewish people. Am Yisrael Chai. 💙
🫶🏻
Am Yisrael Chai !!
You don’t have to be Jewish to be a wonderful moral ethical human being which obviously you are, much love and God bless
@@svietka202 Sweet words, thank you! And Pesach Sameach! :)
Non-Jewish guy here. Keep listening to videos of Chasiddim. I have always suffered from depression leading to sub-optimal efforts and choices in life. These videos help so much! Grateful to Hashem that these are in my feed.
People spend money they don't have, for things they dont need, to impress people who don't care. Much Wisdom.
Agree. People use money as entitled and for feeling good. I think we need more education to provide knowledge for our citizens. Our present knowledge seems to make and keep us poor.
Some people use money as a tool to improve the world, it’s energy.
Wow! Listen closely and you will hear something that most people will miss. He realised that after 10 years of being an end of wedding entertainer, the younger generation was catching up with him, he moved from number 1 to 4 and was going to become number 100th someday. Instead of complaining he made changes. Many people work for others all their life and never realize that they could change and become the boss.
Excellent, Eric!
I know a father whose daughter wanted a big wedding. 60k. This was 20 years ago. He said how about down payment on the house? She took it and is filling a 5 bedroom house with children. What a wonderful start!
Valuable lessons that the average middle class parson can learn from. Humility that every rich person should learn from.
Super episode. Please bring more of him.
Yoneson is always great that's a given!
But I want to applaud the interviewer here..
You are the only frum person in this business who knows how to bring out the best of your guest!
You hardly interrupt, you let the guest speak..
Sadly all other frum podcasts are doing a poor job, the other hosts do not stop asking questions thinking this is their job, and the result is that after a one hour interview you hardly get a full picture of what the guest wanted to say..
Some have great guest on their podcast who can share wisdom etc. They want to tell their life story etc.
But the interviewer can't resist being quiet..
Podcasters and vloggers take note..
💯
Omg couldn’t agree more.
well said
Hi, I am Catholic, thanks for knowledge sharing! My great Jewish hero is Dr. Esther Gitman she wrote the book: "When Courage Prevailed: The Rescue and Survival of Jews in the Independent State of Croatia 1941-1945"
Greetings from Croatia
I’m Catholic and I love this channel. I learned so much.. thank you for the hard work you put into delivering great content.
I am Catholic and I learned to read to Hebrew. The meaning of Joel is the Lord is God. Your last name is Spanish for day.
I’m not Jewish but I love the culture of most of the Jewish people. I think that y’all culture, I feel is amazing for healthy children. I love how Jewish people are for the most part the most self sufficient people as a whole. I respect that so much. I often think about when we were children, we were poor and I’m certain that was the happiest times of my life. I don’t remember having bday parties or anything but we had so much love and togetherness, to me that beats all any amount of money. I never ever remember being sad that we didn’t have a birthday party, the most important thing is for kids to feel loved and seen. Money doesn’t equal happiness, at all. It’s important to have enough to survive no doubt. My parents split when me and my youngest brother were like 10, 12 years old and ever since then it feels like nothing has been the same but we had a wonderful mother. She did everything in her power to teach us manners, morals, etc. I’m so extremely grateful that my husband is such of good father & husband. Sorry for the book. I just have so much respect for the Jewish people. I love that he said you should never have a victim complex. If only have of the people understood that. 😊
Thanks for sharing. I love your perspective!
I love listening wise businessmen like this man , regards and respect 🙏
By the way I remember your father’s store שווארץ חשמל when I was a bachor.
Thank you for allowing yourself to be interviewed. You have proven אין לך דבר יפה מן הצניעות! Nothing better than modesty!
Hi, a goyimer here from Indonesia, thanks for the inspiration. A Jewish Man said a parable about a King left coins to His subordinates (3 persons)and left the Kingdom. Once the King returns calls the 3 subordinates. Two of them managed to multiply the coins while the other one burried the coins and accused the King as a vicious man. The coins are talents that the Lord has given to each of us… now this is reflected in the man here. Understanding where your “umph” factor and grow it… thank you again. I am trying to multiple the coins
Congrats on crossing the 1 million subs. I didn't realize that achievement had already occurred.
He’s completely right about the standard of living going through the roof… I’m not orthodox nor do I live in a community, as such, but I can tell you it’s happening everywhere… too many of the people I know that are just getting out of college or really starting their career (mid 20’s to 30’s) have such a high standard that they choose to get into big cars, luxury apartments, and go on vacations all the time. only to take on massive amounts of debt and don’t own anything… don’t get me wrong, there are some that can afford it (as he was saying) but due to social media, everyone is trying to live like everyone that has more… it’s sad. Simplicity is the key to peace.
Very well said!
@@LivingLchaim Thank you!
Downright one of the best interviews I’ve ever watched,
I never pay attention or care for any video or audio podcasts - this was an excellent!
Why, thank you, friend!
As a non-Jew, I have a Jewish friend that I have mentored in Jewish/Israeli online defense against haters. He has made big hits as a song writer...
He can help other Jews to learn how to defend Jews and Israel online. But it would also be great with funding, so they can focus 100% on defending the Jewish community.
Defend them from who? What are you talking about?
@@4xfun563 The Jews are under massive attack right now by Hamas/the "Palestinians" that killed, tortured and raped a lot of Israelis.
Around the world the Jews are experience antisemitism on a huge level because of the support for the "Gazans", that are involved with dead children propaganda (RUclips: Pallywood) to create the illusion the Israelis are evil - what they are not. They are really good people except for Soros types.
I have great love for the Jewish community as a non-Jew. They are the world's most misunderstood people and great humanitarians. ❤✡🇮🇱
Shalom means peace....
I don’t know how this popped up in my feed. This is so inspirational, exactly what I needed to hear.
Very nice interview. Finally someone addressed the issue of wedding prices.
Wow! This video is massive eye opening.
Please keep them coming
❤❤❤
This man is so admirable! ❤. Thank you for inviting him.
I appreciate the definitions, thank you.
Love your channel and interviews....Awesome!!
He is one of the most amazing people on the planet ❤️ 😊
He's very honest and talking about the reality ,loving 😊
Lots of wisdom here!
Thank you, gentlemen.
I love the way R' Shwartz made a wedding ,so cool!No heart attacks and massive debt after the wedding. Problem is,some other average income people are snobs with very low confidence and like to believe they are the British Royal Family for a night.
Then have to live with the price tag which they expect others to pay.
What he's saying here is gold.
Positive thoughts leads to positive outcome
One of the most valuable episodes ever. A true inspiration.
Very wise man when he said just work with what you have. In reality, that's all you can do anyway regardless of your circumstances.
Rabbi Schwartz is so right! My wife & I have been talking about this for years; that the Olam is way way over doing it. But the only way for this to go back to the way it’s supposed to be is if everyone especially the ones that are well off B”H : do live a life & teach it to their kids to live simpler lives. B”H that the message we taught our children (unfortunately their spouses didn’t always learn that lesson) so whenever we make a simcha or make Shabbos/ Yom Tov we don’t over do it : we don’t buy/ make anything that’s not necessary. We just made a simcha & no we didn’t use flowers that’ll end up in the garbage afterwards : we used candles & no one noticed it. The clothes we buy our children aren’t “designer” with over done prices & now that they buy their own clothes they see how right we were. If anyone has “extra” money imagine what they can accomplish if they helped people instead of “showing off”.
designer clothes might attract the ayin hara, while giving tzadakah attracts brochos
There is so much to learn from the Jewish people.
Thank you for sharing this with us 🎉
Not what I expected, but very pleased. Great show!
I enjoy your channel so very much! Thank you for the meaningful insights and the informative guests.
Wisdom, wisdom wisdom. We all need to listen to this.
Great Wisdom that should be taught in the public school.
I love to watch your videos. Now is even better with translation.
Thank you.😊
AMAZING MAN, AMZING CONTENT I LOVE IT AND HAPPY I FOUND THIS CHANNEL
Best insight from anyone in Jewish wedding industry......
Amazing episode. Great wisdom. Be good to get him back on another time. Would have been also interesting to find out about his Amazon business.
Keeping up with people is tough. I moved out of London and most of my friends from the community take pity on this decision. Yet our costs are half and there is a shul here and community and its a decent life. so me and my wife are happpy with our decision.
One of the most powerful podcasts ever. Shkoiaj! I’ve been a follower since the early days so it is great to see how big Living Lchaim has become. Jizku Veimtzu!!!
Amazing episode!! Thank you for sharing!! Truly inspiring to hear how he started from nothing. I heard my father in his message of not falling into the overly expensive wedding craze.
Great episode! Just a quick note: there's a mistranslation at 46:39
Amazing!
Love this video. Thank you for all your content. Muchas gracias 🙏
Wonderful advice ❤
Thank you I learn something new.
Like always! what amazing wisdom, from great humble humman being, thank so much for opens more knowledge and the love of G-d to all 🇮🇱✡️🇺🇸
Love the subtitles. Helps a lot, thank you.
Really like you added the translation of Hebrew words. Thank You! 💙
There were some Yiddish words too. Where are your thanks for them?
@@estebancorral5151 I will let you take care of that...smh...🤨
Small space but happy. I like that
Wow. Very frugal gentleman ❤ love
Not frugal...just wise
Frugality is not encouraged in Judaism.
May the Schwartz be with you !
You just got a new subscriber 🙏🏽
This is one of the most motivating and practical videos I’ve heard! Never play the victim card.
Such an insightful and eye-opening episode!!!
Very deep and wise
A lot of truth here. Many people choose to be poor. I made choices that led to being wealthy, and now that I need money for health problems, I have it. Chasidim are very big on business. Unfortunately, yeshiva men do not think in terms of having a business, they think it's beyond them. It's not. That's why they live at the very edge of existence and get charity - in Lakewood, in Baltimore! I see it in my own close family.
@erpollock. Can you share the secret...? The choices you made to 'become rich'?
Money cannot buy health 😢
Nobody chooses to be poor. Being wealthy is not a goal for many Jews, and for good reason. We are not commanded to become rich, but we are commanded to study Torah and live a righteous life. Working is just "hishtadlus". It's G-d who decides who will prosper.
Amazing
Common sense at its best. Everyone should listen to this and most importantly implement it.
This episode isn’t about everyone making a million. It’s about how expensive everything is and how we can’t afford to live.
It didn’t say it was about everyone making a million

Thank you so much for this video I definitely needed to hear this from a frum chasid
That is why yiddin are still successful and many other people who are not named are still playing victim.

His wife told him he should go into the toy business 🙂. My mom told my dad to go into the car repair business in Detroit. Where would these men be without their women? ☺
You can say that again!

Wonderful episode! Great interview! Thank you.
Truly a crowd favorite!
Tremendously enjoyed this episode.
The host / interviewer is great too. Kosher Money never stresses me out. The guest is free to make explanations without being needlessly interrupted by the host.
Awesome! Keep it up. 👏🏼
What a wise man.
I have, never, been concerned with what people think
Wisdom. We must all try, otherwise we won't know....
Wow...... great .... You have contributed a lot for your followers. We thank you very much ......
RUclips suggested your channel and it's a great coincidence as I was trying to find a good way to reach people in your community. I am a real estate agent in NY and we have 80 acres of residential development land available in Bethel NY. I would love to discuss it further with anyone who may be interested.

Haha our wedding as two 30 something’s making 90K cost < 2K . But it was a relative who offered to pay but was offended that we didn’t rent a hall, cater a feast, hire a band…THEY wanted the trimmings, but we just wanted to get married. ❤
I like the translations. Awesome videos!
We appreciate you.
I prefer a simple wedding. It focuses on the meaning and emotion behind the ceremony. Loved ones there to wish the new married couple well on their journey together.
Conspicuous consumption is just objectionable.
Weddings are all about emotions and nothing about rationality. Especially the gossips who disclose the indiscretions of each in the couple. How these people get invited to weddings is beyond me.
I LOVE THIS PODCAST!!!!
Im watching this channel by the motto "If you cant beat them, join them"
Thank you for sharing this insightful interview! There are indeed many valuable insights to delve into and explore further
The most amazing interview I ever heard, and everything is 100% correct.
You are amazing Yoinessen

If there is a will there is a way.
I come from an upper middle class family... I'm not Jewish and I married a man from another upper middle class family... But I never cared about a big wedding... Each family put in about 4k and us as a couple put in 4k as well... So altogether our wedding was 12K... It was on the beach of a hotel and catered by the hotel, college student for a DJ and photographer... $400 for the dress (+$500 for alterations)... My mom made most of the decorations. I printed and designed my own invitations... Bada Bing Bada Boom, 14 years and 2 kids later we are still happily married. Also the ring was $250 but I ended up loosing it and then got a silver replacement instead of gold for $25USD... I ended up loosing that one too...LOL.🤣
You beat the odds. You married when 50% of married couples divorced in five years. Tell me the truth it was not all smelling of roses and tasting as sweet as strawberries.
@@estebancorral5151 Not really sure what you mean... But of course nothing is perfect... As long as both parties also don't expect perfection from each other then you will do better than most people. Your partner will have flaws, period... Learn to deal with it or learn to live alone. My hubby does drive me crazy sometimes and I know I can be a pain sometimes but I wouldn't want to live my life without him by my side.
Super mensch!
Next talk about the boards.. making every yom tov a gift giving moment....sick. Chanukah like Christmas lehavdil. Purim/ gifts, ..hotels, getaways, traveling, country homes, the pressure to keep up is sick. Shadduchiim based on wages ...parnusses. help...weve beome crazy! A kallah needig to wear 30,000 jewelry at 19 yars. Bugaboo carriages, like nothing else exists. And on & on
Fabulous business man - and a great Mensch !
We need to lower the material standards in our community... This man is 100% right. Maybe one day somebody will have the power to force the standards down so everybody could feel accepted.
I think it’s on each individual to take responsibility for their own finances. Why does someone have to force the standards down?
I think it’s admirable that rabbi Schwartz made a simple wedding, but if a wealthy person has the ability and wants to spend (waste) their money on a fancy wedding, that’s their right. That doesn’t mean that middle class and struggling people should feel the need to do the same.
